A trip to Hokkaido for the first time to meet friends from high school with three women in their 50s!
We wanted to do some sightseeing, but none of us wanted to drive... That's when we found Mr. Ikuta, a highly-rated sightseeing taxi driver, online.
We booked a 9-hour course, and while I had some anxiety about spending 9 hours with someone I didn't know, we ended up having a great time chatting from start to finish.
Here are my friends' opinions:
We were healed by the great nature of Furano and Biei.
Mr. Ikuta's thoughtful attention made our trip even more wonderful.
When he came to pick us up, he arrived a little early to the lobby.
During the trip, he made regular stops for bathroom breaks so we didn't have to worry.

I used the service for 3 hours, departing from the Asahikawa Hotel, and after stopping at the Christmas tree, Seven Mild Hill, and Shirahige Falls, I got off at Junpei. Originally, it was supposed to be about a 3.5-hour course, but I managed to complete it in under 3 hours by taking all the photos in just 5 minutes. The driver came to pick me up at the hotel lobby and communicated with me using a translation device, so everything went smoothly without any inconvenience. He took great photos and was very kind in guiding me, which I really appreciated. I brought a tripod, but I didn't need it. I plan to use this service again with my family next time.

I booked a plan to see the winter scenery of Biei from a hotel in Asahikawa and be taken to Asahikawa Airport in three hours. I was able to efficiently visit Asahikawa City → Biei → Blue Pond → Farm Tomita → Asahikawa Airport. There are several options for day tour bus trips, but since I only had half a day, I opted for a sightseeing taxi, which was a bit pricey but turned out to be a great decision. It helped me escape the heat, and I was able to visit some recommended spots that were outside of my original requests. The ice cream shop near Asahikawa Airport was very delicious.
