I visited during the Obon period in the third week of August. Unfortunately, due to continuous rain, I had to change my schedule over the phone, but the system was not processing properly, and there was no handover between the staff, resulting in duplicate communications from the administrative staff, which was disappointing.

On the day of the event, there were delays and troubles at the accommodation, and I realized I would arrive 10 minutes late at 9:40 for the 9:30 meeting at Lake Shikotsu. I called to inform them, but I was met with an intimidating response from the female staff member, who insisted that I hurry through the rainy mountain roads with unbelievable remarks. While I acknowledge that the lateness was my fault, I felt extremely uncomfortable with the way I was treated. (What would they do if I had an accident while rushing through the rain?)

I expressed my concerns about the intimidating response at the reception on the day of the event, and a young woman apologized. Although I did not expect it, they offered a discount on the tour fee (they said they would confirm with the representative and get back to me). The representative was present after the activity, but I did not receive any communication from them. There was no greeting either.

I enjoyed the activity, so I do not require any financial compensation, but the staff's poor response tarnished the opportunity to create precious memories with Hokkaido's beautiful nature. I urge the operating company to make improvements so that no one else feels like we did.

8月３週目のお盆時期に伺いました。
あいにくの降雨が続き、電話対応で日程を変更してもらいましたが、システムが処理が出来ていなかったり、担当者で引継ぎがされておりませんで事務担当の方から重複した連絡がありまして残念でした。
また当日、宿泊先で混雑とトラブルが重なり、9：30 支笏湖集合に対し9：40着の10分遅れになってしまうことが道中途中で判明したので連絡を入れたのですが、事務担当の女性から威圧的な対応を取られ、かつ雨天の山あいレンタカー道中を急いで来て下さいと信じられない言動があり、遅刻はこちらに非があるので強いことを言うべきでは無いのですが、対応に非常に不快な思いをしました。（降雨山中を急ぎスリップ事故でも起こしたらどう責任を取るのでしょうか。）

また当日の受付で上記の威圧的な対応に対しこちらの意見を申し、若い女性より謝罪を頂きました。
こちらは望んではいませんでしたが、ツアー代金のディスカウントの話が先方からありました（代表に確認して連絡するとのこと）アクティビティ終了後も代表の方もいらっしゃいましたが、お話も頂けておりません。※挨拶もありません。

アクティビティは楽しんだので金銭などの対応はいりませんが、あまりにもスタッフの対応が悪く、せっかくの北海道の貴重な自然との思い出を作る機会を汚しています。
二度と私達の様な気持ちにならない様にに催行会社の改善を求めます。

The weather was wonderful, and I had a fantastic experience. From the moment I made the reservation, my questions were answered quickly and kindly via email, which made me feel at ease. When I called because I didn't know how to get to the bus stop, they immediately came to pick me up, saying, "I'm on my way!" The instructor was friendly, and before I knew it, the time was up—I wanted to ride more. They also took photos for me, and I was very satisfied. Thank you for everything!

お天気に恵まれ、素晴らしい体験ができました。
予約時から質問にも、迅速かつ親切にメールで対応いただき安心できました。
またバス停から行き方がわからず電話をすると、今行きます！とすぐに迎えに来て下さいました。
インストラクターの方もフレンドリーで、あっという間に時間になってしまい、もっと乗りたいと思いました。

Unfortunately, the strong winds made it difficult to head out onto the lake, so I changed my plans and explored the Chitose River instead. The power of nature is unbeatable...

The Chitose River was also beautifully clear and transparent. I enjoyed ducking under the trees, discovering small waterfalls, and was shown points where I could see fish. It was a delightful adventure.

Next time, I would like to visit during a warmer season and try going out onto the lake.

あいにくの強風で湖に出ようにも前に進まず
予定を変更して千歳川を散策しました。
自然の力にはかないません･･･

千歳川も充分透明できれいでした。
木立の下をくぐったり、小さな滝を見つけたり
魚が見れるポイントを教えて頂いたり
冒険気分を満喫出来ました。

今度はもう少し暖かい時期に訪れて、湖に出てみたいです。

The weather was wonderful, warm, and with little wind, making it very enjoyable!

My 4-year-old son and 6-year-old daughter skillfully used their children's paddles and paddled along!

We started paddling from the Chitose River, so we were able to see fish, and the kids were very satisfied.

Ido, who taught us how to paddle and guided us, was very kind, took many photos, and was great with the kids. Plus, he recommended a delicious pork bowl restaurant! It was really tasty♡

The only thing I found disappointing was that the weather was too nice, and the glare on the lake's surface was strong, so we couldn't see the scenery reflected on the water. Still, since we were in a clear kayak, I could see well through the bottom, even though the reflections and waves made it hard to see outside!

If I have the chance again, I hope to see the scenery as if floating in the sky!

(For reference, I think the kids were fine in long-sleeved, long-pants rash guards. I put a windbreaker over them. Their sleeves and pants got a little wet. The kids felt cold after getting back to shore, so I think it would have been better to bring their shoes and outerwear in waterproof bags.)

天気に恵まれ暖かく、風も少なく、とても楽しめました！

4歳の息子と6歳の娘も子供用のパドルを上手に使い、漕いでいました！

千歳川から漕ぎ始めたので、魚も見れて子供達は大満足でした。

漕ぎ方を教えてくれ、案内してくれるイドさんは、とても親切で、たくさん写真も撮ってくれ、子供の扱いも上手でした。
それに、美味しい豚丼のお店も教えてくれました！とっても美味しかったです♡

私が唯一残念だったのは、天気が良すぎて湖面の照り返しが強く、湖面に景色が映る感じではなかったことです。
それでもクリアカヤックだったので、カヤックの外だと光の反射や波でよく見えない湖の中も、股の間からよく見えて楽しめました！

また、機会があれば、空に浮いているかのような景色が見れればと思います！

(参考までに、服装は子供も長袖長ズボンのラッシュガードにして問題なかったと思います。子供にはその上にウィンドブレーカーを着せました。

袖やズボンが少し濡れた程度でした。子供たちは、岸に上がってから寒がったので、靴と羽織り物は防水袋(防水袋)に入れて持って行けばよかったかも、と思います。
