Shitennouji TempleThe first state-established Buddhist temple in Japan, it was founded in 593 by Prince Shotoku and is dedicated to the Four Guardian Kings, or Shitenno.

Garden of ParadiseA Japanese-style garden with a pond and waterfalls.
You can enjoy a bowl of green tea and a sweet in a teahouse. (400 yen)
Rokuji-DoThere is a 400-year-old stone stage in front of the hall, one of the three great stone stages in Japan. Bugaku or traditional Japanese court music and dancing is performed here on April 22.
Tennouji ParkIt is an urban oasis located next to Tennouji Station. The park consists of a zoo, Museum of Fine Arts and a Japanese garden called Keitakuen.
About the Museum and GardenThe building of the museum and the garden were donated by the Sumitomo family, a wealthy merchant family of the Edo period.
The garden charms and delights visitors with its natural landscapes of the four seasons.
Abeno HarukasThe new highest skyscraper of Japan. At 300 meters high, rising 60 stories above the ground, the building dominates the whole city. Have a cup of coffee overlooking the city!
