    A contrast of the rural and urban in Hokkaido, this area is a popular overlook spot for tourists in a grazing area for sheep. This spot offers fantastic views of the Ishikari Plain and the Sapporo Dome!

    • The museum and footbath at Hitsujigaoka Observation Hill are both free of charge. A hand towel to wipe off your feet is available for 100 JPY at the footbath.
    • On 12/7, 1/22, and 3/4-3/7, the double-decker bus will be undergoing regularly scheduled mechanical checks and inspections. During these days various chartered sightseeing buses will be offered.
    • The bus can take a maximum of 40 passengers per tour.
    • In the case of a breakdown or scheduled maintenance a regular sightseeing bus may be offered with no multilingual audio system.
    • The time spent at each stop may be altered due to traffic or the size of the group.
    • The tour may end early due to holidays or other closures.
    • Depending on traffic or bad weather, the return bus to Sapporo Station may be delayed. Please allow enough time to make connecting transfers.
    • Tours may be cancelled due to bad weather or road closures. Please contact the tour operator to confirm that the bus will be operating in the event of inclement weather.
    • The double-decker bus is customized for a multilingual audio system (Japanese, English, Chinese, and Korean).
    • Participants may show their ticket stub and receive a 10% discount for the Sports Museum and the chair lift as well as a discount on soft serve ice cream (down from ¥350 to ¥300.)
    • Due to inspection and maintenance, the chair lifts will be unavailable between April. 7th - 18th.
