On a pleasant, sunny weekday in autumn, I participated in a bus tour to Hida Takayama and Shirakawa-go. As expected from Veltra, there were only a few Japanese participants, and the tour was very international, with everyone being well-versed in traveling in Japan and its customs. Visiting popular spots on a weekday allowed for a moderate crowd, and the crisp mountain air and breeze were delightful. In Takayama, I enjoyed food sampling and tasting local sake, as well as Hida beef croquettes and obanyaki. We then headed to Shirakawa-go with plenty of time to spare. It was my first visit, and I was impressed by the grandeur of the river valley and the harmony of the gassho-zukuri houses that continued deeper into the village; it was truly beautiful. Despite the number of tourists, there wasn't a single piece of trash in sight, which was impressive. I spent a leisurely autumn afternoon and returned to Nagoya as scheduled. Thank you very much to our multilingual guide and the driver who drove safely and on time.

秋の気持ちの良い晴天の平日、飛騨高山と白川郷バスツアーに参加しました。さすがベルトラさん、参加者は日本人はわずかで、国際色豊かなツアーでしたが、皆さん日本を旅慣れているというか、日本の旅のマナーもよく心得ている方ばかりでした。平日に人気スポットを訪れることができ、ほどほどの混み具合、澄み切った山の空気や風が心地よかったです。高山では、食べ歩きや地酒のお試し飲み、飛騨牛コロッケや大判焼きも楽しみました。そして、余裕を持って白川郷向かいました。初めて訪れ、川の渓谷の雄大さ、その奥に続く合掌造りの家々が村全体が調和が降っていて、とても美しいと言う印象でした。あれだけ観光客が訪れてもゴミ1つ落ちていないのはさすがです。ゆったりとした秋の午後の時間を過ごして、予定通りに名古屋に戻ってきました。何か国語も操るガイドさん、安全運転で、定刻通りに走ってくれた運転手さん、本当にありがとうございました。

Even though it was Saturday and the roads were likely crowded, the entire itinerary was perfectly timed, with plenty of sightseeing and break time, allowing us to enjoy the tour with peace of mind.

土曜日で道も混んでいたでしょうに、全行程時間ぴったりで、観光時間や休憩時間も充分にあり、安心して観光できました。

It seemed to be a well-known tour for foreign visitors, and out of the nine participants that day, seven were likely from China, including the driver (who also made announcements about the meeting times).

Perhaps because it was a small group, we used a minivan with a capacity of ten people instead of a large bus. It wasn't particularly bumpy, and we were able to spend the time comfortably, although I felt a bit cramped since I had my luggage in my seat. If I had asked, I might have been able to place it in the empty space at the back.

The announcements inside the vehicle and at the location were primarily in Chinese, and we were only given the minimum information (meeting time). However, if we had any questions, the driver was able to answer them properly, so there were no issues, and we could participate with peace of mind.

We arrived at Kamikochi before 11 AM and were satisfied to enjoy a full four hours of exploration until just before 3 PM.

外国の方向けに広く知られているツアーのようで、この日の参加9名のうち私達以外の7名の方はおそらく中国の方で、運転手（この方が集合時間等のアナウンスもされていました）も中国の方でした。

少人数だったためか、大型のバスでなくキャラバンの様な10名定員のミニバン（？）でした。特に揺れがひどいわけではなく問題なく過ごせましたが、荷物を自席に置いていたので少し窮屈に感じました。申し出れば、もしかしたら後部の空きスペースに置かせてもらえたかもしれません。

車内や現地でのアナウンスは基本的にほぼ中国語で、私たちには最低限の情報（集合時間）が知らされるのみ。ですが、気になることがあれば運転手さんに確認すればきちんと答えてくれるので問題なく、安心して参加することができました。

11時前に上高地に到着し、15時前までたっぷり4時間散策を楽しむことができて満足でした。

It's a two-hour course. There aren't many bus tours that can take you to Hida Takayama and Shirakawa-go in a day, so it was fantastic. It might be a bit busy for two hours, but when you think about driving round trip from Nagoya for six hours in a rental car, I believe the bus tour is more comfortable. While renting a car does offer flexibility with time, I think driving after walking a lot during sightseeing can be quite tiring. Plus, you won't be able to enjoy the local sake, right? Anyway, it turned out to be an amazing trip. Thank you very much!

名古屋から往復6時間レンタカーで運転するって
考えるとバスツアーのほうが快適だと思います。
レンタカーはレンタカーで時間に融通が利くのでそこはメリットだとは思いますが、観光でたくさん歩いたあとに運転するのはだいぶ疲れるかなと思います。あとご当地の地酒を飲めなくなりますしね笑笑。とにかく最高の旅になりました。ありがとうございました

I was able to sightsee efficiently. The Hida beef sushi was incredibly delicious, so I definitely recommend trying it. I would like to use this service for other plans as well.

I participated with a foreign friend. It was convenient and nice that they took us from Nagoya to Takayama and Shirakawa-go. Since it was a holiday, there were about 25 groups from various countries, but the tour guide explained everything in Japanese, English, and Chinese, so we had no problems. It was a tour that, for better or worse, was just about being taken to the destination, but it was great that we could explore freely once we got there. The roads were congested, causing significant delays, but we were given a full two hours of sightseeing time at each location. Thank you for a meaningful experience!

高山と白川郷まで名古屋から連れていってくれるので、便利で良かったです。
連休だったので25組くらい色んな国の方が居ましたが、添乗員さんが日本語、英語、中国語で説明してくれるので問題なく過ごせました。
良くも悪くも「現地まで連れていってもらうだけ」のツアーなので、現地では自由に散策できて良かったです。道が混んで居てだいぶ遅延しましたが、観光時間はきっちりそれぞれ2時間取ってくれました。

The guide was very kind, and the stay in Takayama and Shirakawa-go was just the right length of two hours—not too long and not too short. I enjoyed strolling around the streets and eating delicious food. I thought it would be nice to stay overnight in Shirakawa-go someday.

ガイドさんが親切な方でしたし、飛騨高山、白川郷の滞在は、長すぎず短すぎずの２時間で、個人的にはちょうどよい長さでした。ぶらぶらしながら街並みを楽しんだり、美味しいものを食べたりして過ごしました。白川郷はいつか宿泊してみたいなぁと思いました。

I used this service with a friend. The weather was wonderful, and we were able to see the best views. The duration of our stay was also set at a comfortable time, which I appreciated. However, during my visit, there were mostly Chinese tourists, and while the guide provided clear announcements in Chinese, there were times when they didn't inform us about the return time to the bus at the service area. I would have liked to have clearer announcements in Japanese as well.

友人と利用
天気に恵まれ最高の景色が見られました。
滞在時間も疲れすぎない程よい時間設定で良かったと思います。
ただ私が利用した時には中国人が過半数を占めており、ガイドの方も中国アナウンスはしっかりしているのにＳＡでのバスに戻る時間を案内できていない時があったので日本語でもしっかり案内してほしかったです。

There were about 25 participants, and I was the only Japanese person. The driver was the only Japanese person, which somehow made me feel reassured. (laughs) I think the tour guide was probably Chinese.

Since there were participants from various countries, there were no greetings on the bus and no local guidance. It’s necessary to accept that the tour guide is not a guide in the traditional sense. (laughs) However, they clearly communicated the meeting times, distributed brochures tailored to each country before arriving at each location, and provided simple explanations in broken language.

This may not be suitable for those expecting the services of a large Japanese travel company’s bus tour, but it was absolutely fine for me. I was able to visit places that are difficult to reach individually, enjoy sightseeing comfortably by bus, and had a wonderful day.

That said, there were indeed participants from various countries this time, but everyone adhered to the meeting times, there were no loud talkers, and everyone was quite reasonable, which might have been lucky. It might be better for those participating in this tour to not expect too much of a Japanese-style experience.

In any case, I had a great time sightseeing without any issues. Thank you for a fun day!

運転手さんは唯一日本の方で何となく心強かったです。笑
添乗員さんは多分中国の方だと思います。
色々な国の参加者の方が居られましたのでバス内で挨拶もないし現地の案内もありません。ガイドさんではなく添乗員さん、と割り切るのが必要です。　笑
でも集合時間を分かりやすく伝えてくれたり、各地到着前に各国に合わせたパンフレットを配ってくれたり、片言で簡単な説明してくれたり、と、
日本の大型旅行会社のバスツアーサービスを期待してる方には向かないかもですが、私には全く問題ありませんでした。
個人では行きにくい場所にゆったりとバスで連れて行って貰えて観光も満喫でき、楽しい1日となりました。

ただ、今回は本当に様々な国の方が居られましたが、皆様しっかりと集合時間を守り、大声で喋る方も居ないし、常識ある方ばかりだったのがラッキーだったのかも知れません。
そこは参加者の方で差があるかもなのでこのツアーはあまり日本式を求めないで参加する方がいいかもです。

とにもかくにも私は何も問題なく楽しく観光させていただきました。

I signed up for a day trip bus tour from Nagoya to Hida Takayama and Shirakawa-go during the middle of the three-day weekend. I received an immediate "Tour Confirmation Email."

I did some research beforehand, but the meeting place was easy to find, and I was able to enjoy sightseeing with a diverse group of participants.

Our guide was from China, but was fluent in Japanese and had a very kind personality that shone through.

I appreciated their wonderful attitude in answering questions very politely within their knowledge.

The bus driver was also experienced, adapting to traffic conditions with flexible driving, allowing us to stick to the schedule.

I read all the reviews on Veltra, and my elderly parents were able to enjoy the trip wholeheartedly, so I think doing a little research beforehand can make the experience even more enjoyable.

We had two hours in Hida Takayama and two hours in Shirakawa-go, which I felt was just the right amount of time, not shorter than expected.

Above all, even after buying a lot of souvenirs, we could leave them on the bus, and they made sure to count everyone, so no one was left behind. The travel time was also a big advantage, as we could chat or take a nap and relax.

I would like to participate in another tour next time.

三連休の中日に名古屋発、飛騨高山、白川郷の日帰りバスツアーを申し込みました。
すぐに「催行決定お知らせメール」が届きました。

下調べはしましたが、待ち合わせ場所も分かりやすく、国際色豊かな参加者の皆様と、とても楽しく観光することができました。

ガイドさんは中国の方でしたが、日本語が堪能で、とても優しい人柄がにじみ出ている感じでした。

分かる範囲でとても丁寧に質問に応えて下さる姿勢が素敵でした。

バスの運転手さんもベテランなので、渋滞に合わせた臨機応変の運転で、スケジュール通りに回ることができました。

Veltraの口コミも全て見ましたが、年老いた私の両親も心から楽しんで行ってくることができたので、少し調べて行くと、より楽しく過ごせると思います。

飛騨高山２時間、白川郷２時間の滞在時間でしたが、思ったよりも短くなく、丁度よい時間配分だったと思います。

何より、お土産沢山買ってもバスに置けるし、ちゃんと人数確認してくれるので、置いてきぼりにもなりません。
移動時間はおしゃべりしたり、居眠りしたりと、リラックスして過ごすことができるのも大きなメリットでした。

次回も別のツアーに参加してみたいと思います。

I was a bit worried because there were few Japanese participants, but everyone was punctual, and during the travel, they spoke in a respectful tone, so there were no issues at all. We were able to explore Kamikochi for a solid four hours and returned home earlier than planned. I would like to participate again! ♫

Overall, I was able to enjoy the trip.

However, the person in front of me on the bus reclined their seat too much, making my own seating space feel cramped the entire time.

It might be difficult to address this, but since we have to stay in the same place for several hours, I hope this can be considered as one of the areas for improvement.

まず最初に、ツアーガイドを見つけることができたのは出発の10分前で、遅いと思います。次に、バスの中で強い匂いの食べ物を食べないように、ツアーグループ全体に警告してください！匂いに敏感な人もいます。

ツアー自体はまあまあでした。同じ目的地に戻る場合は、別のツアー会社を探すと思います。

First off, I couldn't locate the tour guide until 10min prior which I think is late. Second, please warn the entire tour group not to consume strong odor food in the bus! Some people are sensitive to smell.

The tour itself was meh. If I go back to the same destination I'd look for a different tour agency.

I was taken only to the places I wanted to go, and I enjoyed my time there with my own free activities✨ It was the best tour!

It was a day tour in a large van instead of a bus. I was a bit anxious since there was no introduction from the travel company, but… perhaps the staff were not Japanese. Two months ago, I used Veltra for a day tour in Australia and had a good experience, so I trusted it. The five Japanese travelers quietly started and relaxed comfortably in the car. It seemed that each person spent two hours in Takayama and Shirakawa-go. If possible, even without any guidance, I think the trip would have been more fulfilling if we had received brochures or maps in advance!

バスでなく、大型のバンでの1日ツアーでした。
旅行会社の名乗りもなく、少し不安でしたが…多分スタッフの方は日本人でなかったのかな…
2ヶ月前にはオーストラリアでの1日ツアーでヴェルトラを使い、よかったので信じておりました。

I was looking for a day trip bus tour from Nagoya to Takayama and Shirakawa-go, and I happened to find and sign up for this one. The guide spoke Japanese, English, and Chinese. Most of the participants were inbound tourists, and I was a bit anxious at first, but everyone had good manners and was polite, so we completed the tour without any issues. There was plenty of time to explore both Takayama and Shirakawa-go, and I really enjoyed it. After all, bus tours are easy and comfortable. It was just the best. Thank you to the lovely guide and driver for taking care of us.

They conduct the tour even for small groups, making it a compact and smooth day trip, and I enjoyed it thoroughly. The guide was dedicated, and the professional driving was safe and appropriately speedy.

少人数でも実施してくれるのでコンパクトでスムーズな日帰り旅行となり、十分に楽しめました。安全かつ適度にスピーディなプロの運転でガイドさんも一生懸命。

I was aiming for Myojin Pond, so I was cutting it close with the round trip time. I would have liked to walk to Tokuzawa if possible, but it was just not feasible time-wise. I would have been happy with an extra hour of stay.

明神池を目指していたので、往復でギリギリの時間でした。
できれば、徳沢まで歩きたかったのですが、時間的にムリ。
滞在時間プラス1時間あれば嬉しかったです。

It was my first time on a tour by microbus. I was scared of the driving. But I had four hours of free time. I think that's enough for me now.

マイクロバスでのツアーは、初めてでした。

I finally made it to Takayama and Shirakawa-go. I was able to visit both places without worrying about transportation, which was a relief. I would have loved a bit more time in Takayama, but it can't be helped. In Shirakawa-go, I was taken to the observation deck, so I didn't have to worry about that either. It was a fulfilling day. The fact that the second person was free as part of the monitor participation was the deciding factor for my final decision. There were also people from overseas. I had a great time.

念願の高山・白川郷へ。交通手段を気にせず安心して二ヵ所を巡ることができました。高山はもう少し時間があれば嬉しかったですが、仕方がないですね。白川郷は、展望台まで連れて行ってく
れたので、これまた心配せずにすみました。充実した１日でした。

In Takayama, I ate Takayama ramen, visited the Jinya, and walked through the old town. The ginjo soft serve was delicious. I got a blister on the way, but the staff at the town's pharmacy were very kind. The scenery of Shirakawa-go was breathtaking. If I have the chance, I would like to visit during the snowy season as well. It was the best day that will remain a lifelong memory. Thank you very much.

高山では、高山ラーメンを食べ、陣屋を見学し、古い町並みを歩きました。吟醸ソフトクリームが美味しかったです。途中靴擦れになりましたが、町の薬局の方がやさしかったです。白川郷の景色は感動的なものでした。機会があれば雪の時期にも行ってみたいです。一生の思い出に残る最高の1日になりました。ありがとうございました。

I wanted to visit Shirakawa-go, but it was far from Nagoya and driving ourselves would be difficult, so we used this bus tour. The two hours of free time in both Takayama and Shirakawa-go was just right. It was helpful to receive recommendations for spots to visit before getting off the bus. 白川郷に行ってみたかったのですが、名古屋から遠く自分達で運転するのは大変なので、こちらのバスツアーを利用しました。

It was a hot day, but I really enjoyed the scenery in Hida Takayama and Shirakawa-go. The blue sky and clouds over the mountains were beautiful, and Takayama was beautifully decorated just before the Tanabata Festival.

Since it was a larger, multinational tour, the guide skillfully used English, Chinese, Korean, and Japanese to share recommendations and efficient routes for each group during the travel time. Thanks to that, I was able to relax and enjoy tea and meals, which made it easier to manage my energy despite the heat.

I also appreciated the care shown, like asking, "Isn't it hot?" from the meeting time. I think it would have been difficult to explore this area on my own in one day, so joining the tour was definitely the right choice. Thank you for your assistance.

暑い日でしたが、飛騨高山も白川郷も景色を楽しめてとても良かったです。
山の青空と雲はとても美しく、また高山はちょうど七夕祭の前で街の飾りがきれいでした。
人数多目、多国籍のツアーだったので、
移動時間中にガイドさんが英語、中国語、ハングル、日本語を駆使して、参加グループごとに、オススメポイントや、効率よく周れるルートを教えてくれました。
おかげで、ゆっくりお茶や食事をすることができて、暑い中でも、体力的に余裕ができました。

また、集合時間の時から「暑くないですか？」など、気遣ってくれているのがありがたかったです。
自分でこの場所を1日で周るのは難しいと思うのでツアーに参加して大正解でした。

This product is a bus charter, not a tour. The differences from a regular bus tour are as follows: 1: Basically, almost all participants are foreigners from Asian countries. Many are quite open to communication, so for those who are sensitive, it's recommended to bring noise-canceling headphones as a precaution. 2: There are no assigned seats, so you may find yourself pushed by those who go ahead without forming a line when boarding. In our case, the seat we tried to take was secured by a Korean family who casually tossed their bag onto it from behind, resulting in us ending up further back than we expected. Additionally, during the two breaks and two stops, if you don't clearly secure your seat, you might find it taken by participants with a different sense of space. 3: I was well aware that there would be no guide, but I feel that those accompanying should at least have some basic knowledge. The young woman who accompanied us (she seemed very shy and kind, with Chinese as her mother tongue, able to communicate in English with basic words, and studying Japanese) bears no responsibility, but if a complete novice is to accompany, the operating company should provide at least basic geographical and historical information materials. 4: Some participants come from countries or regions where time is more relaxed, so don't forget to maintain a certain level of mental flexibility! Lastly, the benefits of participating. In this itinerary, it is possible to travel to the destination from Nagoya by Meitetsu bus, but the convenience of simply clicking to apply is great for busy professionals. If you participate with the mindset that it's a culturally diverse mode of transportation, you won't get upset.

この商品は、ツアーではなくバスのチャーターです。普通のバスツアーと違う点は以下の通り。1：基本的に、参加者はほぼ全員アジア諸国からの外国人です。大らかにコミュニケーションをとる方も多いので、神経質な方はノイズキャンセリングヘッドフォン持参などの対策がお勧めです。2：座席指定がないので、乗車の際に列を作らずグイグイと行く方々に押されがち。私たちの場合、座ろうとした座席を後ろからカバンをポイっと投げた韓国のご家族に確保されてしまい、思ったより後ろの席になってしまいました。また二回の休憩と二回の現地下車の際にわかりやすく自分の席を確保しておかないと、ちょっと感覚の違う参加者に座席を取られてしまいます。3：ガイド同伴でない事は百も承知でしたが、最低限知識がある方でないと同伴者は務まらない気がします。同伴者であった若い女性（とてもシャイで優しそうな方で、中国語は母国語、英語は単語を並べての基礎コミュニケーションに困らない程度、日本語は勉強中と察します）には何の責任もありませんが、全くの素人に同伴させるなら催行会社側は基本的な地理情報や歴史情報などに関する資料を最低限用意するなどもっと配慮が必要かと思います。4：時間にルーズな国や地域の参加者もいるので、ある程度の心の余裕をお忘れなく！最後に、参加したメリット。この旅程の場合、名古屋からなら名鉄バスで自ら目的地を回ることも可能ですが、やはりポチッと申し込むだけで済むというのは忙しい社会人には便利。国際色豊かな交通手段と割り切って参加すれば、腹も立たないですよ。

The tour notice mentioned that "participants from overseas will be joining," but on the day of the tour, I was the only Japanese person among the 18 participants. There were attendees from Taiwan, Hong Kong, and South Korea. I was a bit worried, but everyone was well-mannered, didn't raise their voices, and adhered to the meeting times. I believe the tour company recruiting locally has a good quality of clientele. The guide, who I think was a native Chinese speaker, was also proficient in Japanese, so I had no issues at all. The destination is a bit far, so the bus ride is long, but there were two hours of free time in both Takayama and Shirakawa-go, allowing for a leisurely stroll.

ツアーの注意書きに「海外の方が参加されます」とありますが、当日参加者18名中、日本人は私一人でした。台湾の方・香港の方・韓国の方が参加されていました。ちょっと心配だったのですが、皆さんマナーも良く、大きな声を出すこともなく、集合時間なども順守されていました。おそらく現地で募集されているツアー会社が客質の良い会社なのだと思います。ガイドさんも母国語は中国語の方だと思いますが、日本語もお上手で、何ら困ることはなかったです。目的地まではちょっと距離があるのでバス乗車時間が長いですが、高山・白川郷ともに２時間の自由時間があるので、のんびり散策できました。

I was able to enjoy both locations for a full two hours of free time! During lunch, having an additional 30 minutes would have allowed for a more leisurely stroll.

Both the tour guide and the driver were extremely kind and accommodating. If I had to mention something, it would be that I was a bit concerned about the foreign participants arriving a little late for the meeting time.

強いて言えば、参加した外国人の方が集合時間に少し遅れることが気になったくらいです。

私以外、全員外国の方でした。ガイドさんが3カ国の言葉で案内してくれました。大変な中、本当にありがとうございました。また機会がありましたら、よろしくお願い致します。

The tour to efficiently visit Takayama and Shirakawa-go in one day was great. The tour guide, who managed two countries, was kind and provided detailed explanations to each guest. In Shirakawa-go, it was very helpful when they advised us to take the shuttle bus to the observation deck. However, here's what actually happened at the shuttle bus stop. It was hot and crowded that day, and my family of six was waiting in an orderly manner behind the first five or six tour guests. While we were waiting, more guests continued to line up behind us. Suddenly, a female tour guide from another company (with a red tag labeled LIFE) approached my children and insisted, "Make sure to line up properly behind!" trying to make them join the end of the line of those who had arrived after us. When I protested, saying we had been in line before those guests, she refused to listen, claiming her tour (LIFE) had "priority." Everyone was astonished by this female tour guide's blatant discriminatory treatment of guests from other tours and the general public to favor her own guests. Despite this incident, I am grateful to the tour guide and driver from the tour organized by Veltra. Thank you very much.

高山と白河郷を日帰りで効率的に回るツアーで、良かったです。2カ国を操る添乗員さんが親切でそれぞれの客に丁寧に色々説明しくれました。白河郷では、シャトルバスに乗って展望台迄行くと良いと教えてくれて、大変助かりました。ただ、以下はそのシャトルバス乗り場で実際に起きたこと。当日は暑くかつ混雑していて、バス乗り場で前の5、6人のツアー客の方々に続いて家族6人で整然とシャトルバスを待っていました。待っている間にも私達の後に次々とお客さんが並んで来ます。すると他社のツアー(LIFEという赤いタグを付けておられました)の女性添乗員(30歳くらい)らしき方が、突然私の子供達にむかって、「ちゃんと後ろに並んで！」と私達の後から来られた方々の最後尾に並ばせようとするではありませんか。ちょっと待ってください、私達はこの方々より先に来て並んでますけど、と抗議すると、この添乗員さんは、彼女のツアー(LIFE)が「優先する」からと言って聞き入れませんでした。自分のツアー客を優遇するために他社のツアー客や一般客を露骨に差別的に扱うこの女性添乗員さんには皆さん呆れてました。こんなことがあっても、ベルトラさん企画のこのツアーの添乗員さんと運転手さんには感謝してます。ありがとうございました。

Since it is a tour that visits two famous tourist spots, the stay at each location felt a bit short, but I was able to enjoy it thoroughly.

有名観光地を2箇所巡るツアーなので、若干、それぞれの場所の滞在時間は短い気がしましたが、十分に満喫することができました。
