Ayu Fishing in Shubuto River

Shubuto River, a pristine stream in Kuromatsunai, is home to wild ayu found only in southern Hokkaido. Local efforts preserve the ayu population, producing tall, large, and delicious fish.

With waders, stay dry as you follow the guide to top spots. "Tomozuri" uses long rods, and the guide assists with permits, bait, and techniques.

- Eligibility:
- Generally for 4th grade students and older (must fit waders; minimum shoe size: 22 cm).
Additional notes
- Operates in Rain: No
- Programs may be modified or canceled due to weather or other conditions. No fees will be charged for cancellations before the program starts. However, no refunds will be provided if the program is canceled after it has begun.
- Participation fees include insurance. Injuries during the program will be covered within the scope of the organizer's insurance.
- As the program mainly involves outdoor activities, unforeseen accidents may occur. For safety, please follow the instructions of guides and instructors.
The organizer and guides are not responsible for accidents caused by customer negligence or intentional actions.

- Comfortable clothing
- Skirts and wide-leg pants are not allowed as they make wearing waders difficult. Avoid heavy clothing like jeans, as waders can get humid in summer.
- Drinking water
- Change of clothes (in case of falling into the river)
- There are insects by the river, so wearing long sleeves and a hat is recommended.
- Polarized sunglasses (helpful but not required).
