It connects the city of Lisbon to the municipality of Almada on the left (south) bank of the Tagus river. Travel in an open top bus and admire it's amazing construction!
Christ the King Statue (Christo Rei)This monumental statue overlooking Lisbon was inspired by the the Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro, after the Cardinal Patriarch of Lisbon visited that monument. It was build to express gratitude for spearing Portugal in the World War II.
