Kumano Nachi Taisha
Kumano Nachi Taisha is situated halfway up Mount Nachi and is a shrine with origins in the ancient nature worship of Nachi Falls. The shrine also enshrines the "Hiryu Gongen," which deifies the Nachi Falls.
Nachi Falls
Nachi Falls is formed by multiple streams converging from the depths of Mount Nachi and Mount Oomine, flowing through the primeval forest. With a drop of 133 meters, a width of 13 meters, and a basin depth of 10 meters, it offers a breathtaking view. Be sure to enjoy the majestic scenery.
Seiganto-ji temple
Seiganto-ji Temple, along with Kumano Nachi Taisha, is one of the temples that gathers deep faith as a center of Kumano worship. Behind the main hall stands a beautiful vermilion triple pagoda that harmonizes with Nachi Falls, making it a popular photo spot known for its beauty and splendor.
