I was reminded of the importance of nature through the detailed explanations from our guide. The transportation to the hotel was also very helpful. We even encountered bears and deer during the drive. Shiretoko Five Lakes was blessed with good weather, and the lakes were very beautiful. We saw several deer as well. I was able to take lots of wonderful photos, and I'm smiling from ear to ear!

ガイドさんの詳しい説明で自然の大切さを改めて実感しました。ホテルまでの送迎も助かりました。
車中で熊や鹿にも会えました。知床五湖もお天気に恵まれて湖がとてもキレイでした。
鹿も何頭か出会えました。素敵な写真いっぱいとれてニンマリです！

The guide was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor, making the experience very enjoyable. The communication beforehand was also very thorough, which gave me a sense of reassurance. I participated in mid-October, and before the tour, we got to see fish being filleted from a boat that had just finished fishing, as well as a mother bear and her cubs from the car. The journey was filled with highlights, making it much more fulfilling than walking alone. The autumn leaves had just started to change, and it felt like they would be at their peak soon. Passing through a herd of deer at the end was a rare experience. I would love to participate again in a different season. Thank you very much for this experience!

10月の半ばに参加しましたが、ツアー前に漁を終えた船の魚さばきや車のなかからクマの親子を見たりと、道中もみどころを紹介してくださり、個人で歩くよりもとても充実していました。
紅葉もすこし始まっており、あと少しで見頃という感じ。
最後に鹿の群れのなかを通ってきたのは貴重な経験でした。

I participated in my first Shiretoko trip with my husband. It was a wonderful tour filled with information about the five lakes that you absolutely wouldn't know without the guide's insights! The guide had just the right amount of humor, making it enjoyable, and we were able to stroll along the walking paths at a leisurely pace, which left us very satisfied. I definitely recommend this for first-time visitors to Shiretoko, as well as for those who have been before.

初めての知床旅行で、夫と2人で参加させて貰いました。
ガイドさんから教えて頂かないと絶対知る事が出来ない五湖情報が、満載な素敵なツアーでした！
ガイドさんも程よいユーモアがあって楽しく、ゆっくり遊歩道を散策できて、大満足でした。
初回の知床旅行は勿論ですが、初回じゃない方にもオススメします。

The tour of the primeval forest was great, with a small group and a guide who provided detailed explanations. In the afternoon, the Shiretoko Five Lakes had a long wait due to bear sightings, but in the end, I was glad I could walk around. I would like to visit Shiretoko in a different season as well.

原生林のツアーは少人数でガイドさんも詳しく説明してくださって参加してとてもよかったです。午後からの知床五湖はクマの出没で待ち時間が長くなりましたが、結局歩くことができてよかったです。また知床には違う季節に行ってみたいと思います。

The weather was disappointing at the start of the trekking due to rain and fog, but I was able to enjoy it thanks to our guide, Mr. Umebayashi's explanations. The continuous rain had made the trails and the primeval forest quite muddy, so the inclusion of rubber boots for rent was really helpful. I would like to visit again in a different season.

トレッキングのスタート時は雨と霧で残念な天気でしたが、ガイドの梅林さんの説明で楽しむことが出来ました。連日の雨で遊歩道や原生林はぬかるみが多く、長靴の貸し出しも含まれていたので、本当に助かりました。また今度は別の季節に訪れてみたいと思います。

Due to bear sightings, some of the walking trails were closed, but they were later reopened, and I was able to experience everything.

I was informed that there might be cases where the closure doesn't get lifted, and they kindly provided several alternative options in that case.

The discussions covered a wide range of topics, including the ecology of the animals living there, the history of Shiretoko National Park, and the journey to becoming a World Heritage site, all of which were very fascinating. There were so many things I wouldn’t have noticed just by walking around, so it was a lot of fun.

I went with shoes that could get dirty, but since there were muddy areas due to the rain the day before, I was lent rubber boots. In reality, there were also large puddles, so the rubber boots were very helpful. I didn’t know the weather conditions from the previous day, so this consideration was greatly appreciated.

Additionally, they kindly shared information about nearby scenic spots and shops, which was very helpful.

I definitely want to use your services again, and I would like to request Ayano-san once more at that time.

My friend and I had a very meaningful time together.

熊の目撃情報により、１部の散策路が閉鎖中でしたが、後に解除になり全て体験出来ました。

解除にならない場合もあるそうで、その場合の選択肢もいくつか提案して下さいました。

棲んでいる動物の生態はもちろん、知床国立公園が出来上がるまでの歴史、世界遺産になるまでとそれに纏わる事など、話の幅がとても広く、大変興味深いお話でいっぱいでした。
ただ歩いているだけでは気づけない事だらけでしたので、すごく楽しかったです。

汚れて良い靴で行きましたが、前日の雨でぬかるみがあるからと長靴を貸して頂くことに。
実際は大きな水溜まりもあり、長靴様々でした。
前日の天気状況などわからなかったので、このようなご配慮も助かりました。

その他にも、近くの絶景ポイントやお店の事まで教えて下さったりとても親切にして頂きました。

ぜひ、また利用したいですし、
その時もまた綾野様にお願いしたいです(^^)

友人と２人、大変有意義な時間を過ごすことが出来ました。

I went rafting for the first time with my male colleagues during our trip to Sapporo. Since it was late September, I was a bit worried that the current might not be gentle, but when we arrived, the flow was just right and the terrain had enough drops to provide a thrilling experience. Thanks to the dry suits, we didn't feel cold at all, and we were able to have a great time getting soaked together!

From the training to the experience and even afterward, the staff, who were full of enthusiasm, created a fun atmosphere throughout, making it a fantastic memory. The photos and videos taken as an option were also of great quality, and I was very satisfied!

同僚たち（男複数人）と一緒に、札幌旅行でラフティングに初挑戦しました。9月下旬ということで、流れが穏やかではないかと不安もありましたが、現地に着くと適度な流れと地形の落差があり、十分スリルを味わえる体験となりました。ドライスーツのおかげで寒さを感じることもなく、男同士でびしょ濡れになりながら思い切り楽しめることができました！
講習から体験中、体験後まで、サービス精神旺盛なスタッフさんが終始楽しい雰囲気で指導してくれたおかげで、最高の思い出になりました。オプションで撮影してもらった写真や動画も画質が良く、大満足です！

In late September, which is colder compared to Honshu, the free rental raincoats kept us warm, and the life jackets were also free, providing peace of mind. Unlike river kayaking, this was calm, so helmets weren't necessary, allowing for beautiful photos.

The day before it rained, and unfortunately, it was cloudy on the day of our outing, but the blue of the lake and the river running alongside it was beautiful, and we even saw some fish. The guide's talk was enjoyable, and I was happy that they shared the photos and videos taken on the boat. It was a great keepsake since we usually don't get to take pictures of ourselves.

I heard that it's possible to participate in winter as well, so I would like to join again. Thank you very much.

本州と比べると寒い9月下旬、無料レンタルの上下別レインコートで寒さも防げるし、ライフジャケットも無料なので安心。川のカヤックと違い穏やかなので、ヘルメット不要なので写真も綺麗に写れる。
前日は雨で当日もあいにくの曇り空だったが、湖やその横を走る川の青さ(碧さ)も美しく、お魚も見られました。ガイドさんのトークも楽しくて、船上で撮影してくれた写真や動画もシェアしてくれて嬉しかった。なかなか自分達では撮られないので良い記念になりました。
冬も参加できるとのことでしたので、また参加したいと思いました。

The boat ride was quite thrilling. While stopped, the swells made some people feel seasick. The Blue Cave was beautiful with the light shining through. Seeing the Herring Palace from the sea reminded me of the Golden Kamuy.

ボート航行中はなかなかのスリル。停止中はうねりで、酔う方もおられました。青の洞窟は光がさして美しかったです。海側から見る鰊御殿には金カムを思い出してました。

I traveled by rental car from Sapporo and participated in the 7:00 tour. The parking lot was close to the dock, and boarding was smooth. Although I made the reservation the day before, there were about 10 participants, and it was nearly full. Due to the rain the day before, there were some waves, and it was a bit rocky. It felt like a light amusement park ride, so those who are not good with that might feel scared and a bit seasick. Also, since it was early in the morning, there was no waiting time for the cave, and we could go in and out several times to enjoy sightseeing. The angle of the sun in the morning was good, and it was nice to enjoy the beautiful emerald green sea surface.

札幌市内からレンタカーで移動し、7:00のツアーに参加しました。駐車場から船着場までも近く、乗船までもスムーズでした。前日の予約でしたが、参加者は10人ほどいてほぼ満席でした。前日までの雨の影響でやや波があり、まぁまぁ揺れました。遊園地の軽いアトラクションみたいな感じで、苦手な人は恐怖を感じる＆船酔いでちょっと辛そうでした。また、朝一ということで、洞窟の待ち時間もなく、何度か出入りして存分に観光することができました。朝は太陽の入射角が良いようで、きれいなエメラルドグリーンの海水面が楽しめたのもよかったです。

It was a perfect day for canoeing with clear skies and no wind. I was able to slowly experience the quiet Kushiro River with no one in front or behind my canoe. I soon spotted a sapphire-colored kingfisher, a mother and baby deer, and what I thought was a squirrel turned out to be a mink, along with a red-crowned crane. According to the guide, when there are canoes in front and behind, the animals tend to hide in the grass, so I was lucky.

晴天で風もない絶好のカヌー日和。
自分のカヌーの前後には誰もいない静かな釧路川をゆっくりと体験できました。
すぐに瑠璃色のカワセミ、親子の鹿、リスかと思ったらなんとミンク、タンチョウも見ることができました。ガイドさん曰く、前後にカヌーがいると動物たちも草陰に逃げていくそうでラッキーでした。

However, exploring on our own versus with someone knowledgeable about Shiretoko is definitely a different experience. Thanks to Ayano, who is calm, humorous, and knowledgeable, our walk was meaningful. I had some concerns about bears, so having someone with us was reassuring. I'm glad we asked for this. Thank you very much.

ただ、自分達で回るのと、知床に詳しい方と一緒に回るのでは興味深さが断然違います。穏やか　かつユーモアと知識豊富な綾野さんのおかげで有意義な散策となりました。熊についても不安があったので一緒についていて下さると心強いです。お願いしてよかったです。ありがとうございました。

I stayed at a hotel close to the meeting point, but I was a little late due to traffic. However, the staff was very polite from the time I called. Although they were foreign, their Japanese was very polite, and the jokes on board were funny! It felt much better to ride outside while enjoying the breeze. The weather was nice, so I thought the reservation line must be very popular!

集合場所まで近いホテルに泊まったにも関わらず、道が混んでいたので少し遅刻しましたが、電話の時から丁寧な対応でした。
外人さんでしたが、日本語はとても丁寧で船内のジョークも面白かったです！
船内より外で風を浴びながら乗る方が気持ちよかったです。
天気も良かった為、予約の電話がすごく人気があるんだなと思いました！

Due to the rain from the previous day, the water level was high, and we had a great time rafting. I hope to enjoy it again next spring when the water is high. I'm also happy to receive the photos and data.

The tour with explanations was indeed great. This time it was 1.5 hours, but it went by in no time. Next time, I would like to participate in the 3-hour tour.

やはり、説明があってのツアーはよかったです。今回は1.5hの方でしたが、あっという間でした。次回は3hの方で参加したいと思います。

The guide was a really bright and pleasant person, which was great. I wasn't very good at swimming, but they helped me by holding onto a float. The Blue Cave was sunny, but it was dark inside and the surface of the water wasn't that blue. The underwater was blue. The distance from the office to the sea was quite steep and challenging. It became a fun memory.

ガイドさんは凄く明るく感じの良い人でよかったです。
泳ぎがあまり上手くありませんでしたが浮き輪に捕まって手伝っくださいました。
青の洞窟は晴れていましたが中は暗く水面はそこまで青くなかったです。水中は青でした。
事務所から海までの距離が急坂で結構ありそれがかなり大変でした。

It was my first time kayaking, and I was blessed with great weather, enjoying the magnificent scenery and the beautiful blue of Lake Shikotsu! There were many participants that day, and they really got everyone excited by taking lots of photos, referring to themselves as teams from different prefectures (laughs). I had a wonderful time. I had a wonderful time participating. I joined with my mother, and the advance communication, as well as the preparation and instructions on how to use binoculars, were very helpful. The pace was just right, and the conversation was engaging, so time flew by. It wasn't tiring at all. My mother also said she was glad to have joined. This was my first hiking tour, and I found it to be excellent, so I highly recommend it.

大変、気持ちよく参加出来ました。
自分は母と参加させていただきましたが、事前連絡もそうですが、双眼鏡とかの準備、使用方法などをレクチャーしていただき大変ためになりました。
ペースもちょうど良く、話も飽きがないのであっという間に時間は経ちました。
全然しんどくもなかったです。
母もいい人で良かったと言ってました。
こういうハイキングのツアーは初めてでしたが、大変良いと今回のツアーで思いましたのでおすすめです。

I participated in the 2-hour course. Although it rained, the time flew by and we had a lot of fun. The course included areas that felt like a dense jungle, and the children were very happy. I joined during the waiting time before my flight home, and it turned out to be more enjoyable than I expected; I'm glad I participated in this tour.

After reaching the endpoint by canoe, all participants took a van back. On the day of the event, four families participated, and I think there were a total of 12 people, including children. Due to the rain, we boarded a single closed vehicle to return to the starting point. Two families knew each other and spent the entire ride talking and laughing loudly, which made me concerned about the risk of COVID-19 infection. There were no COVID-19 prevention measures in place.

2時間コースに参加しました。
あいにくの雨でしたが、楽しくあっという間に時間が過ぎました。
コースは密林の様なところを進んでいく場所もあり、子供がとても喜んでいました。帰りの飛行機までの待ち時間に参加しましたが、思ったより楽しく、参加してよかったツアーです。
カヌーで終点まで行ったあと、ワゴン車に参加者すべてが乗って帰ります。参加当日は4家族が参加し、子供を含め全部で12人いたと思います。雨が降ったせいもありますが、1台の締め切った車に乗り込んで出発地点まで帰りました。
2家族が知り合い同士で、この2家族が到着までずっと大声で話したり笑ったりしていて、コロナの感染が心配でした。
コロナ感染対策が出来ていなかった。

The explanation was thorough and in a relaxed manner. The time flew by. Additionally, there was someone who got seasick, but it was nice to see how they took care of them politely and made sure not to inconvenience the other guests.

悠長な日本語で説明が上手。あっという間の時間でした。
さらに船酔いをしてしまった人がいましたが、丁寧にお世話したり、他のお客さんを不快にしないように対応していた姿がよかったです。

Experiencing Hokkaido!!

Starting at 6 AM in light rain was a great choice, right? We were welcomed by many deer, and the guide was excellent at storytelling, making it the best experience.

北海道を体感！！

小雨の中6時スタートが良かったのか？シカさんがいっぱいお迎えしてくれガイドさんも話が上手くて最高の経験になりました。

It was pouring rain at the meeting point, but as we prepared, it turned into light rain, and by the time we started, it was sunny. In the end, the 80% chance of rain calmed down in front of the sunny weather. Since there were 8 participants in 4 groups, it was easy to hear the explanations, and we could enjoy the experience at a leisurely pace. We only encountered one deer, but observing insects, frogs, mushrooms, and trees was very interesting. The guide was a veteran (young) and was very attentive. We also had many photos taken. Thank you very much. The rain gear I brought was not needed, but I was glad it didn't rain. The rented boots (free) were very helpful.

集合時豪雨でしたが、準備をしているうちに小雨になり、スタート時には晴れてきました。結局80%の降水確率は晴れ男の前におとなしくなりました。4グループ8人の参加だったので説明も聞きやすく、ゆっくりペースで満喫できました。動物には鹿1匹しか出合いませんでしたが、昆虫、カエル、きのこ、木々の観察ができ興味深かったです。ガイドさんもベテラン（若い）でいろいろきをつかってkいろいろきをつかってくれました。写真もいっぱい撮影していただきました。有り難うございました。持参したレインウェアは役に立ちませんでしたが、雨降りにならず良かったです。レンタルした長靴（無料）は大変役に立ちました。

The captain's speaking skills and the bouncing boat were just as the reviews said, and it was a lot of fun! Reservations are required for at least two people, but when I mentioned I was coming alone, they kindly refunded me on the day. The service was very friendly and attentive. Although it was an early start at 7 AM, there were no other boats waiting at that time, so we could enjoy the Blue Cave at a leisurely pace, and the sea was calm. I heard that the afternoon trips were expected to have rough seas. Therefore, I recommend the early morning cruise! If you're prone to seasickness, it's a good idea to bring motion sickness medication, but if you focus on the distant view, you'll be fine!

船長のトーク力と飛び跳ねるボートは口コミ通りでとても楽しかったです！申し込みは2名分からとなり、1人参加と伝えたら当日返金してくださいましたし、対応が親切丁寧でした。朝7時と早起きでしたが、その時間帯は他に待機するボートがなく、ゆっくり青の洞窟を楽しめましたし、海も穏やかなんだそうです。その日も午後の便は海が荒れそうとのことでした。なので、朝イチのクルーズをオススメします！船酔いする方は酔い止めを用意した方がよいですが、遠くを見て楽しんでしまえば大丈夫です！

I signed up for this tour because I wanted my children to have an experience in Hokkaido for the first time. Since we had done kayaking a few times in the remote islands of Okinawa, we were able to do it smoothly, which was great. The scenery was truly Hokkaido, surrounded by mountains, with a light mist adding to the very magical atmosphere, and I was moved by its beauty. The children were also amazed by the clarity of the water. I learned that in winter, you can do this with snow piled up, so I want to come back in winter as well. It's a quick and easy tour, so I recommend it.

子供たちと初めての北海道で、何か体験をさせたくて、こちらのツアーを申し込みました。
沖縄の離島などで何度かカヤックを体験していたのでスムーズにできたのでよかったです。
景色は、さすが北海道だな〜という山に囲まれ、うっすら霧もでてきて、とても幻想的な雰囲気のなかその美しさに感動しました。
子供たちも、水の透明感などに驚いていました。
冬は雪が積もった中するとのことで、冬にも来たくなりました。
サクッとできるツアーなので、おすすめです。

The meeting place was a bit hard to find, but…
We shared the ride with two other families.
Once on board, we had a wonderful time the whole way!

The captain kept making dad jokes,
the pleasant sea breeze during the cruise,
the emerald green of the Blue Grotto,
the magical sunset, etc...

It was surprising that the Blue Grotto looks more beautiful on cloudy days than in clear weather.

I've heard that during the morning and daytime, other companies' boats create traffic at the Blue Grotto, so I recommend the evening trips!

朝と日中は他社船で青の洞窟が渋滞するそうなので、夕方便はオススメです！

We were blessed with good weather, and the guide's pacing was excellent, allowing us to enjoy a rich three hours. I learned about mushrooms that I wouldn't have noticed on my own and heard stories about the nesting sites of the great spotted woodpecker, making the trekking even without views of the lake quite enjoyable. Additionally, I was able to hear various stories about brown bears, which showed that our guide was experienced, allowing us to enjoy the nature of Shiretoko with peace of mind. If I have the opportunity again, I would like to participate with my wife next time.

天気に恵まれたこともありますが、ガイドの方の進行も良く、
密度の濃い3時間を過ごすことができました。
個人参加では気が付かないキノコのことや
アカゲラの営巣跡の話など、湖の見えないトレッキング時も
十分に楽しめました。
あと、ヒグマに関する話も色々伺えて経験豊かなガイドさんで
あることが分かり、安心して知床の自然を楽しめました。
また機会があれば次は妻と参加したいと思います。
