I want to say that I was satisfied with the tour as planned, but perhaps because there were so few participants, we were in a regular van instead of a large bus, which was disappointing.

The ride was quite uncomfortable, and it shook a lot during the long-distance travel, which made me tired.

The driver had no ill intentions, but I would have appreciated at least some explanation or reasoning. If it's the same next time and we don't have a bus, I won't participate.

This time, since there were only a few of us, we were taken in a van by the guide who also drove.

I was taken to a place that I wouldn't have been able to go to by myself, which was great for making effective use of my time. The guide was from China, but their Japanese was very good, and they happily answered any questions I had. The outdoor hot spring bath I visited at Jozankei Onsen left a lasting impression. It truly was a fun day.

The benefits of the area around Jozankei were great. My wife and I visited the Toyohira Gorge Onsen further in. There, a local person told us, "This place is the best, and the curry is amazing." When we actually took a bath, it was truly a wonderful hot spring. The outdoor bath was completely surrounded by tall mountains, and the indoor bath had a very historical feel to it. I felt that my stiff neck improved, and my wife, who has weak legs, started to walk a bit more energetically afterward. I felt quite warm for a while, and it was truly a healing hot spring experience.

In Otaru, we went to the Sankaku Market for lunch, where there was a really nice restaurant that was kind to my wife, who has difficulty walking. The prices and taste were very reasonable, and we were able to enjoy our lunch there. Overall, it was a very good tour.

定山渓近辺の効用は良かったです。私達夫婦は　その奥の　豊平峡温泉に入りました。そこで地元の人から　「ここは最高ですよ、カレーも最高です」と言われました。実際に入浴してみると　本当に良い湯でした。露天風呂は周りが高揚にすっぽり囲まれ、内湯も　とても歴史の重みを感じる場所でした。寝違えた首も良くなった気がしましたし、足腰の弱い妻も　その後少し元気に歩き始めました。体も結構ポカポカが続き、本当に癒された良い温泉でした。
小樽では　三角市場に行ってお昼を食べましたが、足の悪い妻に親切にしてくれた　とっても良いお店があって　お値段も味もとてもリーズナブルなお店で昼食をとる事が出来ました。　全体としてはとても良いツアーでした。

I was a bit worried about how it would feel to participate in such a packed plan that would be hard to manage individually. The first stop was Hell Valley in Noboribetsu. The smell of sulfur and the smoke were incredibly impressive. There were stairs and slopes, but there were handrails, so it was safe to walk.

Next, we visited Showa Shinzan and the Bear Ranch. Participation at the Bear Ranch was optional, but everyone joined in. It was fun to see the large bears up close and even feed them! I was surprised to see them raise their hands for food and perform tricks!

After that, we stopped by Lake Toya and enjoyed the canal in Otaru, doing some shopping... The tour guide was really kind, letting us know about great photo spots in advance, taking pictures for us, and recommending souvenirs.

We were blessed with good weather on the day, and thanks to the tour guide (who was from abroad) managing everything and being considerate, we had a great time. We were the only Japanese people in the group, but it was actually nice not to have to worry about that (laughs). This plan with the second person free is quite a bargain!

なかなか個人では回りきれない様な盛りだくさんプランで実際どんな感じなのだろうと内心、心配でした。
最初に行ったのが登別の地獄谷でした。
硫黄の匂いと煙が凄く迫力がありました。
階段や勾配がありましたが手摺りがあり、安全に歩けました。
次は昭和新山と熊牧場。熊牧場は希望者だけでしたが全員参加しました。大きな熊を間近で見れるのと餌やりが出来るので楽しめました！餌が欲しくて手を上げたり、芸？が出来るんだと驚きました！

あとは洞爺湖に寄り、小樽市内で運河を観たり買い物をしたり…
添乗員さんが撮影スポットを事前に教えてくれたり撮影してくれたり、おすすめのお土産を教えてくれたりと本当に親切にしてくれました。

当日は天気に恵まれ、添乗員さん（外国の方）の仕切りや配慮のお陰で楽しく過ごす事が出来ました。
日本人は私達だけでしたが、逆に気を遣わず良かったです(笑)
今回の2人目無料のプランはかなりお得です

At Jigokudani, we took a leisurely stroll. My mother, who has difficulty walking, was with us, but we had plenty of time to explore, so we were able to walk quite far. We also had about an hour for a break at a spot where we could enjoy the view of Showa Shinzan, and although it was a bit rushed, we managed to use the Usuzan Ropeway. At Lake Toya, the view from the Silo Observatory was great, and we were able to take a lot of photos. We also got to meet the "master" of the Silo Observatory, Haru-chan the cat. In Otaru, we had plenty of time, so after shopping, we enjoyed some food, which kept us quite busy. This time, since there were only a few of us, our driver also acted as our guide, and in addition to explaining the tourist spots, we received a lot of information about delicious food, which made us very happy. The destination was nice, but the road and facility guidance were a bit lacking, which caused me to get lost. At Jozankei Onsen, it was indicated that I could use the hot springs, but in reality, I had to walk quite a distance from where the taxi dropped me off, and I couldn't enjoy the hot springs. The driver said it would take about 5 minutes on foot, but it actually took around 15 minutes. It was cold in the snow. First of all, even at the meeting time, neither the bus nor the tour guide arrived. I was worried along with a Japanese man who happened to be waiting with me, and when we contacted the company, there was no response. After waiting for a while, a Chinese man approached us, confirmed our names, and without any explanation, guided us to get on the Hiace. In silence, we picked up four more people at another meeting point and departed. The atmosphere inside the vehicle was heavy and silent. Unable to hold back, I asked the driver, who said he didn't understand Japanese well. At Jozankei Onsen, we were dropped off without any proper explanation, and I had no choice but to go to a nearby hotel to get a map. I at least wanted to know the location of the tourist information center. Overall, this cannot be called a day trip bus tour. While it was understandable that we ended up in a Hiace due to the small number of participants, I thought they should at least provide a guide who understands Japanese. In Otaru, there was no recommendation for shops or any guidance at all; we were just told where to meet and got off at a different location. The good thing about bus tours is that the guides show you famous places and introduce places to eat, allowing you to enjoy sightseeing even in unfamiliar areas. I regret participating in this tour, which is hard to call a bus tour. I believe it is standard to arrive before the meeting time and provide proper explanations, but opinions may vary, so this is just my personal impression.

まず、集合時間になってもバスも添乗員も来ない。たまたま一緒に待っていた日本人男性と、どうしたんだろうと心配し、会社に連絡しても、応答なし。しばらく待っていると、中国人男性が近づいてきて、私たちの名前を確認すると、何の説明もなく、ハイエースへ乗るよう誘導。無言のままもう一カ所の集合場所で、４人を乗せ出発。更に無言のまま車内は重苦しい雰囲気。我慢できずドライバーに聞いてみたら、日本語良くわからないとのこと。定山渓温泉では、まともな説明もなく車を下され、私は已む無く近くのホテルに地図をもらいに行きました。せめて観光案内所の場所位教えてほしかったです。一事が万事、どこをとっても日帰りバスツアーとは言えません。参加人数が少なく、ハイエースになったのはやむを得ないとしても、せめて、日本語の解かるガイドは付けてほしいと思いました。小樽でも、お勧めのお店とか、全く案内もなく、集合場所を指定され、別の所で下車しました。バスツアーの良いところは、ガイドさんが有名なところを案内したり、食事できるところを紹介したりして知らないところでも安心して観光出来るところではないでしょうか。今回のバスツアーとは言い難いツアーに参加し、後悔しかありません。集合時間前に来て、きちんと説明するのが当たり前だと思うのですが、意見には個人差がありますので、あくまで私個人の感想です。

It was a tour with a diverse group of 12 members, including a Chinese family, two friends from the Philippines, and three friends from Japan, along with a Chinese driver. At first, I was anxious, but in Jozankei, I naturally became friends with the young people from the Philippines by taking photos and chatting together. I was surprised that even us older folks could make friends with foreigners. My initial anxiety disappeared. At first, I was nervous because the driver was Chinese and everyone around was also of Chinese descent. However, when I mistakenly went to Toyohira Valley instead of Jozankei, the driver kindly took me back, and when I dropped my smartphone during my free time and panicked, they waited for me. They were very kind. The time management was just right; I could only spend an hour in Jozankei due to the mix-up and couldn't enjoy the hot springs, but I had plenty of time to relax in Otaru. I was able to walk through Lover's Park quickly. Thank you very much, even on New Year's Eve. I had a great time.

I chose this tour because it was the only option that would allow me to make it to my flight on time, but to be honest, I was disappointed. There were only five participants, including myself, and although everyone chose the basic Jozankei option, we were first taken to other hot spring areas that were optional. Once we realized that no one had chosen those, we returned to Jozankei, but none of the day-use hot springs were available by 10 AM (within walking distance).

Since there were so few of us, there was only the driver, who seemed completely inexperienced. However, I thought he was doing his best, so I didn't voice any complaints at the time. He looked nervous, likely because it was a job he wasn't used to, and I just wanted him to drive safely.

I can only think that the travel company that organized this tour made unreasonable assignments. I have no intention of participating in any future tours with the same company.

帰りの飛行機の時間に間に合うには、このツアーしか選択肢がなく選んだのですが、はっきり言って残念でした。
参加者は私を含め５人しかいなかったのですが、全員基本の定山渓を選んだにもかかわらず、まずオプションの他の温泉地に連れて行かれました。誰も選択してないことがわかり定山渓まで戻りましたが、日帰り温泉はどこも（徒歩圏）10時では利用できませんでした。
少人数だったので運転手さんしかいなかったのですが、全く慣れていない感じでした。ただ、その方は一生懸命お仕事はされていたと思いますので、その場で苦情は言いませんでした。慣れないお仕事で緊張されているようにも見えましたし、とにかく安全運転して欲しかったので。
このツアーを企画した旅行会社さんが無理なアサインをしたとしか思えません。同じ会社のツアーには今後参加するつもりはありません。

The tour included two Japanese parents, two friends (also Japanese), and one person who speaks Cantonese, along with a group of three friends (Chinese).

The guide explained in Cantonese, but despite the guests wearing masks, the guide spoke loudly without a mask, using an overly aggressive tone, and only spoke Japanese when making negative comments about Japanese people. It was truly the worst tour. The conversation was filled with irrelevant topics and personal opinions; I really wished they would just drive in silence. There was no explanation of the itinerary, and at the end, I was asked to sign in an unclear spot in Cantonese. Even without malice, it was unpleasant.

It was clearly the worst tour, and I do not recommend it.

ハッキリと最悪なツアーでした。

They changed the meeting place at Otaru Canal, allowing us to have some extra time for sightseeing at one location. Thanks to that, we were also able to see Otaru Art Village. The tasting of three types each of red and white wine at Yoichi Winery was great. We arrived at Jozankei while it was still bright and were able to enjoy a soak at Yunohana Onsen.

小型バスで、一カ所の観光時間にゆとりをもたせながら、小樽運河では集合場所を変更してくださいました。
おかげで小樽芸術村も見ることができました。
余市ワイナリーでは赤白ワイン3種ずつの試飲が良かった。

I was grateful that they were able to operate the course since there aren't many options for weekday departures. However, perhaps due to the lack of inbound tourism and domestic weekday demand, the winery was empty despite being listed for a visit (only the warehouse was open...) and there were hardly any people around. With no tastings or tours due to COVID, I wasn't sure what to do with an hour of time.

At Jozankei Onsen, many of the surrounding inns were temporarily closed, and finding one that offered day-use baths was quite challenging within the limited time I had (I managed to find one, but the hotel the driver suggested was also closed).

In Otaru, although I had done some research for free sightseeing, many of the shops were also closed... I was disappointed and tired after walking quite a distance. At Shiroi Koibito Park, it was nice to relax since the weather was clear, but it was very crowded with a lot of students.

As someone who can't drive, I appreciate being taken around, but I feel it may not be worth the cost. The others in my group seemed to have a lot of free time except in Otaru.

ただインバウンドもなく国内の平日の需要もないからか、ワイナリーは見学とは書いてあるものの誰もおらず(倉庫が開いているだけ…)人もほぼいません。
コロナの理由で、試飲もなく見学もないのに1時間も時間とられても何したら良いのか、、
定山渓温泉も周辺の旅館は臨時休館だらけ、日帰り入浴できることも私としては目的の一つだったのに限られた時間の中、まずやってる旅館を探すのが大変でした。(なんとかなりましたが、ドライバーさんが教えてくれたホテルも休みでした)
小樽は自由観光なので色々下調べしてあったのに、こちらも休みのお店多数…結構距離もある中歩いて行ったのでがっかりで疲れてしまいました。
白い恋人パークは晴れていたのでゆっくりできましたが学生さんが大勢でとても混んでいました。

運転できない身としては連れて行ってくれるだけで十分とは思うものの金額に見合わない気もします。
同行の方々も小樽以外は全て時間を持て余してる印象でした。

Normally, I would use a rental car, but I signed up for this tour because I was worried about driving on snowy roads. Fortunately, the weather was nice on the day of the tour, and it seemed like driving wouldn't be an issue, but taking a taxi was definitely more comfortable. Considering the unfamiliar roads and the need to look up stores while driving, the taxi was very convenient as it eliminated the need for prior research and any time loss on the day itself.

This time, we had a 4-hour course. Since we were scheduled to stay at the LOOP hotel in Yoichi, we toured Otaru before heading to the hotel. Both my friend and I had visited Otaru a few times, so we focused on shopping there. When moving from Otaru to Yoichi, we were taken to scenic spots along the coast.

The driver efficiently scheduled our requested and suggested sightseeing spots, allowing us to make the most of our time. He was very friendly, knowledgeable about local information, and our conversations in the car were enjoyable.

普段ならレンタカーを利用するのですが、雪道が心配だったためこのツアーを申し込みました。当日は幸いにも天気に恵まれ運転に支障は無さそうでしたが、やっぱりタクシーは楽。慣れない道やお店を調べながら走ることを考えると、事前の下調べも当日の時間ロスもないタクシーはとても快適で良かったです。

今回は4時間コース。余市のLOOPというホテルに滞在予定だったため、小樽から観光しながら余市へ向かいホテルに送っていただきました。
私も友人も小樽には数回訪れたことがあったので小樽では買い物を中心に。小樽から余市へ移動する際は、海沿いの景勝地に連れて行っていただきました。

運転手さんは、私たちのリクエスト＋ご提案いただいた観光地等をうまくスケジューリングしてくださり効率的に回れました。とても気さくな方で、地元情報もお詳しく、車内での会話も楽しかったです。
