We chose Kanazawa for a graduation trip for my daughter and son, based on my son's request to ride the Hokuriku Shinkansen! We signed up for the tour, thinking we could make it if we took the first train. The weather forecast predicted clouds, but it turned out to be sunny, and Shirakawa-go with its melting snow was incredibly beautiful. The recommended spots and souvenirs from our guide were spot on. I definitely want to visit Shirakawa-go in the snow next time.

I was truly fortunate to encounter the snowy scenery of Shirakawa-go for the first time just before the go-to travel campaign was halted. There were few people, and it felt like being in a dream. I appreciated the concise information shared on the bus about the must-see points in Shirakawa-go and Kanazawa gourmet options. When tourism resumes, I would like to visit again in a different season.

During my 3-day, 2-night trip to Kanazawa, I learned about a bus tour to Shirakawa-go and made a reservation. The tour included enjoying the view from the observation deck in Shirakawa-go, followed by free time to explore. The lunch provided was not exactly wonderful, but it was satisfactory in both quality and quantity. You can also enjoy food sampling during your free time, which adds to the experience. The tour guide was kind and it was fun. During free time, I also enjoyed the hot springs and had a great time. I scheduled my return Shinkansen for a later time to allow for some extra leeway, but I arrived earlier than expected, so I could have taken an earlier train.

On the second day of my Kanazawa trip, I was considering visiting Shirakawa-go for a full day of sightseeing, but I was worried about the transfers on the bus.
However, I found this tour, and it was sufficiently satisfying in terms of the itinerary, and the lunch was delicious. The guide's assistance was appropriate, and I was able to fully enjoy Shirakawa-go.

My first trip to Kanazawa. I never expected Shirakawa-go to be so close. I was lucky to visit this UNESCO World Heritage site that I had always wanted to see. I was able to stroll around at a leisurely pace, and the food was delicious, which made my friend who accompanied me very happy as well.

I want to participate again! The tour guide was cheerful and had a great vibe. During the ride, they provided various recommendations for restaurants and local specialties, which was very nice. However, it would have been perfect if they could have included one more sightseeing spot in the itinerary since there was enough time.

My first visit to Shirakawa-go. It seems that snow had piled up the day before, creating a wonderful view. Since my daughter was wearing sneakers, our guide kindly provided us with plastic bags, which we used to cover our socks. The local cuisine we enjoyed in Shirakawa-go was also very delicious. As a resident of Kyushu, I had always dreamed of seeing the snowy Shirakawa-go. I was very happy to see the beautiful Shirakawa-go, especially since just a week ago there was no snow at all. The male tour guide's stories were enjoyable and helpful for my trip to Kanazawa, and the service from everyone, including the driver, was excellent. It was quite different from what I had imagined. I had a more peaceful image, but it was heavily commercialized as a tourist destination. I had longed to visit Shirakawa-go, but I wasn't particularly moved. The timing might not have been great; perhaps spring, summer, or mid-winter would have been better. For lunch, the meat was a bit sparse, and it might have been less than a standard hotel breakfast set. However, I could get a refill on rice. While there were some insights from the bus tour's commentary, it didn't meet the expectations set by the reviews. Rather, I was impressed by how kind the bus driver was.

I found this tour while looking for a bus from Kanazawa to Shirakawa-go and decided to participate. There was plenty of time to explore Shirakawa-go, and the lunch was more luxurious than I had imagined. I had forgotten to apply for Go to, but the staff assisted me and made the adjustment later. We disbanded in the early afternoon, and I was able to enjoy sightseeing in Kanazawa afterward, making for a very fulfilling day. I highly recommend this for those who feel that just visiting Kanazawa is not enough.

The snowfall was incredible, and walking through the snow was challenging, but I had a great time efficiently visiting the white Shirakawa-go and Hida Takayama. Next time, I think I will visit during a warmer and more walkable season.

We participated in a day trip bus tour as a couple. The veteran tour guide's explanations were easy to understand and enjoyable. It took about 1 hour and 15 minutes from Kanazawa to Shirakawa-go. The access from Kanazawa is good. We walked to the photo spot recommended by the guide. Indeed, there were few people, and it was a great angle without any distractions. I was worried that the stay time might be too short, but it turned out to be just right. The rice cracker grilling experience on the way back honestly felt unnecessary. I think it would be better to have some activities in Shirakawa-go.

In just under two hours from Kanazawa, I encountered a tranquil landscape. I was able to leisurely enjoy my stroll. The meals weren't large in quantity, but I thought they were great with the mountain delicacies. The well-known area with three gassho-zukuri houses was a bit of a distance from the bus stop, but I dashed over to take some photos.

I had plenty of free time to explore Shirakawa-go and Gokayama at a leisurely pace. The guide shared the best spots and interesting stories, which made it enjoyable. The lunch was also very delicious, and the COVID-19 measures were well implemented, making me feel safe.

There was a campaign, so there were a lot of people. We arrived at Shirakawa-go in no time. We had plenty of free time in Shirakawa-go. On the way back, there was a rice cracker baking experience, but I didn't need that.

The forecast was for rain, but it was nice that we didn't need our umbrellas. I bought some local sake at a recommended sake shop by a young tour guide. I'm looking forward to it. I found Gokayama to be more charming than Shirakawa-go. The fact that people live there gave it a more lived-in feel, allowing us to sense history up close. Travelers need to observe manners, though. The tour guide's insights about Kanazawa during the ride back were very good. They helped me with souvenir ideas. I had a great time. Thank you!
予報は雨でしたが、傘の出番もなくまずまずだっのはなによりでした。若い添乗員さんのお薦めの酒屋さんで地酒を購入。楽しみです。白川郷より五箇山の方が風情がありよかったです。人が住んでいることがより生活感があり、身近に歴史を感じることができたのかもしれません。旅人にはマナーを守ることが必要ですが。帰りの車中の添乗員さんの金沢のうんちく、とてもよかったです。お土産の参考にさせていただきました。楽しかったです。ありがとうございました！

I visited Kanazawa for a 1-night, 2-day trip through GOTO Travel. On the second day, I participated in a Shirakawa-go tour. We were blessed with good weather, and the explanations from our guide, Mr. Kuroda, made the time in the car enjoyable, and it flew by. I would love to participate again. Thank you very much!

It was truly a wonderful tour where we were taken around by bus for a whole day! The guide was also very entertaining, making it a lot of fun! The duration of the stay was just right—not too long and not too short.
For lunch, we had a delicious meal at Hakusui-en, a place I had wanted to visit after seeing it on TV just two days prior. The hand-made rice cracker experience was easy, tasty, and enjoyable.
After the tour, I bought the souvenirs that the guide recommended at Kanazawa Station. It was a very satisfying tour, and I would definitely recommend it to acquaintances who plan to go. I also feel like I would love to join this tour again. Thank you very much!
バスで一日連れて行ってもらえて本当に有難いツアーでした！ガイドの方も面白い方で楽しかったです！
滞在時間も長すぎず短かすぎず、丁度よかった。
ランチもたまたま2日前にTVで見て行きたかった白水園での美味しいランチ。
手焼き煎餅体験も、手軽で美味しくて楽しかったです。
バス内でガイドさんがお勧めだと話してくださったお土産も解散後、金沢駅で買って帰りました。
大満足のツアーで、知り合いが行く際にはお勧めしたいです。
私もまたこのツアーで行きたいなぁと思えるツアーでした。ありがとうございました！
