It was great to efficiently tour Lake Shikotsu and Lake Toya. The audio guides are available not only in Japanese but also in Chinese and English, which was convenient as I didn't have to interpret for my companions who don't understand Japanese. However, since we were a group, it might be unavoidable, but at the restaurant at Manseikaku, while the taste wasn't bad, everything except the salt-grilled chicken hot pot was completely cold, which was disappointing. Since there was also a buffet at the same restaurant, I think it would be nice to have the option to switch to the buffet for the meal.

支笏湖・洞爺湖を効率的に観光出来て、良かったです。音声案内が日本語だけでなく、中国語や英語もあるので、日本語がわからない同行者に、通訳する必要もなく、便利でした。ただ、団体なので仕方ないのでしょうが、万世閣のレストランでの食事で、味も悪くはないのですが、とり塩小鍋以外は、すべてのものが冷え切っていて、残念でした。同じレストランでビュッフェもあったので、食事をビュッフェに変更できるオプションがあればいいと思いました。

At the highly transparent Lake Shikotsu, I was looking forward to enjoying a sightseeing boat, but it was canceled due to strong winds. It was very disappointing, but at Lake Toya, I was able to experience the lakeside of the hotel where I had my meal, the Usuzan Ropeway, and the Silo Observatory, all surrounded by nature. However, there wasn't much time left, so I couldn't enter the bear ranch, and I would have preferred to skip the Mushroom Kingdom before the meal to have more time at Usuzan. On the way back, it was convenient to be able to get off at places like Susukino.

透明度の高い支笏湖では、遊覧船を楽しみにしていたのですが強風のため運航中止。とても残念でしたが、洞爺湖では食事したホテルの湖畔や有珠山ロープウェイ、サイロ展望台と大自然に触れることが出来ました。
ただ、予定時間が余りなくクマ牧場へは入場出来ず、できれば食事前のキノコ王国を無しにして有珠山の時間をとってほしかった。
帰りは、すすきの等途中下車できるのが便利でした。

I had a great time being taken around from morning until evening. Both Lake Shikotsu and Lake Toya were very beautiful. Mount Usu was foggy, so I couldn't see anything from the ropeway, but I think I'll come back someday. The lunch at Banseikaku was also luxurious. The guide and the driver were cheerful, which was nice.

　朝から夕方まで連れまわしてもらい楽しかったです。支笏湖、洞爺湖ともにとても美しかったです。有珠山はガスっててロープウエイは何も見えなかったのでまたいつか来ようと思います。万世閣の昼ご飯も豪華でした。ガイドさんと運転手さんが明るくて良かったですね。

I enjoyed riding a boat on Lake Shikotsu, taking in the clear lake bottom and surrounding scenery. At Lake Toya, I savored a meal and enjoyed the hot springs, and at Mount Usu, I took the ropeway and enjoyed the view from the summit while eating soft serve ice cream. Unfortunately, due to rain, I couldn't take photos of Nakajima Island in Lake Toya from the Silo Observatory, but it was a well-balanced tour. I tend to get bored if there’s too much focus on nature, scenery, transportation, or food, but the overall length of the tour was just right.

支笏湖で船に乗り、透明感の高い湖底や周囲の景色を楽しみ、洞爺湖では食事と温泉を楽しみ、有珠山ではロープウェイや山頂からの景色を楽しみソフトクリームを食べました。残念ながら、サイロ展望台では雨のため洞爺湖の中島を含む写真を撮れなかったのですがバランスがよいツアーでした。どうして自然、景色、乗り物、食事などに偏りがあると飽きてしまうのですがツアー全体の時間の長さもちょうど良かったです。

I participated with my son.
It was my first experience with a bus tour, but I was very satisfied as we were able to visit all the places I wanted to go.
The weather was nice, and the scenery was amazing.

I had high expectations for lunch at the Lakeside Hotel, but it was a bit cold, which was disappointing.

As an option, I really wanted to go to a hot spring, so I squeezed it in despite the time constraints.
It was a lovely hot spring, but I would have been happier with a bit more time.

I discovered the convenience, ease, and fun of bus tours.

Mount Usu was shrouded in thick fog, and while we took the ropeway to the summit, we couldn't see the crater or Lake Toya. At Lake Shikotsu, strong winds caused the sightseeing boat to be canceled. Although the tour is affected by the weather, there were many great sights to see, such as Showa Shinzan and the Shikotsu Lake Visitor Center. The foot bath at Lake Toya was very pleasant. On the bus, we could listen to various sightseeing explanations in four languages through headphones, which kept us entertained. I think it would be an amazing tour if the weather is good.

有珠山は霧が濃くロープウェイで頂上迄は行きましたが火口も洞爺湖も見られず。支笏湖では風が強くで水中観光船が欠航でした。天気に左右されるツアーではありますが、昭和新山や支笏湖ビジターセンターなどが観光出来て良かったものも沢山。洞爺湖では足湯が気持ちいい。バスの中では色々な観光説明が4ヶ国語でヘッドフォンで聞くことが出来るし退屈しなかった。天気が良ければ最高のツアーだと思います。

The guide was very kind and it was great. The timing at each stop was just right, and the bear ranch was a lot of fun. I also enjoyed a delicious lunch. It was a pity that we couldn't ride the boat due to bad weather, but we still had a good time even with the clouds.

Before participating, I honestly thought it would be dull compared to the classic tours of Furano in Hokkaido or the summer tours of Shakotan. However, once I joined, I was able to feel the grandeur of nature created by volcanic activity, and it turned out to be much more interesting than I expected. I was particularly impressed by the columnar jointing visible from the underwater sightseeing boat on Lake Shikotsu, as well as the greatness of nature centered around volcanic activity, including Mount Usu and Showa Shinzan. I think the uniqueness of Showa Shinzan is a must-see.

Additionally, the torishio soup hot pot for lunch was delicious. Overall, it was a very satisfying tour.

参加する前は、正直、北海道の定番の富良野や、夏の積丹などのツアーと比較して、地味だなあと思っていました。しかし参加してみると、火山活動が生み出した、大自然の雄大さを感じられて、予想以上に面白く、大満足のツアーでした。特に、支笏湖の水中遊覧船から見える柱状節理、有珠山・昭和新山など、火山活動を中心とした自然の偉大さを感じることができて非常に良かったです。特に、昭和新山の異様さは必見だと思います。
また、とり塩スープ鍋膳の昼食もおいしかったです。全般的に大満足のツアーでした。

I thought there would be many inbound tourists in Hokkaido, but this time it was the worst. When I arrived at the tour reception desk, there was an unusual smell of garlic and a lot of noise. After finally checking in and boarding the bus, a Chinese mother with an infant was having a loud argument with the guide over seating. It seemed she didn't know that "infants should sit on laps" and was occupying an entire row of seats. When she was told about it, she got defensive.

The bus finally started moving, but the infant was right behind my seat, crying loudly throughout the tour. The mother didn't seem to be trying to soothe the child, and everyone on the bus appeared to be enduring the situation, but we were all at the mercy of this inconsiderate family. Fortunately, I had earplugs, but even so, the baby's cries echoed in my head, making it impossible to focus on the audio guide. Given the circumstances, all I could do was endure.

The natural tourist spots like Lake Shikotsu and Lake Toya were surrounded by refreshing air and were wonderful, but as soon as we got off the bus, several chubby middle-aged Chinese men started smoking while walking and littering. It ruined the sightseeing experience. There were some people, like those from Singapore and Indonesia whom I got to know, who adhered to time and manners, but even knowing the cultural differences, it was still bothersome.

I've heard that the number of travelers from relatively nearby countries like China and South Korea has significantly increased recently. While inbound tourism is good, I hope that the minimum rules are followed at travel destinations. In that regard, I would like travel companies to think a little more about how everyone can enjoy their trips together.

北海道もインバウンドのお客さんが多いと思っていましたが、イヤハヤ今回は最悪でした。
ツアー受付窓口に着くと、周囲は異様なニンニク臭と喧騒です。
やっとチェックインを済ませバスに乗り込むと、乳児を連れた中華系の母親が席をめぐってガイドさんと大声でひと悶着やっています。
どうやら「乳児は膝の上」と言うことを知らずに席一列を占領しているようで、その事を注意され逆ギレしているようです。
どうにかバスは動き始めますが、その乳児は私の席のすぐ後ろで、ツアー中終止むづがり大声でギャーギャー泣く始末。
母親はあやす風でもなく、バス内は皆我慢しているようでしたが、この非常識な親子連れに振り回わされっぱなしです。
幸い私は耳栓を持っていましたが、それでも乳児の声は頭に響き、イヤホンガイドどころではありません。相手が相手だけにじっとガマンの一字です。
支笏湖や洞爺湖の自然豊かな観光地は爽やかな空気に包まれ、すばらしいものでしたが、ここでもバスを降りるや中華系の小太りの中年男性数人が「歩き煙草」で煙を撒き散らしはじめポイ捨て状態。せっかくの観光が台無しです。
中には知り合いになったシンガポールやインドネシア人のように時間やマナーをしっかり守る人達もいましたが、文化の違い？と判っていても迷惑な話です。
最近では比較的近い中国や韓国の旅行者が相当増えていると聞きます。
インバウンドも良いですが、旅行先では最低限のルールは守ってもらいたいものです。
その点では旅行会社もお互いが楽しく旅行が出来るように、もう少し知恵を絞って頂きたいと思います。

I think we were able to efficiently enjoy lunch, including the cable car fare, at a reasonable price. The guide was an audio guide, which also had options in languages other than Japanese. It was disappointing that the lunch, which should have been warm, was served cold, possibly to save time. I believe it would have been better if the bus stop times at each sightseeing location were a bit longer. It was helpful that they asked for our preferences regarding the drop-off location for the return bus.

It was a tour that allowed us to enjoy both Lake Shikotsu and Lake Toya. It was great to have a panoramic view of Lake Toya from the Sairo Observatory. The 15-minute stay felt a bit short; I wish we had about 30 minutes!

The bus was nearly full, with the second bus joining us later. The composition of passengers in the first bus seemed to be about 60 to 70 percent tourists from Asia. It was a multilingual tour that was almost full, but there were only four Japanese participants. We joined as a pair, but everyone was quite quiet, and I didn't realize there were other Japanese participants until the end. There were unavoidable delays due to icy road conditions. It was disappointing that the lunch was cold, even the rice. I regretted skipping the hot spring because I was worried about getting cold, but it turned out to be a good decision. I ended up catching a fever after the trip due to fatigue from the cold.

I participated on a Saturday in November, and there were even two buses. It seems to be a popular tour. There was no guide, just a tour conductor and an audio guide. The audio guide was available in four languages, and there were many foreign participants from Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan, and China.

The course that includes meals and visits both Lake Shikotsu and Lake Toya is quite rare, and I think the price is reasonable. Unfortunately, the weather on the day of participation was not great, but even so, there was a rainbow over Lake Toya, and it was very beautiful.

On November 8th, it was unfortunately rainy, but my two friends and I visited Hokkaido for the first time. The bus guide was very polite, and despite the rain, we were moved by the great nature. I participated alone as a woman in my 50s. On the day of the tour, there were two buses, and my bus had 35 passengers. All the sightseeing information was provided through headphones. The tour was available in Japanese, English, Chinese, and Korean, so about 70-80% of the guests were foreigners.

Being a bit greedy, I joined many of the optional activities, and it was helpful that many of them were discounted on this tour. First, we took a sightseeing boat on Lake Shikotsu. The boat had glass walls, allowing us to see into the lake, but unfortunately, the water was murky due to a recent typhoon. However, it was the season for autumn leaves, so the surrounding scenery was stunning.

We spent 85 minutes at Lake Toya. The chicken soup hot pot was very delicious. The dining area had tables arranged by group, so as a solo traveler, I could enjoy my meal without feeling awkward. There were four other solo participants from the two buses, but everyone had separate tables. After finishing my meal early, I strolled around Lake Toya and took a bath. The newly renovated eighth-floor bath was a stylish infinity pool that felt integrated with the lake, and I was very satisfied. 当日はバス2台。私のバスは３５人の乗客でした。観光案内は全てヘッドホンで聞きます。
日、英、中、韓に対応しているので外国人のお客さんが7〜8割くらいでした。

欲張りな性格なのでオプションにもたくさん参加しましたがこのツアーだと割引きになるものが多く助かりました。
まず支笏湖では観光船に乗りました。船内がガラス張りになっていて湖の中が見られるようですが、少し前の台風の影響で湖が濁っていてそこは残念でした。
ちょうど紅葉の季節だったので周りの景色は最高でした。

洞爺湖は８５分。
食事は鳥スープ鍋がとても美味しいかったです。
食事会場ではテーブルがグループごとになっているのでひとりの私は周りに気兼ねなく食事できました。私の他にもひとり参加の方が2台のバスで４人いましたがみなさん別々のひとりテーブルでした。
食事を早めに済ませ洞爺湖散策をし、入浴もしました。
リニューアルしたての8階のお風呂は湖と一体化したようなおしゃれなインフィニティになっていて大満足。 1階にも風呂があり、時間で男女入れ替えになっているようなので、男性はこの時間は1階かもしれません。時間がなくお風呂滞在は30分くらい。大急ぎとなりましたがしばらく身体はポカポカでした。

有珠山ロープウェイで火口を見学した後にクマ牧場へ行きました。
規模が小さめなのでクマさんにエサをあげたりして時間内で楽しめます。

サイロ展望台ので後はまったりおやすみタイムで帰路。
私はオプションにもたくさん参加しましたが、
各所をゆっくり観光している方も多く、ソフトクリームを食べたり思い思いの時間の過ごし方が出来ます。

お国柄なのか? 時間に少しルーズなお客さんがいましたが、ガイドさんが何度も［少し前に戻って］と声かけてしていたので後半は時間を守っていました(笑)

1日で札幌近郊の自然を満喫出来たツアーでした。

The weather was cloudy, and it was a bit disappointing that the scenery wasn't very clear, but it was nice to efficiently visit two lakes and Mount Usu. The meal felt like something you would eat after being awake for a long time and wasn't very tasty, so I thought it would have been better to eat whatever we liked at the Mushroom Kingdom.
