Third Man Movie LocationsReviewed by: Mone Mum, 2015/10/02
I was really surprise that a tour of the movie locations for a film from 1949 would be possible.
Meeting point was easy to find, at the entrance to the station facing the street. Apart from us, there 1 Japanese person, few Americand and Germans, 10 people in total. The guide gave explanation in English and German. He told us some very interesting stories. Johannesgasse street was not picked as a meeting point for no reason, it was also were some of the scenes were shot. The guide showed us some pictures from the actual film, so we could see the exact locations. You better have your camera ready. It:s really interesting to know that a movie that was created over 70 years ago is still alive in people's imagination!

Awesome tour for Third Man geeks!Reviewed by: A. Lee, 2015/07/11
Best walking tour I have ever taken. As a film student, the Third Man is a classic. There were quite a lot of mysterious unsolved questions in my head after watching the film, and this tour is just perfect for answering every questions I had in my mind. Explained a lot about the environment of post-war Vienna. Including the city structures and the history of Austria. Taking this tour was not just learning about the film, but also understanding the whole background history of the post-war Vienna. Learnt quite a few fun fact about the film. Due to the fact that Vienna has changed a lot after the war and many scenes are different now, I was a bit disappointed. However, there was a surprise at the end (not going to spoil it). The ending location is actually next to one of Beethoven's old apartments, check it out!
