The two-hour course offers a better opportunity to enjoy the scenery compared to the one-hour course. This time, we even saw swans, which added some variety to the experience. We participated as a pair, and since a staff member joined us, we were able to take photos and relax at our own pace. Beginners and seniors might find it more enjoyable to choose the option with staff accompaniment for a pleasant canoeing experience.

コースとしては1時間コースより2時間コースの方が景色を楽しめます。

It was my first time in Eastern Hokkaido and my first time in Shiretoko. Since it was the season when brown bears appear, we couldn't walk the ground trails without a guided tour. Walking with a knowledgeable guide who explained the trees, flowers, birds, insects, and surrounding mountains allowed me to learn many things I didn't know and notice things I hadn't before. Although I didn't encounter any brown bears during the hike, I had the surprising experience of coming across a mother and cub on the way to the five lakes from our accommodation.

初の道東、初の知床でした。ヒグマか出没する時期でしたから、ガイドツアーでなければ地上遊歩道は歩けません。木や花、鳥や虫、周りの山々などに詳しいガイドさんと一緒に歩くことで、知らないこと、気づかないことをたくさん学べました。散策中にヒグマには遭遇しませんでしたが、宿から五湖までのピックアップ途中の道で、親子のヒグマに出逢うという、びっくりな体験もできました。

I think I would have just passed by without noticing the types of trees, reasons for the scars, and the terrain without the guide. The guide was particularly excited about a rare large ant nest, which was amusing! It was a lot of fun hiking because I was able to notice details that I definitely wouldn't have on my own.

木の種類、キズがある理由、地形、、、どれもガイドさん無しでは気にもならず通り過ぎていたと思います。

The day before, they kindly contacted us by phone regarding the meeting place and attire. On the day of the tour, since there were only a few participants, they explained what we could see and the sounds we could hear while walking. Additionally, when participants asked questions about things they found interesting, they provided detailed explanations, which made me very satisfied.

At one point, a hornet the size of a thumb appeared, but thanks to their professional handling with 17 years of experience, I felt very safe.

They are kind, thorough, and knowledgeable, and as a seasoned expert, I think anyone who is unsure should definitely join this tour!

前日夕方には、集合場所や服装について、電話で丁寧に連絡をくれました。当日は、少人数だったこともあり、歩きながら見えるもの、聞こえる音について説明してくれました。また、参加者が見つけて気になったものについて質問すると、詳しく説明してもらえて、とても満足でした。
途中、親指ほどの大きさのスズメバチが出たのですが、さすが17年の経験を持つプロの対応で、とても安心でした。
親切丁寧で、知識も豊富、何かあっても安心のベテランなので、迷ってる方は、このツアーに参加するのが良いと思います！

We participated as a group of four this time. It seems we were fortunate with the weather and conditions that day, as we were able to see the beautiful water quality of Lake Shikotsu from our kayaks amidst stunning scenery. The guide was very kind, and I learned a lot about Lake Shikotsu. I was pleasantly surprised by how friendly and thorough the conversation was. All the staff members were always smiling, and we truly had a wonderful time. The infection control measures were also thorough, so I highly recommend this activity to anyone visiting Hokkaido.

今回４人で参加させていただきました。この日は珍しく天候や条件に恵まれていたようで、絶景のなか綺麗な支笏湖の水質をカヤックの中から目視することができました。ガイドさんもとても親切で、支笏湖についてとても勉強になりました。ここまで親切丁寧にお話していただけるとは思っていなかったので嬉しかったです。他のスタッフの皆様も終始笑顔で、本当に気持ちのよい時間を過ごさせていただきました。感染対策も万全でしたし、北海道に行かれる人には是非おすすめしたいアクティビティです。

On the day of the trip, it was quite windy and rainy in the morning, but when we arrived at the location, we were greeted by blue skies, warm weather, and a moment when the wind stopped and the waves were completely calm, allowing us to see beautifully down to the deep bottom. It was also the first time this year that we saw it, and through the clear kayak, we encountered a large, bright blue river master (carp), which was a mystical and wonderful experience. Thank you to our guide for being so kind and teaching us various things. On the way back, we stopped by Marukoma Onsen, where we received a discount coupon, and the open-air bath close to the lake surface was spectacular and enjoyable. My daughter and I had a lovely little trip together.

当日は朝から雨風が強めでしたが、現地に着いてみたら青空が見えて暖かく風も止んで波も全く立たない瞬間があり、すごく華麗に深い底まで見えました。また、今年初見えということでしたが、クリアカヤックの底を介して真っ青で大きな川の主（鯉）にも出会え、神秘的でとても良い経験ができました。ガイドさん、親切にして頂き、色々教えてくれてありがとうございました。帰りは割引券を頂いた丸駒温泉に立ち寄りましたが、湖面が近い露天風呂が壮観で良かったです。娘と二人、良い小旅行ができました。

It was amazing to enjoy canoeing at our own pace in the great outdoors! We were able to see various animals such as wild deer, eagles, cranes, and foxes, which was an invaluable experience.

The option for transportation was very appreciated. Our guide was very friendly and introduced us to recommended izakayas during the ride, allowing us to have a wonderful night.

Next, I would like to experience canoeing in the summer as well.

大自然の中でゆったり自分たちのペースでカヌーを楽しむことができ、最高でした！
野生のシカ、ワシ、タンチョウ、キツネなど様々な動物を見ることもでき、この上ない貴重な体験でした。

As expected, it was cold in Hokkaido. However, they provided a knee blanket. The veteran guide was great, and the canoe tour was very enjoyable. We were able to see cute deer and impressive male deer with magnificent antlers.

The tour itself was quite enjoyable. However, perhaps because we were with the full-day tour participants, we (the half-day tour group) had no transportation provided, and we struggled to find the meeting point. Despite being told to gather 10 minutes early, we ended up arriving late (with no apology), and on the way back, the guidance for the full-day tour participants took priority, leaving us in a bit of a neglected state... so the experience surrounding the tour was not very pleasant. I think it's a good idea to confirm whether you'll be with the full-day tour participants when making a reservation. Alternatively, if you go in with the mindset that this is how it is, you might not feel the same way. That said, the tour itself was wonderful, and I was satisfied.

ツアーそのものは、十分楽しめました。しかし、一日コースの人達と一緒だったせいかもしれませんが、私たち（半日コース）だけ送迎なし、待ち合わせ場所がわからず、自分たちで探し回った、早く着くので、10分前までに集合してほしいとの依頼連絡があったにも関わらず、若干遅刻（お詫びなし）、帰りは、一日ツアーの人達への案内が優先で、私たちは放置状態・・・などとツアーの前後は、あまり気分のいいものではありませんでした。予約される際は、一日コースの人達と一緒かどうかを、確認されたほうがいいかと思います。または、そんなものだと考えて参加されると、同じような思いはしないと思いました。繰り返しですが、ツアーそのものは、素晴らしく、満足できました。

The scenery was wonderful, and I was very satisfied to encounter wildlife, animal tracks, and plants that I wouldn't have found on my own. I would like to request a guide again when I visit Shiretoko next time.

I participated on a clear day in late October. The experience began with a humorous guide explaining how to paddle a canoe, and then we boarded in pairs or groups of three. As winter approaches, the water in the Toyohira River is quite cold, but the scenery is beautiful, making for a pleasant one-hour experience. We paddled downstream and then used our own strength to go upstream. The current is gentle, so there aren't any moments that require much effort, but there is a part where you need to get out of the canoe and walk in the water while returning upstream, so having a towel would be a good idea.

10月下旬のよく晴れた日に参加しました。
体験では最初にカヌーの漕ぎ方についてユーモアあるガイドさんが説明してくれ、その後、2人または3人組で乗り込みます。
冬が近づく豊平川ですので、とても水は冷たくなっていますが、大変景色がよく、気持ちのいい1時間の体験でした。
カヌーは川を下り、その後自分たちの力で川を上っていきます。水の流れは緩やかなので、力が必要という場面は発生しませんが、一部上流へ戻る際にカヌーを降りて、水の中を歩く場面がありますので、タオルを持っていると、いいと思います。

結論からいうと大満足のツアーでした。
ガイドさんはとても親身になって私たちの質問に答えてくださりますし、ガイドさんの千里眼とも言える眼で気づかないような場所にいるような動物たちの所在を教えてくれます。
一眼の機材を持ち込むか躊躇していましたが、船も大きくとても安定しており、また自分たちで漕がなくても川の流れに乗ってガイドさんが漕いでくださるので写真撮影も十分にできました。聞くところによると、テレビ撮影にも使われるような安定した船のようです。
せっかく参加するなら早朝の6時からの回がおすすめです。朝靄がとても幻想的でしたし、一番人気のある昼の回は動物たちの出現率も低いそうです。
立派なオス鹿に鹿の群れも何回も見ましたし、オジロワシなど普段見れないような動物を多く見ることができ大満足でした。
また参加させていただきたいです！

I was very lucky to participate in the tour under great conditions, with beautiful weather and the autumn leaves at their peak. The main purpose of my trip to Hokkaido was to see the fall foliage, and this tour was the best as it allowed me to enjoy not only the stunning scenery but also canoeing activities.

The views from the river are more magnificent than those from the ground, and you can see them up close in a quiet environment without any noise, fully enjoying nature. The guide's explanations were easy to understand, so even beginners in canoeing need not worry. If you encounter any difficulties, help is available along the way. You can also have photos taken at the beginning and during the tour, creating memorable keepsakes. Of course, you can take your own photos during the tour as well.

At one point during the tour, you need to get out of the canoe and push, which can get you wet up to just above your ankles. They provide Crocs, but I especially recommend that women wear clothing that allows them to go barefoot. I was very satisfied with my participation in the autumn, but I think the impression will change depending on the season, so I would like to join again during the beautiful fresh green period.

川から見る景色は地上から見る景色より壮大、かつ間近に見られ、雑音もない静かな環境の中で自然を満喫する事も出来ます。
ガイドさんの説明もわかりやすく、カヌー初心者でも心配ありません。困った事があると途中でも助けてもらえます。ツアー最初や途中で写真も撮ってもらえるため思い出写真も残ります。もちろん、ツアー中自分で写真を撮る事も可能です。
ツアーの途中、一度だけカヌーを降りて押さなければならない場面があり、足首から少し上までが濡れます。クロックスを貸していただけますが、特に女性は裸足になれる服装で行かれることをお勧めします。
今回秋に参加して大満足でしたが、参加する季節により印象が変わると思うので、今度は新緑のきれいな時期に参加してみたいと思います。

It was my first time canoeing, but I felt secure participating since an experienced guide was with us. In the serene environment filled only with the sounds of water and birds, paddling slowly in the canoe was a truly wonderful experience that passed by in no time. I was so captivated by the scenery that, despite having been taught how to paddle, I hardly paddled at all. However, thanks to the guide's superb technique, we glided silently down the Kushiro River without making a sound... it was the best. I definitely want to join again in the winter!

水音と鳥の声しかしない中、ゆっくりと漕ぐカヌーはとてもすばらしい時間で、あっというまに過ぎてしまいました。

I went during the autumn foliage season. Although it was a weekday, there were about eight groups, and more than half were beginners. There is a thorough briefing beforehand, so it's reassuring. The instructors are all foreigners, but they speak Japanese well and provide fun advice while joking around as they paddle alongside you. There are paid photo services, but I really appreciated the service where they take pictures with your own phone. My friend's canoe initially struggled to move smoothly and kept bumping into various places, but after getting the hang of it, she was able to paddle easily in the second half. The course starts and returns, but the river's flow is gentle, so it's not too difficult (there are points where you have to paddle hard to make progress). At the turnaround point, the autumn leaves on the rock face were breathtakingly beautiful, and I was moved. I definitely want to participate again next year. There is a spot where you can get off the canoe in shallow water. They offer free rentals of Crocs, but if you're participating in the cold water of autumn, it's better to wear rubber boots.

平日でしたが私 全部で8組位いて半数以上が初心者の方でした。事前にしっかりとレクチャーがあるので安心です。インストラクターの方は皆さん外国の方ですが日本語も上手で冗談を言いながら楽しくアドバイスしながら並走してくれます。写真は有料の所がありますが、こちらは自分の携帯で撮ってくれるサービスがとても嬉しいです。友達のカヌーは初めは色んなところに突っ込んでなかなか上手く進められませんでしたがコツを掴んでからの後半はスイスイ漕げるようになっていました。スタートして折り返し戻ってくるコースですが、川の流れが緩やかなのでそんなに大変ではないです。(ポイントで一生懸命漕がないと進まない所あり)折り返しの地点では岩壁にある紅葉が息を飲む程の美しさで感動しました。来年も絶対に参加したいです。途中浅瀬でカヌーから降りる所があります。無料でクロックスの貸出しはありますが水が冷たい秋に参加される方は長靴を履いていった方が良いですよ。

I participated in this tour to refresh myself in Jozankei while visiting my hometown. I nervously signed up for the beginner canoe course at Bibikawa, fearing the possibility of capsizing. Fortunately, the weather was great, and the guidance from my companions and the instructor was spot on. I was able to enjoy my first canoe experience for about an hour without capsizing (which apparently happens very rarely).

For the first 10 minutes, we were the typical example of a "couple out of sync," bumping into the riverbank in various directions! However, since the current was gentle, if the person sitting in the back takes control, we quickly made progress from being complete beginners. In mid-September, I booked rafting as the main event of my trip to Hokkaido. There seemed to be several facilities where you could go rafting, but my top priority was to find one that was within an hour's drive from Sapporo.

On the day of the event, the meeting place was easy to find. Thanks to the rain, a mist-like phenomenon was rising from the surface of the river, creating a mystical atmosphere. The river's flow was calmer than I had imagined, but descending the cliff to the river on a single rope and the jumping spots were thrilling and very exciting. The two instructors were very entertaining, and the time flew by. They also took many photos and videos during the rafting.

Since I planned to move to Furano after rafting in the morning, I was concerned about the scheduled end time of 1 PM, but we finished around 11 AM. After that, we bought some freshly baked bread from a delicious bakery in Jozankei and enjoyed it in the car while safely making our way to Furano. It was truly a fun rafting experience. Next time, I want to participate when the water flow is more intense.
