Create your own accessory with the popular Persian Blue ceramics painting experience. This destination-based tour includes viewing works by Living National Treasure Takao Kato and learning global ceramics rules at the Ancient Ceramics Museum.

Schedule

1. Meet at Koubeigama
2. Tour the Koubeigama

   Receive a history explanation and tour the museum at Kōhoku Kiln, which has earned two stars in the Michelin Green Guide

   
3. Painting Experience

   Draw your pendant design on a special sheet, then transfer it directly onto the unglazed pendant. Once your design is complete, artisans will apply additional layers and fire it to finish.
   
   *Completion takes about 2 months.
   *The pendant will be mailed to your home (around ¥3,000 within Asia).

   
4. Visit the Ancient Ceramics Museum

   Learn about the history and rules of ceramics from around the world at the Ancient Ceramics Museum.
