I participated with my son, who is in his first year of junior high school, and my husband. Highly recommended! This tour is a must if you want to experience Shiretoko, as it takes you to places you can't visit on your own!

In the morning, we toured five lakes, and in the afternoon, we went trekking in the primeval forest, which was packed with activities. Initially, I was worried about my child's stamina, but since he loves biology, I really wanted him to join the trekking in the untouched primeval forest. I managed to convince my family to book the tour, and finally, the day arrived.

Our guide had over 15 years of experience, as mentioned in the tour details. In the morning, he engaged the children from two other families with lots of quizzes while we enjoyed trekking. It was a popular tourist spot, so there were many visitors, but everyone walked quietly, allowing us to listen to the sounds of birds, cicadas, and the wind, making the trekking experience very pleasant in nature.

In the afternoon, during the primeval forest trekking, we learned about deer and bear parenting and how trees grow in the forest. We even encountered a three-generation family of deer! It’s rare to see deer nowadays, so we felt lucky to have this encounter! Additionally, we were able to view the male waterfall from the cliffs, which can only be seen from a sightseeing boat, and we passed through areas where deer survive the winter, experiencing the grandeur of Shiretoko's nature.

This kind of experience is something you shouldn't miss at least once in your lifetime! Be sure to enjoy a full day tour of Shiretoko!

中学一年生の息子、主人と参加しました。
超お奨め！個人では行けないところにいけるので、知床を知るならぜったいお奨めツアーです！
午前中は5湖巡り、午後は原生林のトレッキングと超もりだくさん。
予約当初は子供の体力が心配だったものの、生物好きの子供には手付かずの原生林のトレッキングはぜひ参加させたかったので、ツアー予約を家族に納得してもらい、いよいよ当日。
ガイドさんはツアー詳細の通り15年以上の経験豊富なガイドさんで、午前中はほか2家族の子供達にたくさんのクイズを出し楽しみながらトレッキング、さすがに観光スポットだけあってたくさんの方が訪れていましたが、皆さん静かに歩いていたので鳥やセミに鳴き声や風の音を聴きながらのトレッキングだったので自然の心地良さを味合いました。
午後は原生林のトレッキングでシカや熊の子育てや原生林の木の生え方など丁寧に教えていただきました。
原生林では、なんとシカの3世代家族に遭遇！
今は滅多にシカに遭遇することがないこととにことでしたが、3世代家族に遭遇してラッキー！
また、遊覧船でしか観れない男滝を断崖から臨めたり、シカが冬を越す生活の場も通ったり、と知床の壮大な自然を体験することができました。

こんな体験、一生に一度はしないと損！

I had a great opportunity to learn about the ecology of plants and animals from the guide, who provided detailed and enjoyable explanations that helped us notice things we wouldn't have on our own. Additionally, the breathtaking views in places that we could only access with the guide were truly remarkable. We also got some wonderful photos at the photo spots, and I am really satisfied with the experience. I would love to participate again in a different season.

ガイドさんから丁寧に植物や動物の生態などの解説を楽しく聞けたことで、自分達では気づかないことを知る機会となり良かったです。また、ガイドさんなしでは入れない場所はやはり絶景でした。写真スポットでは素敵な写真も撮っていただき、本当に満足しています。
シーズンを変えて再度参加したいと思いました。

I was able to hear fascinating stories about the habits of bears and deer, as well as plants and insects during the walk, and I felt the charm of Shiretoko Five Lakes that I wouldn't have noticed on my own.

クマや鹿の習性、植物や昆虫のことまで散策の中で興味深いお話を聞くことができ、個人では気がつかことのできない知床五湖の良さを感じることが出来ました。

When exploring the Shiretoko Five Lakes, I debated whether to take the elevated path or go all the way around, but choosing the full loop was the right decision. Walking through the forest, I was able to take my time to see all five lakes and even encountered Ezo deer. Although I didn't see any brown bears, I was able to spot many signs of their presence, like claw marks.

There were many experiences that I couldn't have had on the elevated path.

知床五胡をめぐる際、高架のみか全周するか悩みましたが全周にして正解でした。
森の中を歩き五湖全てもゆっくり見て蝦夷シカにも遭遇、ヒグマはいなかったけど爪痕などの痕跡をたくさん見ることができました。

高架では体験できないものがたくさんありました。

With a guide who has 19 years of experience, I truly felt it was worth participating in this tour.

When the guide claps their hands and calls out, there’s a sense of tension, and you realize that the extraordinary exists in reality.

Personally, I was thrilled to see a Japanese bush warbler and to realize it wasn't actually warbler-colored. It was my first time seeing it while it was singing "ho-ho-ke-kyo," and I was deeply moved.

If you participate in the tour, definitely ask any questions you have; it really enhances the experience.

The guide also stayed until the very end without cutting the time short, which showed their kindness.

It seems that if a brown bear does appear, the tour may be canceled, but that's not the guide's responsibility; it can happen with other companies as well.

However, if you want to experience the tension of encountering a brown bear while walking in the forest, that’s also an option. The guide is trained in safety measures, even if you encounter a brown bear.

参加して良かったとホントに思いました。

パンパンと手を鳴らして　ホイホイ！とやるときは　緊張感が漂い
非日常が現実にあるんだと実感します。

個人的には　鶯の姿が見れて、鶯色ではないこと
ホーホケキョと鳴いてる姿を初めて見て感激しました。

ツアーに参加したら是非疑問に思ったことを質問すると参加の意味がぐっと増します。

時間も早上がりせずにギリギリまでガイドしてくれて人の好さが感じられました。

ホントにヒグマが出たらツアー中止になる場合もあるそうですが
それは、ガイドさんの責任ではなく、他の会社でもあり得ることです。

でも、森を歩いていてヒグマに遭遇する緊張感を味わうならそれもありです。
ヒグマに出会っても安全対策されてるガイドさんなのですから。

Well, just as we were about to depart, a bear appeared, so the tour was canceled. It's a shame because the guide was great.

さあこれから出発！という時に熊が出たということでツアーは中止。ガイドさんが良かっただけに残念でした。

On June 22, I was able to experience a three-hour course. I was a bit anxious about the information from the guide who departed before us regarding "bear sightings," wondering if we might have to turn back. However, thanks to the guide's appropriate advice and guidance, the explanations about animals, birds, and plants made the experience enjoyable and extended beyond three hours. In the end, we were lucky to encounter an Ezo deer, and although we didn't see a bear, I was surprised to learn about fresh footprints and that they had walked near this course that morning. The footprints were quite vivid.

There were five participants, and we all got along well, concluding with a group photo before parting ways. Thank you to the guide for sending that photo later. I highly recommend this tour.

6/22に3時間コース体験出来ました。
私達の前の時間に出発されたガイドさんからの「熊出没」の情報に途中引き返し有りかな？と不安で出発しました。しかし、ガイドさんの適切なアドバイスと案内で動物、野鳥、植物の説明が楽しく3時間をオーバーする内容となりました。結果エゾシカに遭遇ラッキー、熊には遭遇しませんでしたが、足跡が生々しく今日の朝このコースの近くを歩いたとの説明にビックリマークでした。足跡さえ生々しかったです。
参加者5名和気あいあいで最後は集合写真を撮って頂いての解散となりました。その写真もガイドさんが後日送って頂いてありがとうございました。お薦めツアーです。

The exploration of the Shiretoko Five Lakes was amazing!! I learned the idea that "we humans are just a little intruders in the great nature where animals and plants are the main characters." We took three hours to walk the 3-kilometer trail, which allowed us plenty of time to take photos and listen to the guide's explanations, making for a relaxed and enjoyable experience. Seeing the footprints and claw marks of the brown bears was thrilling, and I felt both excited about the possibility of encountering one and eager to see them from a distance.

知床五湖の散策、最高でした！！
「動物や植物が主役の大自然に、私たち人間がちょっとお邪魔させていただく」という考え方をまず教わりました。
３キロの遊歩道を３時間かけて散策という事で、写真を撮る時間やガイドさんの案内を聞く時間など、余裕のある散策で楽しめました。
ヒグマの足跡や爪跡を見て、遭遇したらどうしようというドキドキと、遠くなら見てみたいというワクワクで楽しめました。

I was glad to see the Ezo haruzemi (a type of cicada). The guide was also easy to understand and kind. It was a bit cold, but I felt the forest was just too beautiful!

エゾハルゼミがみられたから良かったです。またガイドもわかりやすく親切でした。ちょっと寒かったけど、森林が綺麗すぎ〜と感じました。

The guide provided a safe and thorough experience, creating wonderful memories!

I was worried that I might not be able to visit all five lakes due to bad weather the day before, but I was able to visit them all!

Also, the trekking in the afternoon allowed us to see stunning views and wildlife, which made me very satisfied!

The guide provided detailed explanations about the animals and each lake, and was kind enough to answer our questions!

I hope to come back during the autumn foliage season if I have the time.

The weather was rainy and bad, but I was able to enjoy a mystical view shrouded in mist. The guide's stories were fascinating; it wasn't just a walk, as they talked about the plants and animals, which was educational. They were also kind enough to take photos for us, showing their thoughtfulness. I would like to participate again during a greener season.

天気は雨で悪かったのですが、モヤがかかって幻想的な景色を味わえました。
ガイドさんの話は興味深く、ただ歩くだけではなく植物、動物について話してくれ勉強になりました。
写真も親切に撮ってくれたり気遣いが感じられました。また、緑の多い時期に参加したいです。

I enjoyed the beautiful scenery of Shiretoko Five Lakes. The explanations from our guide, Ayano, were very easy to understand, which made the hike even more enjoyable.

I received detailed and polite guidance, and I was able to enjoy star observation. Since it was almost a full moon, the moonlight was dazzling, but I was still able to see various stars clearly. Next time, I would like to aim for a new moon and observe the Milky Way! Thank you very much.

In the morning, we visited the salmon run and Lake Shiretoko One and Two, as part of the walking path was under construction. We watched the sorting of salmon caught in the fixed nets at the fishing port and saw the salmon targeted by anglers in the sea just before they swim upstream (they weren't caught, though). I observed the salmon struggling to give their all in the river to leave behind their offspring.

I felt sympathy for the harsh fate of the salmon, but I also respected their determination to fight until the end. Lake Shiretoko Five was incredibly beautiful. It was a time when birds weren't chirping much, and with fewer people around due to weekdays and the pandemic, it was surprisingly quiet, which was very soothing.

In the afternoon, we explored the primeval forest. The pleasant scents of the Abies sachalinensis and Magnolia were calming, and as we walked along the soft, leaf-littered paths of the quiet forest, we occasionally sensed the presence of wildlife and were able to see black woodpeckers, chipmunks, and Ezo deer. I was moved to be able to see the expressions of distant animals through the binoculars that were lent to us.

Not only did we enjoy the forest, but we also saw waterfalls and breathtaking views from cliffs along the way, allowing us to take many great photos. Especially in the afternoon, we visited places we wouldn't have gone to on our own, and the detailed explanations provided made it clear that there was so much more to learn than just walking. As a novice, I might not have even noticed the signs of wildlife and would have thought, "There’s nothing in this forest..."

I felt like I had seen most of Hokkaido's animals at Maruyama Zoo before, but I truly realized how wonderful wildlife is. We even spotted a mother brown bear and her cubs, as well as a white-tailed eagle in the distance, making it a fulfilling day. The path was relatively flat, so it didn't require much physical strength, and it was a bonus that there were only a few of us. I would love to walk the same path in a different season.

遊歩道が一部工事中だったので、午前中は鮭の遡上と知床一湖・二湖でした。漁港の鮭テラスで定置網に引っかかった鮭の仕分けを見て、川を遡上する手前の海で釣り人達に狙われる鮭を見て(釣られてなかったけど)、川で最後の命を振り絞り子孫を残そうとする鮭さん達を見ました。
鮭の過酷な運命に同情してしまいましたが、最後まで戦う姿勢で生き抜く鮭は凄いなと尊敬してしまいました。
知床五湖は凄く綺麗でした。鳥があまり鳴かない時期だそうで人も平日とコロナ禍で少なく、驚く程に静かで凄くそれに癒されました。
午後は原生林でした。良い匂いのするトドマツやホオノキの匂いに癒されつつ静かな森のフカフカの腐葉土の道なき道を歩いていくと、時々生き物の気配がしてクマゲラやシマリス、エゾシカなど見ることが出来ました。双眼鏡を貸して頂いていたので、遠くの動物の表情まで見られて感動でした。
森だけでなく途中で滝を見たり崖からの絶景を見たりもして、良い写真がたくさん撮れました。
特に午後の方は自力ではまず行かない所で、詳しい解説があるからこそただ歩くだけでは全く分からないことが教えてもらえて良かったです。素人だとそもそも動物の気配に気付けず、この森何もいないな…と思って終わりそうです。
以前行った円山動物園で北海道の動物は大体見たような気でいましたが、やはり野生は良いなと実感しました。
途中遠目にヒグマの親子やオジロワシまで見られて盛り沢山の一日でした。
アップダウンがない道でそれほど体力も必要なかったですしたまたまですが少人数だったのも良かったです。
また違う季節にも同じ道を歩いてみたいと思いました。

I live in Hokkaido.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I started doing solo car camping within the region, and when I thought about exploring the Shiretoko Five Lakes, I was really worried about bear encounters, so I decided to join this tour.
My main purpose was to avoid bears, but the guide provided a lot of information that will be helpful for my future solo travels.
Thanks to this, I was able to enjoy exploring the Shiretoko Five Lakes with peace of mind!

コロナ禍のタイミングで道内のソロ車中泊をするようになり、知床五湖散策を考えた時どうしても熊出没の心配があったので、今回のツアーに参加させていただきました。
熊避けだけの目的でしたが、ガイドさんのレクチャーはこれからのソロ旅に役立ちそうな情報も沢山ありました。

On the day of our reservation, it was reported that a brown bear appeared early in the course, and the tour ended in no time! Since we had some extra time, we were able to reschedule for the same tour the following morning.

The next day, in the refreshing morning right after the park opened, my friend, the guide, and I leisurely toured the five lakes. Our guide, Ayano, was very knowledgeable about animals, plants, flowers, and even the history of the five lakes tourism, making the explanations enjoyable and extremely interesting. We also looked at distant herons and deer through binoculars that were lent to us for free. I was particularly happy when I spotted a hazel grouse by sound and was praised for finding such a rare sight.

We were blessed with good weather, and the fun time flew by. I hope to have the opportunity to join the star tour, which I heard Ayano is particularly skilled at, next time.

予約した当日は、開始早々にコ－ス内にヒグマが現れたとのことで、あっという間に終了！時間に余裕のあった私達は、翌朝の同ツア－に振替えとなりました。
翌日は開園早々の清々しい午前中、友人と私そしてガイドさんの三人でゆっくり五湖を巡ることになりました。ガイドの綾野さんは動物、草木や花、はたまた五湖観光の歴史等知識が豊富で、説明が楽しく、非常に興味深かったです。また無料で貸していただいた双眼鏡から遠くのサギやシカを眺めました。とりわけ私が音で気が付き、何かを尋ねたエゾライチョウを見つけた時は貴重だとほめてもらい、嬉しかったです。
天候にも恵まれ、楽しい時間はあっという間に終わりました。次回は綾野さんが最も得意とお聞きした星のツア－に参加する機会があればと思います。

I participated in mid-September, and the views from the five lakes were breathtaking, overlooking Shiretoko Peninsula. I was able to encounter various plants and animals, and I was extremely satisfied! It became the best memory. The guide's explanations about the flora and fauna were easy to understand. Before joining the tour, I had zero knowledge about Shiretoko, but I feel that my understanding deepened throughout the day. It was my first time using binoculars, and the thorough briefing beforehand was very helpful. When I finally saw the wildlife, I was moved by their power! The photos taken by the guide were all beautiful, and I think it's because they know Shiretoko so well. When I visit Shiretoko again, I definitely want to join the same tour!

9月中旬に参加、五つの湖からの絶景、知床岬を望む景色、さまざまな動植物にも出会うことができ、大満足‼︎最高の思い出になりました。

I participated with my daughter. We requested the afternoon tour, and the weather was nice, making it a perfect ending. It was our first guided tour, and the guide shared many highlights, making the three hours fly by. Thank you for patiently accompanying my daughter, who was thrilled to spot a deer. It was a wonderful location, and it became a memorable trip.

娘と2人で参加しました。午後からのツアーをお願いしましたが、お天気も良く最後でした。ガイドツアーは初めてでしたが、見どころなど教えて頂き、３時間あっという間でした。鹿をみつけて感動する娘にゆっくり付き合っていただきありがとうございました。素晴らしいロケーションでもあり、思い出深い旅になりました。

The weather was nice, and the views were always stunning. I was captivated by Rausu-dake, the Sea of Okhotsk, and the Sakhalin fir, feeling like I wanted to gaze at them forever, as if time wasn't enough. I didn't encounter many animals, but at the very end of the tour, I got to see the natural monument, the Black Woodpecker! Since we walked on paths without trails, I think it's important to wear clothing that covers your skin, as mentioned in the precautions. It became a wonderful memory.

天気が良かったこともあり、常に最高の景色でした。
羅臼岳やオホーツク海、トドマツに目を奪われて、時間が足りないくらいずーっと眺めていたいと感じました。
動物にはあまり会えなかったですが、ツアーの最後の最後に天然記念物のクマゲラに会えました！！
道なき道を歩いたりもするので、注意事項に書いてあった通り肌を出さない服装をしてくることが重要だと思います。
素敵な思い出になりました。

I participated in mid-August. The weather was cloudy with occasional rain, and there were some light showers. The temperature was around 16°C, which felt a bit chilly, but it was comfortable for me coming from Tokyo.

In the morning, I joined a group of nearly 10 people and we walked around the five lakes (participants who only joined for the morning disbanded here). In the afternoon, we went trekking in the primeval forest. There were no walking paths in the forest, and it was challenging to navigate the animal trails, but it was fun. I encountered wild Ezo deer several times. The leaves were starting to change color, and I thought it would be nice to visit again in a different season.

8月中旬に参加。
天気は曇り時々雨、たまに小雨の日でした。気温は16℃と少し肌寒さを感じる位でしたが、東京から来ていた自分にとっては快適でした。
午前中は10名弱のグループで五湖をぐるっと周り(午前中のみの参加者はここで解散)、午後は原生林をトレッキングしました。原生林は遊歩道はなく、獣道を進んでいくのが大変だけど楽しかった。野生のエゾシカに何度か遭遇しました。葉が色づき始めていて、また違う季節にも訪れてみたいなと思いました。

I think the quality of this type of tour really depends on the guide, and I believe that Miura, who attended us this time, is one of the best guides.

In the evening, we went to a restaurant bar called Piccadilly in Utoro, and that was also fantastic!

I will definitely visit again the next time I come to Utoro.

この手のツアーはガイドさん次第かなと思うのですが、今回アテンド頂きました三浦さんは最高のガイドさんの1人ではないかと思います。

夜はウトロでピカデリックというレストランバーをやられてて、そちらも最高でした♪

In the morning, we spent three hours at Shiretoko Five Lakes. Although it was a time when we could enter without a guide, having one made the experience enjoyable with explanations about the flora and fauna, as well as quizzes. For lunch, we chose a restaurant from the recommended places around the Utoro roadside station. In the afternoon, we went on a three-hour trekking adventure on a wild animal path. The guide stopped every few minutes to provide explanations, so we were able to walk comfortably without getting out of breath. Although it was a six-hour trek in total, including the time for explanations, I think it's a tour that anyone can enjoy, even if they're not very confident in their physical fitness. We also searched for mushrooms and took photos of deer and squirrels along the way, making it a fulfilling tour. It may be common knowledge, but I think it's a good idea to bring a portable toilet. Since it was early September, it wasn't cold, but I recommend wearing long sleeves and long pants because of the grass. I included photos that don't spoil the experience.

朝は3時間の知床五湖。ガイドさん不要でも入れる時期でしたが、ガイドさんがいることで動植物の説明やクイズなどがあり楽しく歩くことができました。昼食はウトロの道の駅周辺のおすすめ店から1店を選び各自食事。昼からは3時間の獣道トレッキングでした。数分間に1回ガイドさんが立ち止まり説明をしてくれるので、1回も息があがらず快適に歩けました。朝昼6時間トレッキングですが、説明の時間もあるので、体力に自信がなくても大丈夫なツアーだと思います。途中でキノコを探したり、鹿やリスなどの写真を撮ったり、充実のツアーでした。常識かもわかりませんが、携帯用トイレは持って行くべきだと思いました。9月初旬だったので寒くはなかったのですが、草が生えているので長袖長ズボンが良いと思います。写真はネタバレしないものを載せました。

In the morning, I took a round trip around Shiretoko Five Lakes, and thanks to the favorable weather, I was able to see some truly wonderful scenery. In the afternoon, I went trekking in the primeval forest, exploring animal trails that differ from the walking paths. Although some areas were difficult to walk due to being unmaintained, I felt a closer connection to the forest and encountered beautiful views and many sights. Along the way, the guide shared various information about the creatures, plants, forest, and history of Shiretoko in a detailed manner, allowing me to learn many things I wouldn't have noticed if I had just wandered alone. I had a very enjoyable and fulfilling time. If I had more time, I would have loved to visit again. I plan to come back to Shiretoko.

午前は知床五湖を一周、天候に恵まれたこともあり、とてもすばらしい景色を見ることができました。
午後は原生林トレッキングとして、遊歩道とは異なる獣道を散策、整備されていない分歩きにくいところもありますが、より森らしさを近く感じられ、素敵な景色とたくさん出会えました。
道中はガイドの方が知床の生き物、植物、森、歴史などのさまざまなことを丁寧に話してくださり、自分1人で散策するだけでは気づけないことをたくさん知ることができ、とても楽しく充実した時間を過ごせました。
時間に余裕があればもう一度訪れたかったくらいです。
また知床に来ようと思います。

In the morning, after the lecture, I entered the Shiretoko Five Lakes area, but after about 100 meters, we received information through the guide's radio that a bear had been spotted at the lakes. We quickly turned back to the entrance and changed our plans to go trekking in the afternoon, visiting Shiretoko Five Lakes then. The guide provided the necessary explanations, but to be honest, I wished there had been more detailed information that someone knowledgeable could have shared without me having to ask questions. The trekking course included places that are hard to access on your own, which was very nice. If I participate again, since this is not a cheap tour, I would want to choose a guide with higher reviews.

午前中、知床五湖を訪れようとレクチャー後に入り口を入りましたが100メートルほどでガイドさんの無線機に熊が五湖で出たと言う情報が入りました。すぐに入り口に引き返し午後予定されていたトレッキングに急遽変更となり、午後知床5湖を訪れました。ガイドさんの説明は必要な分はありましたが欲を言うと、こちらから質問しなくても、もう少し詳しく勉強している方だからこそ知っている情報をもっといろいろ知りたかったです。トレッキングのコースは自分ではなかなか行けない場所もありとてもよかったです。次回参加するとすれば、安いツアーではないので口コミ評価のもっと高いガイドさんを選びたいと思ってしまいます。

I was able to stroll through the clear Shiretoko Five Lakes while receiving explanations from a guide who is well-versed in the conditions of the Shiretoko Peninsula, knowledge that cannot be gained from guidebooks or books. Although I have climbed quite a few mountains, primarily in the Northern Alps, I felt a deeper connection to nature. Thank you very much.

ガイドブックや本の知識からでは得られない知床半島の状況を熟知したガイドさんに、3時間ほど説明を受けながら快晴の知床五湖を散策できました。北アルプスを中心にかなりの山に登っている者ですが、自然により深く触れられた感じがしました。ありがとうございました。

The guide, Ayano, was indeed a veteran as mentioned in the reviews, and we had a fun time exploring. She taught us various things, including information about bears and deer, how to determine the age of plants, and that in case of getting lost, it's good to eat the leaves and fruits of thorny plants. The binoculars were fantastic; they were ready to use without needing to adjust the focus, and I was thrilled to see faraway sights clearly.

It seems that during the hot summer, bears tend to wander near the roads around Shiretoko Goko in the evening, so I thought I would drive there during that time on my next visit. On the way back, I was quite happy to see a mother bear and her cubs at the Iwaubetsu River, although unfortunately, they didn't catch any salmon. Thank you for pointing out the viewing spots from the top of the cliff.

ガイドの綾野さんは口コミ通りベテランで楽しく散策できました。
熊や鹿の情報情報はもちろん、植物の年齢の見方や、遭難した時はトゲのある植物の葉っぱや実を食べると良いこと等様々なことを教えていただきました。
双眼鏡が素晴らしくピントを自分で調整しなくてもすぐ使え遠くがはっきりと見え感激しました。
熊さんは暑い夏は夕方知床五湖の近くの道路付近をうろうろしているらしく、次回行く時はその時間帯にドライブしてみようと思いました。
帰り道イワウベツ川に鮭を捕りに来た熊さん母子が見れてかなり嬉しかったです。残念ながら鮭は捕れませんでしたが。崖の上から見えるポイントを教えていただきありがとうございました。

I received a message the day before, and they picked me up at the hotel. The walking tour lasted three hours in the morning and three hours in the afternoon, and as it is called a walking tour, it was a leisurely stroll that children and older participants could join. We were blessed with good weather, and the guide provided detailed explanations, showcasing the wonderful scenery of Shiretoko and the animals we encountered by chance, making it a very fulfilling tour. The only disappointment was that we couldn't see any bears. I thought it would be nice to participate in a different season as well.

For lunch, we returned to Utoro, where the guide introduced us to a recommended restaurant. By the way, I had a seafood bowl.

前日に連絡があり、ホテルにピックアップしてくれました。午前3時間、午後3時間のウォーキングですが、ウォーキングと言うだけあって、のんびり散策できお子さん、年齢が高い方も参加できるのではないでしょうか。天気にも恵まれ、ガイドさんの丁寧な説明、素晴らしい知床の景色、偶然出会う動物などとても充実したツアーでした。残念なことは熊を見ることができなかったことくらいです。また、違う季節で参加しても良いと思いました。
お昼はウトロまで戻り、ガイドさんがおすすめの店を紹介してくれます。ちなみに私は海鮮丼を食べました。

Despite the heavy rain on the day of the tour, which caused the road to Shiretoko Goko to be closed and led to changes in the itinerary, the guide, Ayano, was incredibly flexible and responsive. I am truly grateful for her assistance. It was a good decision to request rubber boots in anticipation of the rain. Thanks to that, even when it started to rain during the walk, I was able to walk steadily without slipping. There were fallen trees throughout the area to preserve nature, and I learned that these fallen trees play an important role in the natural cycle, awakening my awareness of the forest's vitality. This is a place that you might pass by without noticing, so I highly recommend taking a guided tour. The weather affected the scenery, so I rated it as "good," but the content was undoubtedly "excellent!" Thank you very much.

当日大雨で知床五湖への道が通行止めになってツアーが変更になったり、その後開通してまた当初のツアーに戻ったり、アクシデント続きでしたが、その都度柔軟に対応してくださり、ガイドの綾野さんには感謝しかありません。雨を予想して長靴をリクエストしておいて正解でした。おかげさまで途中で雨が降ってきても滑らず順調に歩けました。自然のままに保存するためあちこちに倒木がありましたが、倒木にも自然のサイクルの中で重要な役割があることを教えていただき、森の生命力の強さに目が覚めた思いでした。知らなければ通り過ぎてしまうところでしたが、ここは是非ガイド付きのツアーをお勧めします。天候に左右されて景色はいまいちだったので評価は「よかった」ですが、内容は文句なく「最高！」です。ありがとうございました。

I was able to fully enjoy Shiretoko in just one day. I was moved to encounter wild deer and squirrels! The guide introduced various things at a good pace, and there was no wasted time, which was great. The guide was also very knowledgeable, and listening to them sparked my interest in plants, animals, and the terrain. The measures against brown bears were thorough, which made me feel safe.

Regarding COVID-19 measures, alcohol disinfection, mask-wearing, and avoiding crowded places were all properly implemented, allowing me to participate with peace of mind.

The weather wasn't very good this time, so I would like to see a sunny Shiretoko someday. Of course, I would like to book with Veltra!

野生の鹿やリスにも出会えて感動です！
ガイドの方が良いテンポで、かつ余すとこなく色々紹介してくださり、無駄な時間がなかったのも良かったです。
またガイドの方は知識も豊富で、話を聞くと植物や動物、地形に対する興味が湧いてます。
ヒグマ対策も万全で、安心でした。

新型コロナウイルス感染症対策についても、アルコール消毒やマスク着用、三密回避など、しっかりと行われており安心して参加することができました。

今回は天気があまり良くなかったので、またいつか晴れた知床も見てみたいです。もちろん、私はベルトラさんでお願いします！
