I wanted to go to Lake Saroma and made a reservation, but due to a large number of insects near the scenic area, I was given various suggestions for different tourist spots and taken to those places. Among them, Cape Notoro and the Abashiri Museum of Local History were particularly impressive. On the way back to the airport, we also took a scenic route that doesn't have tourist buses, allowing me to have a satisfying experience. I am very grateful.

After being picked up from the hotel where I stayed, I had requested a three-hour course that included the Abashiri Prison, the Okhotsk Drift Ice Museum, and some recommended spots, followed by a trip to Memanbetsu Airport. The driver took me to a colorful flower garden and Cape Notoro. I thought it would be difficult to make it to Cape Notoro in time, so I was moved to see the black-and-white lighthouse against the blue sky and the Sea of Okhotsk! It was also enjoyable to hear stories about winter drift ice and Abashiri during the drive. I highly recommend it!
宿泊したホテルにお迎えに来ていただいた後、希望していた網走監獄、オホーツク流氷館、後はオススメの所へ、その後女満別空港へと言う3時間のコースでお願いしてありました。運転手さんが連れて行って下さったのはカラフルに咲きほこっているフラワーガーデンと、能取岬。能取岬までは時間的に難しいと思っていたので、白黒の灯台と青い空、オホーツク海を見れて感動でした！車中でも、冬の流氷の話、網走の話など聞けて楽しかったです。オススメです！

It was my first time at the Shiretoko Peninsula, and I learned a lot about deer and other things I didn't know, making it a fun trip. (^○^) This time, I visited Sapporo, Otaru, and Noboribetsu, but I really want to go back to the Shiretoko Peninsula again. It was truly enjoyable. Thank you very much. It was my first time chartering a taxi, and the driver was very polite and provided thorough explanations. On the way from Memanbetsu Airport to Utoro, we took the same route I had traveled by bus during my previous ice floe tour, which brought back memories. Unfortunately, the weather was rainy, but unexpectedly, we were able to head towards Shiretoko Pass, so I had a very enjoyable time.

I participated in this tour on February 23, 2025. The explanations provided by the bus guide at key points were very helpful. We were fortunate with the weather we were worried about and were able to see the drift ice at just the right time. The drift ice from the Aurora was breathtaking. I was moved by the transformation of the sea surface from lotus-shaped ice to rugged drift ice as we set sail. The view of the ship moving through the expanse of drift ice was so stunning that I almost forgot the cold and spent most of the time outside watching.
We were also able to efficiently visit places like Abashiri Prison and the Okhotsk Drift Ice Museum! I was scared to drive a rental car in winter, so I was glad to use this service. It’s a recommended tour that allows you to enjoy sightseeing in Abashiri in just one day!

心配していた天候にも恵まれ流氷をタイミングよく見ることが出来ました。オーロラ号からの流氷は圧巻です。出航すると海上面が、蓮状の氷から、ゴツゴツした流氷へと姿変わっていく様子に感動しました。一面流氷の中を船で進んでいく景色が絶景すぎて寒さ忘れて外でほぼ見ていました。
その後の網走監獄、オホーツク流氷館なども効率よく周ることができます！冬はレンタカー借りて運転するのは怖かったので、利用して良かったです。1日で網走観光が足早に楽しめる！そんなおすすめツアーです。

I recommend visiting Abashiri in winter. Driving a rental car can be dangerous during the winter season, so I participated in a tour. I was satisfied because I was able to visit Cape Notoro, which is difficult to access individually. The time spent at the Abashiri Prison was a bit short. For lunch, we were close to the current Abashiri Prison, so we were able to visit the shop as well.
冬の網走観光でお勧めです。冬季はレンタカーの運転も危ないので参加しました。

The winter of 2025 saw a late arrival of the drift ice, and before participating in the tour, I was a bit anxious, thinking, "Maybe I won't be able to see the drift ice..." However, on the day of the tour, I was lucky enough to see the drift ice, making it a truly fortunate experience.
I boarded the morning cruise of the Aurora icebreaker, but I had seen reviews mentioning that "there are many foreign tourists, and it's lively," which made me a little concerned. However, since it was the morning cruise, the atmosphere was relatively calm, and I was able to enjoy the drift ice cruise. I suspect that if it had been a later cruise, there would have been more group tourists, making it quite lively.
Additionally, there were many foreign tourists on the sightseeing train, the Drift Ice Story, and among the tour participants, everyone was well-mannered, allowing us to visit the sightseeing spots on schedule, which left a good impression. It seemed that transportation methods like buses were quite crowded due to the influx of tourists, so I felt it was the right decision to book a tour that allowed for smooth sightseeing without the hassle of transportation.

2025年の冬は流氷の到着が遅く、ツアー参加前は「もしかしたら流氷が見られないかも…」と不安に思っていました。しかし、当日は運よく流氷を見ることができ、まさにラッキーな体験となりました。
流氷砕氷船おーろら号の朝イチの便に乗船しましたが、乗船前に「外国人観光客が多く賑やか」という口コミを見かけていたので少し気になっていました。ただ、朝の便だったこともあり、比較的落ち着いた雰囲気で流氷クルーズを楽しむことができました。おそらく、もう少し遅い時間の便だと団体客が増え、かなり賑やかになっていたのではないかと思います。
また、観光列車の流氷物語号やツアーの参加者にも海外からの観光客が多くいましたが、皆さんマナーが良く、スケジュール通りに観光地を巡れた点も好印象でした。インバウンドの影響でバスなどの移動手段はかなり混雑していたようなので、移動の手間なくスムーズに観光できるツアーに申し込んで正解だったと感じました。
特に圧巻だったのは能取岬からの流氷の景色です。まるで水平線までびっしりと流氷が詰まっているような壮大な光景が広がり、寒さを忘れて見入ってしまいました。博物館網走監獄やオホーツク流氷館の見学も充実しており、歴史や自然について学べる貴重な機会でした。
冬の網走の魅力をたっぷり堪能できる、大満足のツアーでした！

I participated on February 23rd. I was so happy to have beautiful weather with clear skies and no wind. I took the bus from Abashiri Station at 8:30 and first boarded the Aurora. This year, the drift ice arrived later than usual, and I was very anxious about whether I would see it when I went to Abashiri, but it arrived on February 15th, and I was able to see it safely. I was able to witness the beauty of nature. The Aurora moves through the ice, and this is an experience you can only have on the ship. There were many international visitors on board as well. It was moving, and it was worth coming to the Okhotsk region. I think it's a landscape you should see at least once in your lifetime.
Next, I went to Abashiri Prison, but there wasn't enough time. The way the exhibits were presented was good, but time was limited. I would like to see it again if I have the chance. I also rode the Drift Ice Story train from Kitahama Station to Abashiri, and I could see the drift ice from the train. I visited the Okhotsk Drift Ice Museum and Cape Notoro, and the seafood bowl for lunch was delicious. It was a perfect tour. The bus guide, Mr. Nanbu, was very nice, and at the end, he sang "The Sea of Okhotsk" by Chiharu Matsuyama a cappella. Thank you, Abashiri Bus.

本当に快晴で風もなく良いお天気に恵まれて嬉しい限りです。
8時半に網走駅くらバスに乗り、まずはおーろら号に乗船。今年は例年になく、流氷の着岸が遅く、私が網走に行くときに流氷はあるのかとても不安でしたが、2/15に着岸し、無事に見ることができました。自然の素晴らしさを見ることができました。流氷を砕氷しながら進むおーろら号。船に乗らないと体験できないです。海外の方もたくさん乗られてました。感動的でオホーツクに来た甲斐がありました。一生に一度は見てみたい風景だと思います。
次に行った網走刑務所は時間が足りなかった。展示の仕方も上手ですが、時間が足りない。きかいがあればまた見てみたい。
北浜駅→網走駅の流氷物語号にも乗れて、列車からも流氷が見えました。オホーツク流氷館、能取岬も回ってもらえてお昼の海鮮丼も美味しかったし、いうことなしのツアーでした。バスガイドの南部さんがとてもよい方で、最後にアカペラで松山千春の「オホーツクの海」を歌って下さりました。網走バス、ありがとう。

今回は流氷には影も形もお目に描かれず残念でした。やはり2月下旬から3月半ば辺りが良かったのかな。オーロラ号には乗船短縮運航となりましたので返金は無し。ガリンコ号とかなら乗るだけでもワクワクしますがオーロラ号はフェリーのようなもので湾内をまわるのて景色もそれほどでもなく時間短縮なのでちょっと不満感つのりますがそれもアリで予約してるので仕方ありません。船内販売の流氷ビール飲みながら雰囲気だけでも味わいました。ツアーにはオーロラ号だけでなくいろんなところが効率よく回れるので満足でした。ツアーガイドのお話や見どころ案内が非常に良く網走を楽しく回れました。ハズレのないおすすめツアー。

I participated in early February, but I couldn't see the drift ice. The weather was good, so the Aurora cruise operated, but it only went around the nearby sea. The visit to Abashiri Prison took 75 minutes, but there wasn't enough time, so I just had a quick look. I didn't have time to choose souvenirs. I was considering renting a car, but I was worried about driving on snowy roads and getting tired from long-distance driving. In that context, I appreciated that they picked me up at Memanbetsu Airport and took me to the hotel, providing a sense of security knowing I could take a nap and still arrive at the next destination. However, I had no sense of distance, so I only picked a few places I wanted to see, hoping to fit everything, including meals, within 7 hours. I was really looking forward to the meal, so it would have been better if they had suggested cutting a few other spots if it seemed like we wouldn't have time for food. I felt it would have been nice to have some communication about the plan leading up to the trip (like the possibility of going over time if we extended to this spot, or how long it would take as a reference).

Even though I traveled to the Abashiri area, I had some difficulty getting around efficiently, so I used a sightseeing taxi.
