I have been traveling for business and have had the opportunity to do tourist activities. I’m frankly tired of Tokyo (but I love it). This tour allowed me to experience a different part of Japan. We were picked up at the Shinkansen station and shuttled over to base camp. Yazu was our host and spoke excellent English. He reminds me of an American “dude”. So laid back but made sure we were safe. We were outfitted with wetsuit, helmet, and life jacket the loaded up in a bus to got upstream. The scenery was stunning and just beautiful. Rafting was SUPER fun!! Yazu was very good with directions and even encouraged us to try different parts of the raft (for the record- sit in back - it rocks). The kappa club does a good job and takes photos and videos of you as you’re going down stream. For about $5, you get the photos on a cd - so worth it. THIS was a great experience- highly recommended
