The tip of Cape Kamui, which dramatically juts out into the open sea, is about 770 meters from the "women prohibited" gate. If you follow the walking path, which offers a magnificent view of the Sea of Japan on both sides, you can see a 300-degree panoramic horizon in about 20 minutes.

The steam clock located at the entrance of the main building of the Otaru Music Box Museum was built in 1977.There are only two remaining steam clocks in the world, with the other one located in Vancouver. The steam clock stands 5.5 meters tall and occasionally makes a steaming sound.
Kitaichi Glass Sangokan - This place, famous for Otaru's glass crafts, allows you to see and purchase handmade glass products. They offer a variety of beautiful items such as glass lamps and tableware.
Walking along the canal with cobblestone walkways and gas lamps allows you to feel the atmosphere of an old port town. In winter, the snow-covered scenery is beautiful, and the illuminated canal at night creates a romantic atmosphere.
