Snowshoes, also known as Western-style kanjiki, let you walk easily on deep snow where regular shoes would sink.
The trees are completely covered in white, from trunks to branches, creating a magical contrast with the blue sky on sunny days. Enjoy the enchanting silver-white world!
When temperatures drop below -5°C, water droplets freeze onto trees, forming juhyo. While Zao is well known, Orofure Pass in Hokkaido is a hidden gem for seeing these frosty trees.
Ever wanted to dive into fluffy white snow? Enjoy playful moments in the snow as you explore the winter landscape.
Hot drinks are provided during the tour, offering a relaxing break in the snowy landscape.
