This tour was completely different from the last one, so I wanted to write about it.

First, the meeting point at Sapporo TV Tower was hard to find. There were many sightseeing buses nearby, and since there was no one to ask, I called the help center. The Chinese man who answered the phone asked, "Can you see the mountains?" and I was confused.

Due to traffic issues, we couldn't enter the highway and were an hour and a half late to the first location. However, there was no communication about this. We were only informed after arriving at Hell Valley.

The Chinese female guide provided explanations in Japanese, English, and Chinese, but she was only fluent in Chinese. There wasn't much information given about the tourist sites. I could tell that 70% of the passengers were Chinese, but even when I said multiple times that I didn't understand Chinese, she continued to speak in Chinese.

Additionally, it was very disappointing that it rained that day.

まずは札幌テレビ塔の集合場所が分かりにくいです。

観光地の情報もあんまり説明されませんでした。

The time allocation at each location was just right, and being able to visit so many places efficiently in one day is something only a tour can offer. I joined the tour as a solo participant. It was a tour with many foreign guests, and the guide and driver provided such warm hospitality that it made me, as a Japanese person, very happy. The driver was kind, giving a small snowman to a little child and brushing off snow from their clothes. However, the lunch buffet was somewhat lacking, and I wished that the guests from abroad could have enjoyed delicious Japanese food. Considering food waste, I thought it might be better to have something like a mini kaiseki instead of a buffet.

I was happy to visit Furano with my daughter for the first time in 30 years. On the way, we were able to see the beautiful autumn leaves covered in snow while crossing the mountain pass. Understanding what the locations are like before arriving can enhance the enjoyment, even if the guide's Japanese explanations are limited. The guide was very proactive in taking photos, which was appreciated for solo participants.

At the Toyako Onsen area, we had free time for lunch, but there were fewer restaurants. The restaurant I had researched had a four-person wait. Since lunch time was limited, I couldn't eat there and had to go somewhere else, which was a bit disappointing. I regretted not buying food at a convenience store before boarding or at the Seicomart near Lake Toya. We got caught in traffic just before arriving at Shikotsu Lake and arrived 40 minutes late. It was too dark to enjoy the sights of Lake Toya. The tour was planned to arrive just before sunset in Hokkaido, but that didn't happen, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, it was a packed itinerary, and I thought it might have been better if the time at the two souvenir stops was reduced. Thank you to the guide and driver for their long hours of service!

2023年10月30日利用。異常に暑い気温が長く続いたため紅葉は８分位。晴天だったので良い観光ができました。殆ど外国人の乗客でしたが、車内は静かでした。ガイドさんの説明時間は殆ど中国語でしたが日本語でも対応いただき良かったです。乗客が殆ど外国人の場合、事前に観光地の情報、知識等を自分で把握しておいて、ガイドさんの少な目な日本語の説明がなくても現地に到着してどういう所なのか、理解していると楽しみも増します。ガイドさんが写真を積極的に撮ってくださるので一人参加者の場合、ありがたかったです。洞爺湖温泉街で各自に自由な昼食になっていますが、レストランが少なめ。事前に調べていたレストランは4人待ち。昼食時間が限られているため、このレストランでは食べられず、別の所で食べましたがちょっと不満足感。集合前にコンビニで食物を買って乗車あるいは、洞爺湖近くにセイコーマートがあるのでそこで買えばよかったと悔やまれました。支笏湖到着間際に渋滞に巻き込まれ、40分遅れて到着。真っ暗で洞爺湖観光どころではありませんでした。ツアー予約前にぎりぎり北海道の日没時間前に間に合うかと思うプランでしたが、叶わず、ちょっと残念。総合的に盛りだくさんで、お土産2か所の時間を減らすと、いいかも？と思いました。ガイドさん、ドライバーさん長時間にわたってありがとうございました！

I was surprised to find that out of more than 40 passengers gathered at the meeting point and boarding the bus, only four were Japanese. With over 30 being Chinese and the guide also being Chinese, I felt quite out of place and started off with low energy. However, the guide spoke fluent Japanese, recommended famous spots, and provided explanations, showing great enthusiasm for taking photos, which made the experience very enjoyable. This was my second bus tour in Sapporo, and it was a tour where I could truly feel the great outdoors, leaving me very satisfied. I even thought I would like to request that guide again next time!

３０人以上が中国人で、ガイドさんも中国人と言う事に、かなりアウェイ感があり、テンション低めで、スタートしたが、ガイドさんが流暢な日本語で、名所おすすめや説明をしてくれ、写真を撮ってくれサービス精神旺盛でとても楽しめた。

I got to see the fox and On-chan in person.
