I wanted to visit Shirakawa-go, but access is difficult if you go on your own, so I made a reservation.
Even on a weekday, it was almost full, with only two Japanese participants. It seemed that all the other participants were Chinese. The guide's explanations were mostly in Chinese.
There was no traffic, and I was able to comfortably reach my desired destination, so I was glad I used this service.

The weather was favorable, and I was able to enjoy the most beautiful scenery. There were about equal numbers of foreigners and Japanese people. The tour proceeded on time. I felt that the two hours of free time in Takayama was a bit short. If you try to see all the recommended spots, there isn't enough time to leisurely look at souvenirs. The guide was not Japanese, but was fluent in both Japanese and English, and was kind and pleasant, which I appreciated. It takes about three hours from Nagoya, and I was able to enjoy the trip without worrying about driving fatigue. I felt that around 7,000 yen during the Obon season was a great deal.

Overall, it was great. Most of the participants were travelers from abroad, with about 70% coming from China. Everyone was well-mannered, adhered to the meeting times, and maintained a quiet atmosphere on the bus, making it a pleasant experience.
The tour guide spoke Chinese, English, and Japanese while providing explanations. Korean audio guidance was also available. The tour guide was kind and had a good demeanor.
Both the driver and the tour guide were excellent. Shirakawa-go and Takayama were also wonderful.

I visited Gujo, Takayama, and Shirakawa-go. Each location had about 1 to 2 hours for exploration and free time, but I thought it would be good to have a list of points I wanted to visit in advance. The shrines were located away from the exploration area, so I couldn't visit them within the time limit. The natural beauty and the atmosphere of each building and town were truly stunning, and I was very moved. I'm really glad I participated.

Most of the participants were from abroad, but the guide was able to communicate in Japanese, so I enjoyed the experience without any worries. Everyone on the bus was quiet, punctual, and followed the rules.
One concern was that the bus was not cleaned properly. There were crumbs of food on the seats, and the windows had what looked like human grease stains on them.

Our guide, Lee, spoke Japanese very fluently and was easy to understand, providing explanations with a map for each family. He informed us in advance about key points and important notes, so we didn't encounter any issues.
On the way from Nagoya Station to Takayama, there was one restroom break at a service area, and there were no breaks from Takayama to Shirakawa-go, but there was one break from Shirakawa-go back to Nagoya Station. Even when we hit traffic, the driver used his knowledge to avoid delays by getting on and off the expressway, allowing us to arrive on time.

It was cloudy, but the wind was cool and comfortable for this time of year. The participants were punctual, so we were able to return an hour early. The guide was kind and cute, and the driver was skilled. I have no complaints; it was fun. By the way, there were about five Japanese people.

I was looking for tourist spots in Nagoya that I could visit before the night bus departure, and the timing and price were just right, so I decided to join as a solo participant. As the reviews mentioned, it was mostly a tour for international travelers, with about 40 people, and only three of us were Japanese.

The couple's rocks and the lower shrine had a stay of about 40 minutes, which was just the right amount of time. At the inner shrine, we stayed for 3 hours and opted for a free plan without meals. We were able to enjoy various foods and take our time with the worship. The bus seemed a bit cramped for the men, but it was nice to have a break at the service area, and there was no traffic on the weekend after Golden Week, so it wasn't tiring. I was able to visit Amano Iwato, which is not easily accessible by train alone. When I toured Ise Jingu by train last January, I had trouble moving from the outer shrine to the inner shrine because the bus from the outer shrine was crowded, and I had to wait for a bus when trying to board from Ise City Station. Additionally, when trying to take a bus from the inner shrine to Isuzugawa Station, it was necessary to line up early and wait. Since it was a tour, I didn't have to worry about any of that and could relax while moving on the bus. The lunch spots were also crowded, and I had to wait in line, but I was able to have lunch before visiting the inner shrine without any hassle. The tekone sushi and Ise udon were delicious. I had plenty of time for the inner shrine visit, so I was also able to go to Sarutahiko Shrine. The bus crew's stories were very interesting, and they shared information about what was good to see and where the highlights were, which made shopping easy without any confusion. 電車だけだとなかなか行けない天の岩戸にも行くことができました。昨年1月に電車で伊勢神宮を回ったとき、外宮から内宮の移動では、外宮のバス停からだとバスの車内が混んでいて乗ることができなかったり、伊勢市駅前から乗車しようとしても1本見送らないとならなかったりしました。また内宮からバスで五十鈴川駅へ行こうとしても早めに並んで待つことも必要でした。ツアーだったのでその心配が全くなくバスの中で休みながら移動することができました。お昼のお店も混み合っていて行列に並ばないとならなかったりするのですが、それもなく内宮参拝前に昼食をとることができました。てこね寿司と伊勢うどんも美味しかったです。内宮参拝時間がたっぷりあったので、猿田彦神社へも行くことができました。バスの乗務員さんのお話もとても面白く、どこの何がいいとかどこが見所かなど教えていただき、迷わず買い物ができました。本当にありがとうございました。

It was my first time in Kamikochi, and it truly lived up to its reputation as a famous scenic spot in Japan. Thank you to both the driver and the guide for their hard work. They were very skilled, which made me feel at ease during the trip. I definitely want to use their services again. There were mostly foreign tourists, but thanks to the guide's instructions, it was a good trip where everyone followed the rules. In fact, it was the Japanese tourists who caused some issues.

This was my first time visiting Takayama and Shirakawa-go. It was a one-day course departing from and returning to Nagoya. The tour guide and the bus driver were wonderful, making the journey comfortable both ways. Just before arrival, the tour guide wrote notes on a map and explained it to each group. The driver was always smiling and had a great vibe.
As for the sightseeing spots, I can say they are "a must-visit at least once in your life." Especially in Shirakawa-go, I recommend the "interior tours" at several houses. I visited Meizenji, and it was incredibly fascinating to see the depth of history and culture!
