Best way to see Eastern Hokkaido in winter

In winter, the buses are infrequent and you won't want to wait for a bus in the cold! This taxi is the way to go!!! We were able to customize our tour to what we wanted to see. We do not speak Japanese, so veltra was the stress-free way to book a sightseeing taxi. They are very prompt in replying to email. The taxi driver was professional and waiting for us prior to schedule and had all the information on what we wanted to see.

I was able to visit various places as time allowed, and it turned out to be a sightseeing experience that exceeded my expectations. The driver created a very friendly atmosphere in the car, and I had a wonderful time. Their knowledge about the locations was very detailed, and there were plenty of interesting facts that made me nod in agreement.

I'm really glad I requested the taxi from Veltra for my first visit to Shiretoko. I want to go again.

時間の許す限り、いろいろな場所を回って下さり、金額以上に満足のいく観光となりました。
車内でも話しやすい雰囲気を作って下さり、とても楽しい時間を過ごすことができました。
場所についての知識がとても詳しく、「ほお～」と思わず頷くような内容も盛りだくさんでした。

初めての知床観光、ベルトラさんのタクシーを依頼して本当に良かったです。
また行きたいです。

I decided to go to Abashiri to see the drift ice, but due to limited time and wanting smooth transportation with children, I used a sightseeing taxi. The driver listened carefully to our plans and requests, and provided great advice to make our stay better, which made us very satisfied.

流氷が見たく網走に行くことにしましたが、滞在時間が限られていること、こどもがいてスムーズな移動にしたかったことから、観光タクシーを利用しました。

The driver was concerned that during the sightseeing, after 4 PM, the scenery would become too dark to see. In cold seasons, it's important to manage your time wisely. I started from Shiretoko, where the scenery is everything, instead of Akanko.
