I always wondered if I would ever be able to make pretty decorations using fruit, like the ones on tarts and cakes. I asked my aunt who enjoys cooking to come along to try this fruit cutting class with me. I'm horrible with using the knife, so I was a bit afraid I'd lose a finger at first, but Ms.Yukari was extremely careful and taught me how to cut the fruit neatly. Aside from the cutting, we also learned how to arrange the fruit on the plate so it looked like a cute platter, rather than just a simple bowl of fruit. After the class, we tasted all the fruit we cut and left surprisingly full! I think this will be great for chefs at home and children who want to practice their knife skills.

  • Simple but elegant cut fruit

  • We got to taste the fruit with some tea

  • The studio also does porcelarts that's super pretty too!
