Jigokudani, Sairo, Chikyumisaki, Lake Shikotsu, and Showa Shinzan each had a stay of about 30 minutes. It felt a bit busy as we took photos and then gathered together. Since Lake Toya is a hot spring town, it was nice to have restaurants and souvenir shops where everyone could spend their time freely.
地獄谷、サイロ、地球岬、支笏湖、昭和新山はそれぞれ滞在時間３０分ほどでした。写真を撮ったら集合、という感じでちょっと忙しかったです。洞爺湖は温泉街ということで飲食店やお土産屋さんがあり各自で自由に過ごすことができて良かったです。
洞爺湖には足湯や手湯があり、利用したい方はタオルを持参すると良いです。

At first, I was planning to take the train from Sapporo, but as I researched, I found it quite far and time-consuming, so I discovered this tour. It’s really convenient since you just sit back and get taken there without any hassle.
On this day, the road conditions were very good, and we arrived much earlier than expected, which gave us more time for sightseeing—what a lucky break! The guide was also a fun and kind person.
I had heard that the penguin walk only happens in the morning in March, so I had given up on that, but to my surprise, they held the walk in the afternoon too! It was a delightful surprise.
I highly recommend this tour for anyone considering visiting Asahiyama Zoo from Sapporo.

I participated in the tour in late March. This place wasn't too cold, and although there was still some snow, it didn't fall during our tour that day. There was only one other group of Japanese people besides us. The guide was from China and provided explanations in Japanese, English, and Chinese. His Japanese was quite good, but if you don't pay close attention, you might miss important information... The bus etiquette of the foreign guests was very poor. The couple sitting next to me stood up dozens of times while the bus was moving to get their luggage from the overhead compartment or to change seats with each other. I was really worried they might stumble and fall over into my space.

The Okurayama Jump Stadium was snowy and cold, but it was great to see the students practicing their jumps. The Moerenuma Park was also nice, and there were many small snowmen decorated around the area, which was really wonderful, so I took a lot of photos.

I found a tour that included Asahiyama Zoo, Blue Pond, and Shirahige Falls, and I participated in it. The zoo is compact, but the exhibits were creatively arranged and enjoyable. The Blue Pond was bluer than I expected. Shirahige Falls was beautiful, even though we viewed it from a bridge a bit away. The Yubari melon was very sweet and delicious, and I ended up eating a lot. When I arrived at the meeting place, most of the participants were foreign tourists, so I thought I might have mistakenly signed up for a tour for foreigners. However, the guide was very experienced and provided explanations in Japanese, English, and Chinese, which made the sightseeing smooth.
From Sapporo, we had to travel a bit to reach Noboribetsu Onsen and Lake Toya, but we were able to move efficiently by bus and see everything, which was very satisfying. The guide also helped by taking photos at the photo points, which was a great help.

I was a bit scared to rent a car for a winter trip to Hokkaido with my aunt, so I decided to sign up for this tour. It was a great decision! The emotion I felt when I walked to Cape Kamoi and stood at the tip was incredible! It was a nice day with not much wind, but I imagined how difficult it must have been for people in the past to walk to such a point in bad weather and strong winds. It was a journey that made me reflect on the greatness of nature and the connection between humans and it.
I drove along the coastline and was captivated by the deep blue sea and the strange rock formations. Unfortunately, the sea urchin rice bowl was out of season, but I definitely want to try the sea urchin from Shakotan next time.

For the people of Hokkaido, it felt like spring had arrived, with temperatures and clear skies no different from those in the Kanto region, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful scenery.
From the top of Mount Usu, I was moved by the grandeur of Showa Shinzan and Lake Toya, the miracles of the Earth, and the local efforts to coexist with active volcanoes.
Usually, the temperature is significantly lower when getting off the ropeway compared to the base of the mountain, but this time I didn't mind at all and was able to fully appreciate the scenery from the heart.
I sat next to someone of the opposite sex who was also traveling alone on the bus, and our conversation picked up along the way, making me feel the joy of travel once again.
北海道の人にとって、春が来た？というほどの、関東と変わらぬ気温と快晴の空のもと、美しい景色を堪能しました。

いつもならロープウェイ降りるとかなり山の下より気温が低いらしいのが、全く気にならず心から景色を堪能できました。
バス席は一人参加で、同じく一人参加の異性の方のとなりでしたが、途中から話が盛り上り、旅の楽しさを改めて感じました。
