I chose this highly-rated plan from Veltra because it was during Golden Week and I have an elderly father. Since the hotel dinner time was fixed, I made a reservation for a 5 PM departure. On the day of the tour, I received a call asking if it was okay that we wouldn't be able to see the night view at that time.
Since it was an early departure, the roads were not congested and there was only one car in the parking lot, allowing us to enjoy the sightseeing very smoothly. The scenery was breathtaking.
During the trip, we received a lot of explanations, and at Mount Hakodate, we took many photos, creating wonderful memories. Thank you, Driver Takiguchi, for your assistance.
ゴールデンウィーク中と言うことと、高齢の父がいるため、ベルトラの中から評価が高いこちらのプランを選びました。
ホテルの夕食時間が決まっているため、17時出発で申し込みをしていました。
当日、この時間では夜景は見られないけれど大丈夫ですか、とわざわざ電話を下さいました。
早い時間の出発だったため、道も混むことなく駐車場も1台のみで、とてもスムーズに観光をすることができました。
景色も圧巻でした。
道中、たくさんの説明をしていただき、函館山では、たくさんの写真を撮っていただき、良い思い出となりました。

Mr. Nakamura from Nakamura Taxi came to pick us up at the hotel a little before the scheduled time. The night in Hakodate in mid-April was still cold, and a spring coat was a bit insufficient. The weather was cloudy, and the wind at the observation deck of Mount Hakodate was chilly, but our driver, Mr. Nakamura, talked with us while we enjoyed the night view from the glass-floored area until the time when the view was at its best. The night view we saw there was also quite beautiful.
As it got darker, we moved to the observation deck via the elevator, and it was breathtaking. My husband has a chronic illness, so walking was a bit challenging, but we truly appreciated the consideration given to our transportation and parking arrangements. Thank you very much.

I found out that the ropeway was out of service and made a reservation three days ago. My reservation was for 5 PM, but I received a prior notice that due to expected traffic, we should leave 15 minutes earlier, so they picked me up at the hotel at 4:45 PM. As expected, traffic had started, but after a short wait, we were able to enter the parking lot. Thanks to leaving early, I was able to see the beautiful sunset sky. Despite the crowds, they guided us to a relatively less crowded spot, allowing us to smoothly enjoy the night view and take photos, creating great memories. I was dropped off at Hakodate Station on time, passing by the long line of people waiting for the bus. Thank you very much!

Due to the ropeway being out of service, I was torn between taking a route bus, the Hakodate Night View bus, or a taxi, and ultimately decided to use the taxi.
To conclude, it was fantastic. I would like to use it again the next time I visit Mount Hakodate. I also hope I can request the same driver next time.
With the driver's guidance, we smoothly navigated through the crowds at the summit, and he provided explanations about the night view and pointed out great photo spots. It was wonderful that he took photos while illuminating them with his light.

路線バスは立ち乗車している人もいて、山頂では長蛇の列でした。タクシーにしたおかげでそれらを回避でき、60分と時間も決まっているので予定が立てやすく、ほかの観光に時間を割くことができました。
路線バスより値段は上がりますが、効率よく函館観光したい方におすすめです！

I discovered this tour when I wasn't sure how to get around Hakodate for the first time. They took me around various places by taxi, accommodating my wishes as much as possible, and I found out they offer a remarkable policy of 100% refund if you cancel more than an hour in advance.
We gathered at Hakodate Station, where they welcomed us with a sign from the travel company that had our names on it. Our friendly driver, Matsuyama, took us to classic spots in Hakodate like Goryokaku Tower, Goryokaku, the convent, Honmachi Slope, and a power spot shrine.
I thought there might be too many places to visit quickly, but even with a short stay, I felt over 80% satisfied with the experience, which was a great deal. Of course, if you want to take it slow, just let them know, and they will adjust accordingly!
The conversation was just the right amount, and Matsuyama matched our pace, making it very relaxing to chat. On the way back, I was dropped off at a sushi restaurant, but I specifically requested Matsuyama to take me to the Red Brick Warehouses (laughs).
Next time I come to Hakodate, I would love to have him guide me on the night view course! Thank you so much for today!

タクシーでいろいろ回ってくれて、行きたいところも可能な限り希望に沿ってくれて、キャンセルが何と１時間以上前なら100%返金という破格の待遇を発見
函館駅に集合で指定したところ、旅行会社でやる御一行の旗に名前を書いてお出迎えしてくれました
気さくなおじさんドライバー松山さんが五稜郭タワー、五稜郭、修道院、本町坂、パワースポット神社など、函館定番の場所をを回ってもらいました。
意外と回る場所多いから足早かなって思いましたが、要所を抑えて観光するため少しの滞在時間だけれど、満足感8割以上で大変お得でした。
もちろん、ゆっくりしたい時はその旨伝えれば調整してくれます！
おしゃべりは適度でこちらのリズムに合わせて話してくれるのですごくリラックスしてお話しできました
帰りはお寿司屋さんで降ろしてもらいましたが、赤レンガ倉庫までの送迎は松山さんを指名で呼んじゃいました（笑）
次函館来る時は夜景コースで案内してもらいたいです！

During the holiday, I decided to take a taxi to see the night view of Mount Hakodate to avoid the crowds at the ropeway. I chose an 18:00 pickup, but after consulting with the driver, he suggested it was still too early, so we changed the order of our tour. We were able to see the City Hall, Hachiman-zaka, and the churches while it was still light out, and then we headed to Mount Hakodate. There were so many people! 今回、１泊２日でレンタカーを借りてなく、バスと電車で回ったので、行く所にも限界があり、このツアーに参加してなければ回れなかった教会・公園付近に行けたのはとても良かったです。

Since it's winter, I thought it would be difficult to wait for the bus or taxi on the way back, so I made this reservation.
The summit was incredibly crowded, but thanks to being guided to a less busy spot, I was able to enjoy the beautiful night view and take many photos with it as a backdrop. On the way back, we leisurely drove through the illuminated Motomachi and Bay Area, which wasn't part of the original plan, and I was very satisfied with that as well.

冬の時期ですので、帰りのバスやタクシーを待つのは大変だと思いこちらを予約しました。

I stayed at a hotel by the bay in Hakodate and wanted to visit Goryokaku before heading to the airport, but I was unsure if I could manage to take the streetcar, walk around for sightseeing, and then catch a good bus to the airport afterward...! I was quite confused while planning, so I made a reservation for a night view taxi as well.
Since I had already checked out of the hotel, I was grateful that I could change my reservation to Hakodate Station. I apologize for wandering around when we met.
The view of the snowy landscape from Goryokaku Tower left a much stronger impression on me than I had expected. I'm really glad I was able to visit during this season. The view from Mount Hakodate was also beautiful with the sun peeking through the clouds.
If I were traveling alone and walking, I probably wouldn't have gone unless I had a strong attachment to the place, so this became a wonderful memory.
Also, I appreciated that the kind driver suggested we stop by the Trappistine Monastery near the airport, which caters to tourists. I realized that having an explanation about the Hakodate Racecourse on the shuttle bus made a huge difference compared to not having one.

一人旅で歩きだったら、よほどの思い入れがないと私の場合なかなか足が向かなかったかと思いますので、大変良い思い出になりました。
また、空港近くにあるトラピスチヌも寄っていただけて、観光客に寄り添った提案をしてくださる優しい運転手さんだなぁと思いました。
函館競馬場も行きのシャトルバスだと見落としてたので説明があるのとないのだと全然違うなぁと思いました。
また函館に行く時は、道南ハイヤー(スマイルタクシー)さんにお願いしたいと思います！

The weather was unfortunately foggy, so we couldn't see much from the summit, but we were able to stop at a point halfway up where we could take photos. I'm really glad we did this, as it wouldn't have been possible without a taxi.
