Meet at the shop
A coral expert is on staff!
Experience a special "Reef Check" to assess the health of coral reefs, made possible by our lagoon staffed with coral professionals certified by marine scientists. This unique opportunity allows you to verify the vitality of the reefs firsthand.
Explain about coral
Shop staff will explain the basics and current state of coral in easy-to-understand language.
Coral farm tour
You will visit an on-land coral cultivation facility where corals from Onna Village, collected with special permission, are spreading their branches.
①Coral propagation workshop
In this environmentally friendly workshop, you will create coral seedlings by attaching corals to original sticks that you have decorated using crayons and colored pencils made from rice.
Prepare for snorkeling
We will provide thorough instructions on changing clothes and using snorkeling equipment. We will give a detailed explanation, so even first-timers can participate with confidence.
Move to the "coral field" by boat
We will head to the marine area known as the "coral field" where corals are being planted! We will travel to the spot by boat, so even those who are not confident in their physical strength can feel at ease.
Observe the planting of corals while snorkeling (Underwater stay 30~40min)
Our staff will plant corals using freediving techniques. Free diving, skin diving, and diving certifications can be planted by yourself. After planting, enjoy snorkeling in the coral field.
※If desired, you can switch to diving (additional ¥6,500, payable on-site).
Rreturn to the shop and change your clothes
The shop is equipped with warm private showers, swimsuit spin dryers, hair dryers, and drinking water, all available for free use. Please enjoy sightseeing even after the tour ends!
A certificate of seedling creation will be presented
As a memento of your coral seedling creation, you will receive a Seedling Creation Certificate! It will be provided either digitally or on fair-trade paper.
