Great way to taste roman food while enjoying Roma`s hidden treasures

Valeria, the guide who escorted us, has a special way to make you taste the roman specialties before you actually eat them, just talking and waving her hand like real Italians do.
The tours starts in Campo de Fiori at an historic bakery, with the explanation on italian bread and pizza types, then a brief introduction to what is a "norcineria" and there we were ready to start the tasting tour (mozzarella, salami, pecorino cheese). After short walk we where inside the jewish ghetto and plunged in its fascinating history where we had tasteful Suppli and Zucchini flowers.
Last but not least, we crossed the Tevere river and arrived in Trastevere area, for a nice pasta tasting 100% roman style. Before going home we had a refreshing gelato which completed this beautiful tour.
I recommend to have a light lunch if you join the afternoon tour ^_^
