Paddle for about 30 minutes through lush mangroves and subtropical forests, part of Iriomote’s UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Trekking to the Top of the Falls
Hike for about 45 minutes toward the top of Pinaisara Falls, surrounded by untouched nature.
Lunch with a View
Enjoy lunch at the waterfall’s summit on sunny days. The meal includes freshly made Yaeyama soba with tender simmered pork (sōki), served with flavorful broth in the heart of nature.

Staff will pick you up at your accommodation. Pick-up times vary by area and will be confirmed the day before the tour.

(Note: There are two ports on Iriomote – Ōhara Port and Uehara Port.)
We will inform you of the correct port and ferry boarding time during a phone call on the evening before your tour.

If you are elderly, have health concerns, or a chronic medical condition, please consult with us at the time of booking.
Please avoid overeating, excessive drinking, or staying up late the day before the tour, and ensure you are in good health on the day of participation.

Recommended Clothing

Other requirements

The tour will be canceled only in the case of heavy rain that the guide deems dangerous. In general, the tour will still operate even in moderate rain.
If the tour needs to be canceled, the tour operator will contact you by phone on the day before or between 7:00 and 7:30 AM on the day of the tour.
The tour may be canceled under the following conditions:
・A weather warning has been issued or is expected to be issued
・A typhoon is approaching or has just passed
・Thunderstorms are occurring
・Rivers or waterfalls are dangerously flooded due to heavy rain the day before
・A participant repeatedly ignores the guide’s instructions and engages in dangerous behavior
・The guide becomes unwell and cannot safely lead the tour
If weather conditions change suddenly during the tour, it may be canceled mid-way for safety reasons.
Please note that in such cases, no refunds will be provided.
Access to the Pinaisara Falls area will be limited starting March 2025.
Advance application is required, and a ¥500 access approval fee per person will be included in the tour price.

小雨が降ったり止んだりしましたが何とか持ち堪えました。
ピナイサーラの滝上に到着し、マングローブを見渡せる景色は最高でした。
ガイドさんが作ってくれた八重山そばが出汁がきいて美味しかったです。
写真も沢山撮ることができ、ゆっくりできました。次は滝壺を目指して降りました。
滝壺に到着し、雨の影響で水が濁ってましたが滝水の迫力が凄かったです。
雨が激しくなり寒かったですが、ガイドさんがコーヒーを淹れてくれたコーヒーで身体が温まりました。
雨が強まる中カヌーで戻りました。
途中から大雨になりましたが貴重な体験ができました。ホテル迄の送迎の途中にセマルハコガメに遭遇できラッキーでした。
終始ガイドさんが気遣って下さり安心してツアーに参加できました。
