I don't think it's often that you spend over 10 hours with someone you've just met. Because of that, I was hoping for a guide who seemed kind, not too loud, but still entertaining, and by chance, I connected with one through social media.
When we met on the day, the politeness I felt from our previous DMs remained, and I found him to be more interesting and surprisingly full of a spirit of service than I expected!
Looking around, I noticed many guides with a somewhat careless attitude and tone, bu… I don't think it's often that you spend over 10 hours with someone you've just met. Because of that, I was hoping for a guide who seemed kind, not too loud, but still entertaining, and by chance, I connected with one through social media.

Looking around, I noticed many guides with a somewhat careless attitude and tone, but he treated us with respect until the very end. Moreover, his spirit of service was remarkable; he surprised us with a newlywed gift, offered a variety of drinks beyond just coffee (I had given up on that since I'm not good with caffeine, but I was able to choose cocoa!), and provided us with ice-cold juice at Taiko Rock. I felt his thoughtfulness throughout.
Even photos that I was a bit shy to ask for were suggested by Tsugimura-san, allowing us to create many memories. I received photos that captured Yakushima, like pictures of the Kodama and Yakushima monkeys, and the editing was perfect! It also helped me learn about photography techniques (^^).
I think it would have been nice if he had consulted me in advance about posting face photos.
