I was finally able to visit Shirakawa-go with my family, and it was a wonderful experience. We participated in this tour as one of the events during our trip to Kanazawa. The tour ran from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM on the weekend, and we first had a hands-on experience making white shrimp rice crackers at "Sasara-ya" in Nanto City, Toyama Prefecture. Since my son has a shrimp allergy, they kindly provided him with kelp rice crackers instead, which was very helpful. Additionally, I appreciated the thoughtful consideration given to the souvenirs distributed on the bus.

Next, we headed to Shirakawa-go, starting with lunch. It was very fulfilling and delicious. I was very satisfied to have tried Hida beef and Hoba miso. I had assumed that Shirakawa-go would be covered in snow during this season and prepared accordingly, but unfortunately, there was no snow, which was quite disappointing. However, it may have actually been better for walking around. Among several houses, we toured the Wada House, a gassho-zukuri structure in a UNESCO World Heritage site in a heavy snowfall area. It was very interesting. That night, it started to snow, and it seems the next day was a snowy landscape. Before you go, I recommend checking the weather and live cameras on the Shirakawa-go Tourism Association's website. I believe taking a bus tour to Shirakawa-go was definitely the right choice. Thank you to our tour guide for a fun trip. Since there was no snow, I felt a bit disappointed and rated it four stars.

念願だった白川郷へ家族で行くことができ、とても良い体験ができました。金沢旅行の中のイベントの一つとして、このツアーに参加しました。9:30 〜15：30の土日のツアーで、まずは富山県南砺市の「ささら屋」でしろえび煎餅の手焼き体験をしました。息子はエビアレルギーのため、代わりに昆布のかきもちを出してくださり助かりました。また、バスの中で、配られたお土産も、きちんと配慮して下さり、お心遣いが嬉しかったです。
次は白川郷へ。まずは昼食。とても充実していて美味しかったです。飛騨牛、ほうば味噌も食べられ大満足でした。この時期の白川郷は雪景色と思い込み、身支度も重装備で臨みましたが、なんと雪がなく、とても残念でした。しかし、散策にはかえって良かったのかもしれません。何軒かある中で、和田家の中を見学しました。世界遺産の豪雪地帯の合掌造り。とても興味深かったです。この日の夜から雪になり、翌日は雪景色だったようです。行かれる前には白川郷観光協会のサイトで天気やライブカメラが見られますので、確認されて行くと良いと思います。白川郷へは、やはりバスツアーが大正解だったと思いました。添乗員さん、楽しい旅をありがとうございました。雪がなかったので、ちょっと残念で星4つとさせていただきました。

I was quite disappointed, but when I went to Gokayama, I was greeted with beautiful snowy landscapes! It was truly moving. Thank you very much to our guide, Takeda-san. The stories about the Hokuriku region and the fun anecdotes were all very memorable. Thanks to the skillful coordination of the driver and Takeda-san, we were able to visit smoothly before many tourists arrived. The only downside was the lunch, which was a bit lacking! You mentioned it was your first time visiting, but aside from that, it was an excellent tour. Thank you very much. I had a great time.

My first visit to Shirakawa-go was the day after the first snowfall, and there was a light dusting of snow remaining. The beautiful mountains and the stroll around Shirakawa-go became wonderful memories. I was also glad to finally try the gohei mochi that I had wanted to taste.

The souvenirs recommended by the tour guide and the sushi restaurant were all hits, making for a very satisfying trip. Although we traveled by microbus, I think it allowed us to access routes that wouldn't have been possible otherwise.

We participated as a couple on December 23rd. There were about six groups participating on a weekday. We were visiting Kanazawa for our honeymoon, and this tour was absolutely fantastic! Thank you very much. Besides us, there were participants from China and Indonesia, so surprisingly, the Japanese were in the minority. The guide was wonderful, accommodating everyone with Japanese, English, and occasionally Chinese. I recommend adding an extra night to visit Shirakawa-go when traveling to Kanazawa. Also, I think it would be great to use this tour. The weather was nice, and we had a wonderful time. Thank you!

It was a great tour since I wanted to visit both Shirakawa-go and Gokayama. The free time was just right. The staff were friendly, but the guide talked the whole time, so I wished there had been a little time to soak in the atmosphere or quietly enjoy the view from the car. Also, since I participated alone, I wanted to have lunch with the others instead of sitting at a table by myself, which made me feel a bit lonely. Everyone else seemed to be enjoying themselves sitting next to each other. Overall, I was satisfied with the tour.

I participated at the end of October. I entered Kanazawa the day before from Tokyo and planned to visit Shirakawa-go and Gokayama the next day, then return by Shinkansen that night. I was worried that it might be difficult by train and local bus when I found this tour. It was efficient to visit both places, and the guide was great. The White Road was also beautiful with autumn leaves.

10月末に参加しました。都内から前日金沢に入り翌日白川郷と五箇山を廻ってその夜新幹線で帰る予定で考えましたが、電車や路線バスでは無理かと悩んでいた時にこのツアーを見つけました。

It was a wonderful tour! I had always wanted to visit Shirakawa-go, but I didn't know much about Gokayama and thought, "I don't need to go to a similar place..." However, Gokayama was fantastic! It felt cozier than Shirakawa-go, and I thought this is the true Japanese landscape.

The bus tour from Kanazawa to Shirakawa-go was wonderful, thanks to the excellent service from our guide K and driver M from the organizing company, White Ring. The bus parking and dining location were right in the main street of Shirakawa-go, so there was no time loss for exploring. The information about various sightseeing spots and souvenirs made our exploration time even more fulfilling. I definitely want to participate in the autumn foliage and winter illumination if I get the chance.

金沢発の白川郷バスツアーですが、開催会社ホワイトリングのガイドＫさん＆ドライバーＭさんの対応がすばらしく、思い出になる旅行となりました。

I asked the guide for recommendations on sushi restaurants in Kanazawa and headed there afterward. It was very delicious. I would like to sign up again in a different season.

I stayed in Kanazawa for just two days on a rushed trip. Despite that, this tour perfectly fulfilled my wish to efficiently extend my visit to Shirakawa-go. The participants were a mix of Japanese and foreigners, and the tour guide's explanations in both Japanese and English during the bus ride were very rhythmic, precise, and engaging, keeping us interested throughout. The information provided was incredibly helpful during our free time at the destination.

Additionally, the seating arrangements on the bus and for lunch were well-prepared and organized, making everything run smoothly. Thanks to this, the participants, who were strangers at first, gradually started to chat, creating a warm atmosphere for a truly wonderful trip. Thank you very much, Kuroda-san.

Currently, I live overseas, but knowing that there are tour guides with such high language skills and excellent hospitality, I plan to recommend this tour to my acquaintances (foreigners) who will be visiting Japan.

I thought Shirakawa-go and Gokayama had the same scenery and feel, but I can't quite put it into words; the atmosphere was different. I liked Gokayama.
I thought the optional rice cracker grilling was unnecessary, but it turned out to be surprisingly fun.

I have wanted to visit Shirakawa-go for a long time, and I finally had the chance to participate. In Shirakawa-go and the Ainokura Gassho-zukuri village, my senses and appetite were fully satisfied.

In Shirakawa-go, I was very lucky to see the thatching work being done on the roofs. It was great to get a glimpse of what life was like in the past. We shared and tried the recommended Mitarashi dango, doburoku, and doburoku soft serve, and they were all delicious. The mountain delicacies for lunch were also tasty, no matter what we chose.

Some souvenir shops only accepted cash and did not accept electronic money. The Ainokura Gassho-zukuri village had a quaint atmosphere, which I personally liked. I thought it would be nice to live there.

I also enjoyed the experience of making senbei for the first time. Both sightseeing locations had just the right amount of time allocated for us, making for a very satisfying tour.

白川郷や相倉合掌造り集落では五感、お腹を満たされ満喫できました。
白川郷では、丁度茅葺き屋根の葺き替え作業中でその様子を拝見できてとてもラッキーでした。また、昔の暮らしがどのようなものか見ることが出来て良かった。
おすすめのみたらし団子、どぶろく、どぶろくソフトクリームを姉妹でわけあい食べてみましたらとても美味しかったです。山の幸の昼食もどれを食べても美味しかったです。
お土産屋さんは現金のみで電子マネーなど使えないお店もありました。
相倉合掌造り集落はこじんまりとした佇まいでしたが個人的には好きです。住んでみたいと思いました。
せんべい焼き体験も初めてで楽しめました。
どちらの見学場所も私達には丁度の時間配分で良かったです。大満足のツアーでした。
