Winter is really cold, but the air is clear, so the city of Hakata looks very beautiful. I definitely think it's better to choose the 45-minute course for an additional 500 yen. To be honest, I didn't have high expectations for the atmosphere while waiting to board the ship. The reception was rather rough, and they seemed more focused on selling alcohol. However, once we got on the ship, there was live music, we went out further into the sea than I expected, and everyone sang together, creating a sense of unity. It turned out to be a lot of fun. My family of four participated, and everyone said they were glad they joined.

I have been to Fukuoka many times, but I thought there weren't many tourist spots, so I searched for various activities and found the river cruise. Since my main enjoyment in Fukuoka is definitely eating, I had already planned my schedule for after dinner, and since I could book for any departure on the reserved day without a specific time, I participated in the cruise that departed at 4 PM. I think the boat can accommodate about 20 people, and it was almost full. We went up to Canal City, turned around, and headed out to sea. During this time, a musician provided commentary while playing and singing, but it wasn't constant singing or talking, which was a nice balance. Since the cruise is affected by the weather, this time the conditions were perfect, and it hardly swayed, so I think families with small children can enjoy it as well. Next time, I definitely want to take the cruise at a time when I can see the night view.
福岡には何度も行っているのですが、あまり観光する場所が無いな～と思い色々検索していたら、リバークルーズがでてきました。福岡での楽しみはやっぱり食べる事だったので、夕食以降の予定はすでに組んでおりハッキリした時間が決められなくても予約した日の何便でも構わないと言う事で、ちょうど空いた時間（16時出航）に参加しました。乗船できる人数は20名程度かと思いますが、ほぼ満席でした。キャナルシティの前まで行きUターンして海へ出て、その間ミュージシャンの方が弾き語りをしながら観光案内をしてくれるのですが、ずっと歌ったり喋ったりしているのではなく丁度いい加減でのパフォーマンスなのでそこが良い点でした。船の場合は天候に左右されますが今回は絶好のクルーズ日和でほとんど揺れなかったので、小さいお子さん連れでも楽しめると思います。次回はぜひ夜景が観られる時間に乗船したいと思います。

I used this service during a family trip to Fukuoka. It was cold on a December night, but they provided blankets, allowing us to comfortably enjoy the night view of Hakata. Since it had just stopped raining during the day, there were no other passengers, and it ended up being a private ride for our family of four!
However, since we had another appointment, we arrived with about 50 minutes to spare, but we found out that the next departure was about an hour later. It was cutting it very close. I had underestimated the schedule, thinking that since each trip is 30 minutes, there would be departures every 30 minutes. We were at a loss and discussed as a family how to adjust our plans for the next day or what to do until our next appointment.
About 10 minutes later, a staff member rushed over and said, "We're going to send out a special trip now!" It was a lifesaver! I am very grateful for their flexible response! Thank you very much.
According to the staff, "It's best to confirm the departure times by phone in advance." If that's the case, I wish that information had been included in the recruitment details or the voucher.

途方に暮れその場で、翌日の予定を調整できるか、次の予定迄どうするかなど家族で話し合っていました。
10分くらいした頃、係りの方が駆け寄って来て、「今から臨時便を出します。」とのこと！
助かりました！柔軟な対応にとても感謝です！ありがとうございました。
係りの方が言うには「出航時刻は事前に電話で確認してもらうと確実です。」とのこと。
そうなら、そのことを募集要項(?)やバウチャーに書いておいてほしかったです。

I participated in the 6:00 PM Hakata Bay cruise. There were only three participants, including myself. Thanks to that, I felt safe and was able to relax. Although it was a bit early for the night view, we were able to see a beautiful sunset. The view of Hakata Tower, Fukuoka Tower, and PayPay Dome from the sea is quite different from what you see from land. I would like to see the night view next time.

I was able to see the distant night view from the river to the sea, including the Port Tower and Bayside Place.
However, it was difficult to make plans because the departure was not on time, and half of the passengers were not wearing masks. The passengers who were not wearing masks sang along with the guide's enthusiastic performance, which made me anxious about the risk of COVID-19 and distracted me from enjoying the night view. There was also no briefing on life jackets, making it an unsettling cruise. The saxophone performance I heard in the waiting area before departure was wonderful.

It was just a little over 30 minutes, but it was a nice cruise that also served as an evening cool-down. We started by going up the river where the food stalls were beginning to set up, and then headed out to sea. On Tuesday, October 27th, around 6 PM, I visited Hakata for work and used the service alone. The timing was perfect as the sun was setting, and the illuminated signs reflecting on the river and the night view were very beautiful. A female singer performed in front of us, creating a wonderful atmosphere. I thought the 30-minute cruise would only go along the Nakasu River, but we actually ventured out towards the sea, which made it quite windy and cold. I traveled to Fukuoka for a one-night, two-day trip with a friend. I thought we would just be on the boat for about 30 minutes, but we were actually comforted by the singing of a 23-year-old guy who sang songs by Machaaaki and Ichiro Toba. The reason it wasn't perfect was that it was unexpectedly cold on the boat. Even with a blanket, I was shivering for 30 minutes in late October. But it was really great.

Originally, my husband and I were supposed to participate together, but since I caught a cold, I ended up going alone.
On the boat, there was someone who sang and provided a brief explanation of the town while singing. It was nice and warmed me up from the cold.
Maybe it started from New Year's? The sea seemed to have less light.
