Unfortunately, it was a foggy and cloudy day, and even when we got close to the border with Russia, nothing appeared! I thought today might be a bust. For about an hour after departure, I dozed off inside the boat. Just as we were about to turn back, a boat that had left earlier spotted a whale, and on the way there, we also saw dolphins. We were super lucky to see both whales before they dove down! They say once they dive, they won't come back up for 40 minutes. After that, a staff member on the upper deck spotted a pod of orcas two miles away! In the end, we were able to see dolphins, whales, and orcas, including a mother and her calf. I'm so grateful to the captain and all the staff. All the staff were young women and very cheerful!

あいにくの霧と曇りの日で、ロシアとの国境の近くまで行っても何も現れず！で今日は駄目かなと思いました。
出港から約一時間は船内でウトウトしていました。
戻ろうとした時に先に出港した船がクジラを発見、その場に向かう途中イルカも見えました。
クジラは2頭で潜ってしまう前に2頭とも見ることができ、超ラッキー！！
一度潜ってしまったら40分は上がってこないそうです。
その後上部甲板で見張っていたスタッフが2マイル先にシャチの群れを発見！
最後にシャチの群れ、親子もいました。
何んとイルカ、クジラ、シャチの全てを見ることができ、船長とスタッフの皆様に感謝です。
スタッフは全員若い女性で明るかったです(^^♪

I participated on a clear autumn day. Since it was close to evening, the sea was also less crowded, and I had plenty of time to take photos inside the cave, which became a wonderful memory!

The captain's talk was sharp, and his driving was impressive! I think this is quite a unique activity (^^).

I joined from Sapporo, but I didn't know such a place existed, and I discovered a new charm of Hokkaido!

Next year, I want to invite my husband to join me!

It was a cloudy afternoon in early October, but the boat had windows that could be opened in the front and on the sides, making it comfortable. When I wanted to feel the wind, I could move to the back seat and enjoy the scenery.

The friendly captain made the experience very enjoyable. The Blue Cave was beautiful, but the scenery along the way was also magnificent and truly representative of Hokkaido.

I walked to the meeting point, but it was closer to the end of the canal than I expected, so I got a bit lost. However, I was able to confirm my location quickly by calling the captain, which was a relief.

10月初旬の曇りの午後だったのですが、ボート内は前と横に窓が開閉できて、快適にいられました。風に当たりたいときは、後ろの椅子へ移動できたので景色も満喫できます。
気さくな船長がとても楽しく盛り上げてくれました。青の洞窟も綺麗でしたが、道中の景色も北海道らしく雄大ですごく良かったです。

集合場所まで歩いて行きましたが、思ったより運河の突き当たり寄りで、ちょっと迷ってしまいましたが、船長に電話してすぐに確認がとれたのでよかったです。

**What I Liked:**
- It was a large, new ship!
- Although I couldn't see the whale's body clearly, I was able to see its back and watch it spouting water near the surface several times. I also saw a pod of dolphins.
- Actually, what I was most looking forward to was seeing Kunashiri Island in the Northern Territories, so it was very moving to be able to see the long silhouette of the island even though it was cloudy.
- The staff kindly encouraged those suffering from seasickness to move to the back of the first floor where there was less motion, and they provided tissues, plastic bags, and wet wipes.

**What Was Disappointing:**
- On the day of the trip, the waves were high and the ship rocked quite a bit. Despite taking motion sickness medication, my child got seasick and was down within an hour. I had to accompany them to care for them. This varies from person to person and isn't an issue with the tour company.
The ship we were on was relatively large, so the rocking might not have been too bad compared to smaller vessels.

However, when you do get seasick, it becomes difficult to get off the ship, turning the time into a painful experience, so I think it's best for those who are prone to seasickness to take proper precautions.

・クジラの胴体ははっきり見えませんでしたが、背中と、海面近くで潮を吹いているのを何度も見られました。イルカの群れも見ました。
・実は私が一番期待していたのは、北方領土の国後島を見ることでしたので、曇っていながら長い島陰を見ることができ、感慨深かったです。
・船酔いで苦しんでいる方に、スタッフの方々が揺れの少ない一階後方へ移動するよう声かけして下さり、ティッシュやビニール袋、ウエットティッシュなどを提供して下さったこと。

❮残念だったこと❯
・当日は波が高くかなり船が揺れ、酔い止めを飲んでいたにもかかわらず、子どもが船酔いで一時間もしないうちにダウン。親も途中から看病に付き添いました。これは個人差があり、ツアー会社の問題ではありませんね。
今回乗った船は大きめの船だったので、まだ揺れはましな方だったのでは？

でも、船酔いになると、降りるに降りられず、辛いだけの時間になってしまうので、弱い方はしっかり対策されるのが良いと思います。

Even in these times of COVID-19, I think I visited during the busiest season, but I was able to take my time and enjoy it! Not only the Blue Cave, but also other attractions were explained in a fun and entertaining way, making it a memorable experience. The boat ride felt like an attraction, and if you're looking for some thrills, I definitely recommend it! The meeting point was a bit hard to find, though.

コロナのご時世とは言え、1番の混雑期に行ったと思いますがゆっくり見せてもらえました！
青の洞窟だけでなく、他の見どころも面白おかしく説明していただいて楽しい思い出となりました。ボートもアトラクションみたいで、スリリングさを味わいたいのなら断然おすすめです！
合流場所だけが少しわかりにくかったです。

The cheerful captain makes the tour enjoyable. The sea is very beautiful, and I am satisfied. If you are prone to motion sickness, taking anti-nausea medication is essential.

We arrived earlier than our scheduled time, so it was helpful that we could depart early without any loss of time. I was worried about it being crowded during this season, but we had the place to ourselves, and the enjoyable conversation along with the wonderful scenery was truly soothing for the heart! I was moved to discover that there are such lovely places in Japan. Thank you very much.

この時期だから密にならないか心配してましたが私達だけの貸切で楽しいトークと素晴らしい景色に心癒されました！

The foreign captain entertained us in various ways, so the round trip to the Blue Cave was enjoyable without getting bored. The driving is acrobatic, so those who are prone to motion sickness should not forget to take motion sickness medication!

外国人船長がいろいろ楽しませてくれたので、青の洞窟までの往復も飽きずに楽しめました。運転がアクロバティックなので酔いやすい人は酔い止めを忘れずに！

The captain was full of puns and consideration, and it was lively and fun. The covered boat provides peace of mind even in the rain. Even when the weather is good, there can be quite a bit of rocking, so make sure to get plenty of sleep the night before. If you're prone to motion sickness, take some medication and consider acupressure (around the wrist) for when you feel nauseous! Even in summer, it can feel chilly at times, so having a towel or scarf would be a good idea.

船長さんはダジャレあり気配りあり、元気で楽しかったです。屋根つきのボートで雨でも安心。
天気が良くても揺れがかなり激しい時もあるので、前日は睡眠をしっかり、酔い易い方は酔い止めの薬、酔った時に効くツボ押し(手首の辺り)など対策を！夏でも寒く感じる時もあるので、タオルマフラーなどあると良いと思います。

Amidst the various tours being suspended due to COVID-19, I was drawn to this beautiful photo of a mysterious world tour that I found. There were several tours to the Blue Cave, but I was right to choose this one, as many people have shared wonderful experiences about it.

We participated in a private tour with my two children, and we excitedly boarded the boat. The captain provided attentive and kind service, and we enjoyed a fun time filled with jokes as we made our way to the Blue Cave. My children had a great time standing at the back of the deck during the cruise.

The waves were such that the captain mentioned he was considering canceling the tour, but we hardly noticed them and had a great time. Unusually for this time of year, there were no other boats waiting, so we were truly lucky to take our time and fully enjoy the beauty of the Blue Cave.

Unfortunately, my daughter got seasick at this point, and the captain was very considerate, hurrying us back. However, he continued to offer us water and encouraged us to take our time until she felt better. We had a wonderful time. During that time, the captain also shared his dreams for the future, which deeply moved me.

I am truly grateful for the wonderful memories and time we spent. Thank you very much.

コロナでいろいろなツアーが運行停止中の中、
こちらで見つけた美しい写真に惹かれた神秘の世界のツアーでした。
いくつか青の洞窟へのツアーはありましたが、たくさんの方が素敵な体験談を投稿されているこちらのツアーを選んで正解でした。
子ども達２人と一緒に参加した3人で貸し切りツアーになり　ワクワクしながら船に乗り込み船長さんの丁寧で優しい対応とジョーク混じりのガイドの楽しい時間を過ごしながら目的の青の洞窟に到着しました。
子ども達は後ろのデッキに立ちながらこのクルーズをとても楽しんでいました。
船長さんが今日は中止にしようか迷ったと話されるほどの波のようでしたが、ほとんど気にならず楽しめました。
今回は　この時期には珍しく他に待機している船がいないとの事で　ゆっくりと時間をとって青の洞窟の美しさを堪能出来て本当にラッキーでした。
あいにく娘がこの時点で船酔いになり、船長さんが気にして下さり残りは大急ぎで帰ってきましたが　船を降りてからもお水をくださったり気分が良くなるまで好きなだけゆっくりして行ってください。と素晴らしい時間を過ごさせていただきました。
その間　船長さんのこれからの夢なども語って下さり、澄んだ心に改めて感動しました。
本当に素敵な思い出と時間を過ごさせていただき感謝しています。ありがとうございました。

It was unfortunately rainy, but we were able to enjoy the sightseeing without getting wet since the boat had a roof.

The Russian guide spoke Japanese fluently and occasionally made jokes in Japanese, which was funny.

Also, the Blue Cave is beautiful and mysterious. There's no doubt you'll create wonderful memories there.

Additionally, since it was a rainy day and the sea was rough, the boat swayed a bit. I think it's a good idea for those who are prone to motion sickness to take anti-nausea medication in advance!

あいにくの雨でしたが、屋根が付いてるボートなので濡れずに観光ができました。

ロシア人のガイドさんは日本語がペラペラです。時折、日本語でギャグも言ってきます笑。

そして、青の洞窟は美しく神秘的。最高の思い出ができることは間違いなし。

また、雨の日で海が荒れていたので船が多少揺れました。酔いやすい方は、事前に酔い止め薬を飲むといいと思います！

Due to scheduling constraints, I could only enjoy one day, so I joined this tour. Fortunately, it was the last day of the season, which was really great.

Additionally, the guide's explanations were clear, allowing me to gain a deeper understanding of Abashiri.

On the icebreaker ship, I was able to enjoy the drifting ice. It's best to view it from the deck, but it can be cold, so appropriate clothing is necessary. I was able to see animals like eagles and seagulls, but unfortunately, I couldn't see any seals.

Abashiri Prison has facilities scattered around, and since you spend a lot of time outside, it's best to wear warm clothing. With limited time, it's important to focus on the key points.

At the Drift Ice Museum, I was glad to see animals that live in the drifting ice, like the clione. There were displays of drifting ice, and it was nice to touch them, but since I had already seen them on the icebreaker, it wasn't as impressive. There was an observation deck, but unfortunately, the weather was bad.

For lunch, I had to choose when I got on the bus in the morning, and the options were Zangi rice bowl and ramen. There was a souvenir shop on the first floor, and after finishing my meal, I could take my time looking at souvenirs and seafood like crabs. There were also souvenirs from the Drift Ice Museum and Abashiri Prison, but they were a bit limited. I purchased some local sake and beer from Abashiri.

After that, I went to the Drift Ice Special Railway and Cape Notoro, but the weather was bad, and I couldn't enjoy the scenery. There's nothing that can be done about that.

I felt a bit rushed for time, but I was able to efficiently enjoy Abashiri in one day.

日程の都合上、1日しか楽しむことができなかったので、このツアーに参加した。幸運にも、今シーズンの最終日だったので、本当に良かった。
また、ガイドさんの説明もわかりやすく、網走を深く知ることができた。

砕氷船では流氷を楽しむことができた。甲板上から見るのが良いが、寒いのでそれなりの格好が必要だ。ワシやカモメなどの動物を見ることができた。残念ながら、アザラシを見ることはできなかった。

網走刑務所は施設が点在し、外に出ることが多いので防寒具はしっかりと着た方がいい。時間があまりないので、要点を抑えてみる必要がある。

流氷館はクリオネなどの流氷に住む動物を見ることができたのは良かった。流氷が展示してあり、実際に触れるのは良かったが、砕氷船ですでにみていたので、そこまで感動はなかった。展望台があったが、あいにく、天気が悪かった。

昼ご飯は朝、バスに乗った時点で選ぶ必要があり、内容はザンギ丼、ラーメンであった。
ここはお土産屋さんが1階にあり、食べ終わったら、じっくりとお土産やカニなどの海鮮を見ることができた。流氷館、網走刑務所のお土産もあったが、少し少なかった。ここでは網走の日本酒とビールを購入した。

その後に流氷特別鉄道と能取岬に行ったが、天気が悪く、景色は楽しめなかった。こればかりは仕方がない。

少し時間に追われている感じもしたが、一日で効率よく網走を楽しむことができた。

The visiting hours at Abashiri Prison are not enough at all. I couldn't visit all the facilities. I had to wait 30 minutes for the train at Kitahama Station in the cold winter, and I was freezing.

網走監獄見学時間がぜんぜん足りません。施設を全ては回れません。
寒い冬の北浜駅で電車の待ち時間が30分、凍えます。

I participated because I could tour the sightseeing spots in Abashiri. On the day of the tour, we couldn't ride the icebreaker due to strong winds, but we received shopping vouchers at a nearby roadside station, allowing us to shop leisurely. After that, we moved according to the itinerary and enjoyed sightseeing and gourmet experiences. The time we had at the Abashiri Prison was shorter than expected (about 40 minutes), so if you take your time, you might not be able to see everything (which is a downside). The view of the sea ice at Cape Notoro, our last stop, was breathtaking.

Since the sightseeing spots are far from Abashiri Station, you need to consider using buses for transportation. However, there are only about two buses per hour, which limits your freedom (it seems there are no buses to Cape Notoro). Considering this, I think this tour, which allows you to visit all the spots by bus and return to the center of Abashiri, is convenient.

網走の観光場所を巡れるということで、参加しました。
当日は強風で砕氷船に乗れませんでしたが、近くの道の駅でお買い物できる券を頂き、ゆっくりと買い物することができました。その後は、行程表通りに移動し、観光やグルメを堪能しました。網走刑務所での観光時間が思ったより短かった(40分くらいでした)ため、ゆっくり見ているとすべてを見て周れないかもしれません(そこがマイナス評価)。最後に訪れた能取岬で一面の流氷を見たときは圧巻でした。
観光する場所は、網走駅から歩くには遠いため、バスなどを使用した移動を考える必要があります。ただ、本数は1時間に2本くらいであまり自由がききません(能取岬はバスがないらしい)。そう考えれば、すべてバスで巡り、網走中心街まで戻れるこのツアーは、便利だと思います。

There were foreigners, so they explained to the customers in both English and Japanese. The explanations were very polite, and the humorous speaking style made it enjoyable. Thank you very much.

It was a beautifully sunny day. The captain's stories were very enjoyable, and the boat had a roof, with the back designed like an open deck, which made it a lot of fun! The captain was very kind, stopping the boat at interesting spots and sharing fascinating stories. He even asked if I was cold, showing great consideration. I'm really glad I participated!

船長さんの話がとても楽しくて、ボートも屋根があって、後ろはオープンデッキのようになってて、とても楽しめました！
見どころ見どころで船を停止させ、面白い話を聞かせてくれたとても優しい船長さんです。

Unfortunately, it was drizzling, but there was no problem at all with the 13-person boat that had a roof and windows (for reference, most of the other boats we saw near the cave had no roofs and their passengers were wearing raincoats). Captain Alexei provided guidance in fluent Japanese and English, including puns, which everyone enjoyed. It was said that the blue of the cave looks better on cloudy days, and indeed, we were able to see a wonderful shade of blue that we had never seen before, and we thoroughly enjoyed it!

あいにく小雨の降る天気でしたが、屋根/窓のある13人乗りボートで雨でも何ら問題ありません（参考まで、洞窟近くで見た他の船の殆どが屋根もなく雨合羽を着ていました）。船長のアレクセイさんは流暢な日本語と英語で乗船中はダジャレも含め案内して頂き皆楽しんでいました。洞窟の碧は曇りのほうが良いとのことでしたが、確かに今まで見たことのない素晴らしい”碧”が見れ、満喫しました！

It really is possible to create a truly enjoyable experience.

It was cloudy on the day of the tour, but I learned that the sea looks more beautiful when it's cloudy. You won't know until you try.

The guide, who always entertains us, also seemed to have a solid philosophy on life.

Even if the boat doesn't look luxurious, you can still create plenty of enjoyment.

I thought the eyes of the guide, who had that kind of spirit, were much clearer and bluer.

I'm glad I was able to experience this tour.

本当に楽しい体験というのは作れるものですね。

当日は曇りだったのですが、曇りのほうが海が綺麗に見えると学べました。
行ってみないと分からない。

いつも愉しませてくれるガイドさんでいながら、人生論もしっかり語っているようでした。

船のみてくれが豪華でなくても、楽しみは十分作っていける。

そんな意気込みを持った、ガイドのオジサンの目のほうがずっとキレイに澄んでいて青いと思いました。

このツアーを体験できてよかったです。

I parked my car at Katsuna Park and crossed the road (you can go under the road from the right side with your back to the sea). A young man from Russia, born in Japan, helped me at the reception. (I paid in cash, but I realized I had already completed the credit card payment through VELTRA and got a refund.) The departure was at 13:30, but we were about 10 minutes late (it's better to have some buffer time in your schedule). There is one temporary toilet at the boarding area, but it's better to take care of that somewhere else beforehand. It's best to have your luggage as small as possible. (It's not the kind of situation where you can drink juice while on board.) The boat shakes quite a bit; I get motion sickness easily, so it was tough. However, the Blue Cave was incredibly beautiful! (You can also go out on deck from the cabin to see it. It's even more beautiful than the photos posted!) You might get a little splashed (but it's not enough to need a raincoat). Since the boat has a cabin, it was nice to be sheltered from the sun. (I think it's good for colder weather too.) My parents in their 70s also said they had a great time.

勝納公園に車停めて、道路向かい（海を背中にして右側から道路下くぐって行けます）日本生まれのロシアの若者が受付してくれました。（現金払いましたが、VELTRAでクレジット決済済みに自分で気付き返金してもらいました）13:30発で、10分位遅れました（前後の予定は余裕持った方が良い）乗り場に1個、仮設トイレありますが、先にどこかで済ませて来た方がいいです。荷物はなるべく小さいほうがいいです。（ジュース飲みながら…という感じではないです）かなり揺れます、私は酔いやすいので、辛かった。でも、青の洞窟はすっごい綺麗でした！（キャビン出て甲板の上に上がって見ることも可能。投稿写真よりもっともっと綺麗です！））少しだけ、しぶきがかかります。（カッパ着るほどではない）船がキャビンなので、日差し避けられ良かった。（寒い時もいいと思う）70代の両親も楽しかったと言ってました。

I participated with my mother. It was cloudy when we joined, and I was worried because it had been raining in the morning, but even with the clouds, the cave was very beautiful and it was amazing!
I think Otaru can be fully explored in two days, so I believe you should include the Blue Cave in your schedule.
The voyage to the cave was also pleasant and thrilling, and it will definitely be a great memory.

母と2人で参加しました。午前中雨模様で参加した時も曇りだったので心配でしたが、曇りでも洞窟内はとても綺麗で最高でした！
小樽は2日あれば制覇できる場所だと思うので、スケジュールに青の洞窟は入れるべきかと思います。
洞窟に行くまでの航海も気持ちよくスリルもあり良い思い出になること間違いなしです。

I couldn't visit the Blue Cave in Italy or Okinawa, but I found out there is one in Otaru, so I went to check it out. I was able to fully enjoy the transparent blue waters. The round-trip cruise was also very meaningful, as the captain provided fun commentary and shared a wealth of knowledge, making for a great experience.

イタリアも沖縄も見られなかった青の洞窟。小樽にもあると知って行ってきましたが、透き通った青を満喫できました。往復のクルーズも、船長さんの楽しいおしゃべりと豊富な知識でいろいろと案内していただき、とても有意義な時間を過ごせました。

It was a very enjoyable boat cruise. The scenery reminiscent of Jurassic Park, in addition to the destination of the Blue Cave, was fantastic. The captain's jokes were also funny, and the whole family had a great time. Thank you very much.

Blessed with good weather, the Shakotan Blue. I was impressed looking into the "mysterious blue." The captain's guidance was also great! The 90-minute cruising, with a final round in the open sea, was refreshing. I'm glad I went!

好天に恵まれての、積丹ブルー。「神秘の青」をのぞきこんで、感心しました。船長さんのご案内もGOOD！９０分のクルージング、最後に外洋での一廻りは爽快さを演出してくれました。行って良かった！

It was drizzly weather, but the boat had a solid roof and windows, so I didn't need to wear a raincoat and could enjoy cruising with just a life jacket. I had no worries about taking photos because of the windows. There was a deck, and the boat stopped at sightseeing points. I had plenty of time to take pictures on the deck while listening to enjoyable commentary.

Above all, the scenery is stunning! I was told that on cloudy days, the blue looks deeper than on sunny days, and I was truly moved by the rich, deep blue. Additionally, there were many small, cute bats about the size of half a little bird living in the caves, flying around above, adding to the sense of adventure. The dramatic cliffs along the route reminded me of Shiretoko.

I had no idea I could enjoy such beautiful natural scenery in Otaru. I heard that the sunset time is also recommended, so I would like to participate again.

小雨模様のお天気でしたが、しっかりとした屋根と窓のあるボートなのでカッパを着ることもなく、救命胴着のみでのクルージングでした。
窓があることで写真が撮りにくいのでは、という心配は無用です。デッキがあり、観光ポイントではボートは止まります。楽しい解説を聞きながらデッキで写真を撮る時間はじゅうぶんにありました。
なにより、風景が素晴らしいです！晴れよりも曇りの日の方が青く見える、と言われましたが、こっくりと深い青には感動しました。また、洞窟内には小鳥の半分ほどのサイズの小さなかわいいコウモリがたくさん住んでいて、上の方を飛び回っていて、秘境感もたっぷりと味わえます。航路の断崖絶壁の風景はダイナミックで、知床に通じるものがあります。
小樽でこんなに大自然の風景を楽しめるとは知りませんでした。サンセットの時間帯もお勧めだと聞いたので、また参加したいと思います。

I signed up for this tour hoping my Korean boyfriend would have a unique experience in Hokkaido.

The tour guide was skilled in both Japanese and English, allowing us to enjoy his fun jokes in either language.

The journey to the cave was thrilling, and the blue cave felt like a Disneyland attraction, which was exciting. The emerald green was truly beautiful, and my boyfriend was very impressed.

Unfortunately, my iPhone ran out of battery, so I couldn't take any photos, but the guide kindly offered to charge it for me. He was very service-oriented.

I've visited Otaru several times, but this was my first experience like this. I definitely recommend it to both international visitors and Japanese people.

ツアーガイドさんは日本語も英語も上手な方で、彼の楽しいジョークをどちらの言語でも楽しむことが出来ました。

洞窟に着くまでの移動も迫力満点でしたが、青い洞窟はディズニーランドのアトラクションのようでわくわくしました。エメラルドグリーンが本当に綺麗で彼もとても驚いてくれました。

途中でiPhoneの充電が切れてしまい写真が撮れなくなってしまったのですが、ガイドさんが快く充電して下さりました。とてもサービス精神が旺盛な方でした。
小樽に何度か訪れたことはありますが、このような体験は始めてです。海外の方は勿論、日本の方にも是非参加していただきたいです。

I participated with a friend. The guide was a cheerful self-proclaimed Earthling (Russian) captain. It's a covered boat, so it's safe for those who can't swim or are afraid of water, and you can also feel the wind outside. The journey has a bit of an attraction feel to it, making it enjoyable on its own.

Fortunately, we had the boat to ourselves, so I took a lot of photos, and I could feel the thoughtfulness in things like slowing down the boat. The Blue Grotto is undoubtedly beautiful. It's worth seeing. You can enjoy it with family, friends, or a partner.

陽気な自称地球人（ロシア人）の船長の案内です。屋根のあるボートで泳げない方、水の怖い方でも安心ですし、外に出て風を感じる事もできます。道中はちょっとしたアトラクション感覚で、これだけでも楽しいです。

運良く貸切状態だったので、写真を撮りまくってしまいましたが、たぶんボートのスピード落とすなど、心使いも感じました。
青の洞窟は間違いなくキレイです。見る価値はあります。家族、友人、恋人、どなたとでも楽しめますよ。

The reservation date had strong waves, so we couldn't depart, but we were able to reschedule for the next day and had a valuable experience. Not only did we see the Blue Cave, but we also had a thrilling experience riding over the waves on a pleasure boat, like a roller coaster. The foreigner (probably from Russia) spoke fluent Japanese and provided amusing explanations that made us feel like we were in another country, which was a lot of fun.

Once you arrive at the location, I recommend calling the contact number if no one is there, as there might be a cancellation. The meeting point is in the bay, so even if the wind and waves aren't too strong, there can still be big waves near the cave that prevent you from going.

予約日は波が強くて出港できずでしたが、翌日に振り替えてもらえて、貴重な体験ができました。
青の洞窟を見るというだけでなく、プレジャーボートで波を乗り越えてジェットコースターのような体験や、外国人（多分ロシアの人）の上手な日本語、でもなんか可笑し面白い説明で異国を感じられたりして大変楽しめました。

現地に着いて、誰もいなかったら連絡先に電話することをお勧めします。欠航かもしれないので。集合場所は湾内なのでそんなに風、波が強くなくても洞窟付近は大波で乗れない事も。

We participated as a couple.

The sea seemed a bit rough, which added a sense of adventure to the cruise. We got splashed by waves, and everyone had fun laughing and enjoying the moment. My husband usually gets seasick, but he seemed to be fine this time.

The foreign captain shared many amusing stories, making the round trip cruise feel like it went by in no time.

In the cave, we encountered beautiful emerald green waters, creating a wonderful memory. I was a bit worried about whether the tour would go ahead due to the bad weather, and when I reached out, it seemed there was some confusion with the reservation since it was made last minute. I'm glad we were able to participate without any issues.

夫婦での参加です。

海は少し荒れていたようで、クルーズはなかなかのアトラクション感があります。波がかかったりもして、それはそれで皆さんはしゃいだりして楽しかったです。主人はよく船酔いをするのですが、今回は大丈夫だったようです。
外国人の船長さんが面白可笑しくいろんな話をしてくださったり、往復のクルーズもあっという間です。

洞窟では綺麗なエメラルドグリーンに出会えて、とても良い思い出になりました。
あいにくの天候で催行されるのか不安で連絡したところ、直前の予約だったせいか予約を認識されていなかったようで少しごたつきました。無事に参加出来て良かったです。

The boarding area is at the dock near the park, past the main road after going through the Meruhen intersection towards the sea. Please be aware that searching online for "Otaru, Blue Cave" may lead to different boarding locations.

You will see a signpost near the meeting point, so if you call out to the boat that is docked nearby, they will assist you with the check-in.

On the day of my visit, the sky was cloudy after the rain, which made me anxious about how clear the view would be. However, the captain sensed my worries and assured me that "the weather like today is when it looks the most beautiful," which put me at ease as we headed towards the Blue Cave. The journey was quick and enjoyable thanks to the captain's lively and cheerful talk. As for the Blue Cave, just as the captain said, it was a beautiful blue color, and only the area near the cave was blue, creating a very magical atmosphere. Since there were no boats following us, I was able to fully enjoy the scenery.

By the way, as you head out to sea, you will get splashed, so it's best to wear clothes that can get wet.

乗り場はメルヘン交差点を海側に抜けて、大通りを越えた先の公園近くの船着き場です。インターネットで「小樽、青の洞窟」等で調べると違う乗り場が出てくる場合があるので、ご注意ください。
集合場所付近には目印の”のぼり”が見えますので、近くに停留している船に声を掛けると、受付していただけます。

当日、雨上がりの曇りの空模様でしたので、綺麗に見えるか不安でしたが、その不安な気持ちを察した船長から、「今日のような天気の時が一番きれいに見える」と教えていただけたので、とても安心して青の洞窟に向かうことができました。道中も船長の軽快で陽気なトークで楽しませてもらえたので、青の洞窟まであっという間でした。青の洞窟は船長の言ったとおり、綺麗な青い色で洞窟の近くだけが青いので、非常にとても幻想的な雰囲気でした。後続の船も無かったので、思う存分景観を楽しむことができました。

ちなみに沖に出るに連れて、水しぶきがかかるので濡れてもいい格好で行ったほうがいいです。
