The guidance was smooth, and I was able to enjoy the experience at a leisurely pace. The local specialty, Hida beef grilled on a leaf, was also delicious. Since there are few restaurants, I recommend opting for the dinner option. It's a big plus that the restaurant allows you to use their restroom. There are few toilets in the village, so the women's restroom had a long line. The guide also pointed out great photo spots, so I was able to take beautiful pictures! I recommend this tour over going individually.

案内もスムーズでゆったり鑑賞できました。名物の飛騨牛ほう葉焼きも美味しかったです。お店が少ないので夕食付きはおすすめ。レストランでトイレを貸してもらえるのもポイントが高いです。集落にトイレが少ないので女子トイレは行列でした。ガイドさんに撮影ポイントも教えてもらえるのでキレイな写真が撮れました！個人で行くよりもこちらのツアーをおすすめします。

I had to make a last-minute reservation for a long-distance bus that was fully booked, but it turned out to be great. The guide's extensive knowledge and recommendations for shops were very helpful, and it was nice to be taken to various places without having to check the travel itinerary. There were fewer Japanese people, but I highly recommend it.

事前予約が必要な長距離バスが満席だったため急遽予約しましたが、とても良かったです。ガイドさんの豊富な知識やおすすめのお店の紹介などが役立ちましたし、旅行工程を確認せずに次々連れて行ってもらえるのはありがたいです。
日本人は少なめでしたが、おすすめです。

The guide explained in both Japanese and English, so my friend who doesn't understand Japanese was able to gain a lot of knowledge. The bus to Shirakawa-go can enter areas where other buses are restricted, which is very convenient. Once you get off, you can immediately line up for the bus to the observation deck. Lunch at a gassho-zukuri farmhouse in Shirakawa-go will be a great memory.

ガイドさんは日本語と英語両方とも説明するから、一緒に行った日本語をわからない友達も色々知識を得ました。白川郷にバスは別のバスが通行止めになってるエリアに入ることがてきるので、すごく便利です。降りたら、すぐに展望台行くバスに並べることがてきる。昼食は白川郷の合掌作り民家に、いい思い出になります。

The photos on the website look like they are adorned with shimmering rainbow lights. However, in reality, there are spotlights shining on key areas, illuminating the gassho-zukuri architecture.

Either way, it's enchanting and beautiful, but if you visit expecting the kind of illumination shown in the website photos, you might be disappointed.

ホームページの写真はまるで七色にきらめくイルミネーションがほどこされているかのような画像。でも実際は要所要所でスポットライトが当たって、合掌造りを照明が照らしてるという感じ。
どちらにせよ幻想的で素敵なのですが、ホームページの写真のようなイルミネーションを期待して現地に行くと、がっかりしてしまうかもしれません。

The tour guide was friendly and had a sweet smile. I knew when signing up that it would only be in Japanese, so I was mentally prepared. It would have been even better if there were explanations in Chinese! I had some questions in the past, and the email replies were very quick, so I will definitely sign up again next time I have the chance.

Meeting at Kanazawa Station at 8 AM.

I thought it was early, but this allowed us to avoid traffic jams and crowds even on a holiday, making for a comfortable tour. The guide explained everything slowly and clearly in both Japanese and English, which was very reassuring. I was impressed by the experience and skill of the guide.

Although it was a tour after a heavy snow warning, the contrast between the high snow piles and the blue sky was stunning, truly a perfect day for photography. I was able to fully enjoy it.

The lunch might have been a bit small for younger people, but it was sufficient for middle-aged and older guests. However, it may have been a bit salty for foreign visitors overall.

Even though I knew about the Karakuri Pass and the making of "Hōshō," seeing it in person was completely different. Just confirming that there are still so many interesting and educational domestic tourism options made participating in this tour worthwhile.

It was a content-rich experience that I can recommend to many people.

金沢駅朝8時集合。
早いなと思ったが、このことで休日であっても、交通渋滞や混雑を避けられて快適なツアーになった。
ガイドさんは日本語と英語を使って、ゆっくりと分かりやすく説明され、とても安心できた。さすが経験豊かな方は違うな、と感心した。

豪雪警報後のツアーだったが、高く積もった雪と青い空のコントラストが見事で、まさに撮影日より。しっかり堪能することができた。

昼食は若い人には少なかったかもしれないが、中高年にはこの程度で十分。
ただ外国の方には全体として塩辛かったかもしれない。

からくり峠や「焔硝」づくりの話は知っていても、実際に見てみるのとは大違いだ。
まだまだこんなに面白くてためになる国内観光があることを確認できただけでもこのツアーに参加できてよかった。

良心的な内容であり、多くの方におすすめできる。

I used this service for the first time from Kyushu. Half of the customers were from overseas. I was worried about the heavy snow along the way, but thanks to the veteran driver and guide, we were able to stick to the schedule. I thought it was a good decision to use the tour since the road to Shirakawa-go was congested during the year-end. The Hida beef lunch was delicious. The guide was great at storytelling, which made it enjoyable. I appreciated the recommendations for souvenirs as well. I thought visiting two places might be challenging, but surprisingly, it went by quickly, and there were so many highlights that I wished we had more time. It was an experience that will become a lifelong memory. Thank you very much.

九州から初めて利用しました。お客さんの半数は海外の方でした。途中の大雪に心配しましたが、ベテランの運転手さんとガイドさんのおかげで、スケジュール通りの運行でした。年末は白川郷までの道が渋滞しており、ツアーを利用して良かったと思いました。飛騨牛のお昼も美味しかったです。ガイドさんのお話が上手で楽しかったです。お勧めのお土産も教えていただき助かりました。2カ所回るのは大変かなと思いましたが、意外にあっという間で、もっと時間が欲しいくらい見どころだらけでした。生涯の思い出になる体験ができました。ありがとうございました。

The weather was nice, and the guide was excellent. We traveled by two buses. However, it was quite difficult for my companion, who is Australian, to sit on the tatami mats during the meal. I think we would have enjoyed it more if we could have chosen a table seating option like the other group on the other bus.

天気も良く、ガイドさんも最高でした。2台のバスで行きました。
ただ食事の際に畳に座って食べたのが、連れがオーストラリア人だったので大変でした。
もう一台の方のグループはテーブル席で　できれば選べればもっと楽しめたと思います。

I visited Shirakawa-go for the first time. The guide explained everything very clearly and also pointed out great photo spots. The best part was the bus stop location. It was much closer than other tour companies, which was really nice. There was also plenty of time for sightseeing.

初めて白川郷に行きました。ガイドさんがとてもわかりやすく説明してくれたり、写真撮影ポイントも教えてくれました。
一番よかったのは、バスの停車位置。他のツアー会社よりも、近くてとても良かったです。見学時間も十分でした。

I was surprised to learn that there were only three Japanese participants among a large number of attendees, but both our guide, Mr. Yamazaki, and the driver were very hospitable, making the day enjoyable and pleasant.

大勢の参加者の中で日本人は3名との事で驚きましたが、ガイドの山崎さんもドライバーさんもホスピタリティにあふれる方で、一日気持ちよく楽しく過ごせました。

Last year, on November 23, 2023, I participated in the Shirakawa-go + Takayama bus tour, and it was wonderful, so this year, on November 22, 2024, I joined the Shirakawa-go + Gokayama bus tour. Unfortunately, it was rainy, but the gassho-zukuri houses in Shirakawa-go were slightly colored with autumn leaves, and the mist created a beautiful view that I enjoyed. I imagine it must be covered in heavy snow during winter. The lunch featuring mountain and river delicacies was delicious. The guide's explanations were also great, and I am thinking of visiting again next year, in 2025.

昨年、2023年11月23日に、白川郷＋高山バスツアーに参加して、素晴らしかったので、今年、2024年11月22日に、この白川郷＋五箇山バスツアーに参加しました。生憎と、雨模様でしたが、合掌作り白川郷、少し紅葉しており、霧が出ていて、良い景色を、楽しめました。冬はさぞかし豪雪に覆われるのでしょう。昼食の山、川の幸は、美味しかったです。ガイドさんのご説明も良くて、来年、2025年にも訪れたい、と思っています。

It was a very good tour that was worth the price. The tour guide provided sufficient information about the destinations and explanations during the fast-paced travel, which was helpful. There were many participants from overseas, but the English interpreter translated accurately, which I appreciated. I was happy to be able to have a friendly conversation with the person next to me, even though I attended alone. It was also great that the tour was conducted almost exactly as scheduled.

価格に見合う、大変良いツアーでした。添乗員さんも必要十分な訪問先の情報、高速で移動中のご説明を下さり為になりました。海外からの方も多く乗っておられましたが、英語の通訳さんも的確に訳されており良かったと思います。
ひとりでの参加でしたが、お隣の方と親しくお話出来たのも嬉しかったです。ツアーの前に示されていた日程とほぼ違わずに実施されたのも良かったです。

A photo taken at a recommended photo spot by our guide. It looks just like a calendar or a postcard. It's rare to find a place where you can take this photo without any obstacles. Our guide was cheerful, and we had a lot of fun. On the way back, the highway was congested, but our driver was quick-witted and took the back roads, so we arrived quickly. Thanks to that, we made it in time for our reservation at the restaurant. Thank you very much.

A bus tour from Kanazawa to Shirakawa-go with lunch included. There were many foreign visitors, and everyone was very satisfied with the content. The time for exploration and the lunch were both great. The rice was incredibly delicious. This was my first time participating, but I would like to join this tour again when I go to Kanazawa. The return time to Kanazawa was around 3:30, which was also very nice for shopping for souvenirs and enjoying some tea time.

金沢より白川郷へ昼食付きのバスツアー。
外国の方もたくさんいたけど、皆内容にとても満足。散策時間も昼食にも満足。お米もすごく美味しくて。初めての参加でしたが、金沢行く時はまたこのツアーに参加したいです。金沢に帰ってきた時間も、3時半ごろでお土産購入やお茶時間でとてもよかったです。

I absolutely recommend a sightseeing taxi for up to four people. This time, it was a trip with four women to Kanazawa for the first time. Our goal was to eat delicious food and visit Shirakawa-go. Initially, we considered a bus tour, but we switched to a taxi tour. As a result, it was a great decision. The flexibility for getting in and out was excellent (it might depend on the driver), and since it was just us, we didn't have to worry about being noisy. Our driver was a woman of the same age, which made for a very satisfying six hours. When we requested to be dropped off at Omicho Market, she responded, "Of course!" with a smile. Thank you so much, Ms. Kikuta!

4人までなら絶対に観光タクシーおすすめです。
今回女子4人旅、初めての金沢。おいしいものを食べる＆白川郷に行く、が目的。当初バスツアーを検討してましたがタクシー観光に切り替えました。結果二重丸。乗り降りの融通は聞くし（運転手さんによるのかも）自分たちだけなのでうるさくても気を気を使わない。今回運転手さんが同年代の女性ドライバーということもありとっても満足のいく6時間でした。近江市場で降ろしてほしいという要望にも「もちろんです！」と快く対応していただきました。菊田さん、本当にありがとうございました！

Since the start was early, we used a hotel near Kanazawa Station to participate. Even a couple aged 70 and 68 were able to enjoy it comfortably. We were also pleased with the consideration for other couples returning home to distant places by Shinkansen after 5 PM. We were surprised by the large number of participants from around the world (about 70%).

スタートが早いので、金沢駅近くのホテルを利用して参加。70歳と68歳の夫婦でも余裕で楽しめました。17時後半に金沢駅から新幹線で遠方へ帰宅する他のご夫婦への配慮も嬉しく感じました。世界各国からの大勢の参加に驚きました(約7割)。

I finally visited Shirakawa-go, a place I had always wanted to go. During the bus ride, we received various explanations, and since there were many foreign participants, I thought it was a great system that the interpreter spoke in English right away.

いつかは行ってみたいと思っていた白川郷へ行ってきました。
バスの中では色々な説明をしていただけ、外国の方もたくさん参加しておられたので通訳の方がそのまますぐに英語で話されていて良いシステムだと思いました。

Shirakawa-go and Gokayama had a stunning blue sky, with clear weather all day! The tour guide (who also served as an interpreter) had a gentle speaking style that was pleasant, and they kindly pointed out great photo spots, allowing us to explore efficiently.

白川郷も五箇山も突き抜けるような青空で、終日快晴！　添乗員（兼通訳）の方のソフトな語り口も心地良く、撮影スポットなども丁寧に教えてくださったので、効率よく回れました。

Departed from the group bus boarding area at the west exit of Kanazawa Station. On the day, there was a medium-sized bus with a total of 16 participants, including 12 international tourists. The veteran guide's explanations in both Japanese and English were excellent. In Shirakawa-go, we had a leisurely stroll for about three hours, including lunchtime. The lunch menu featured a course meal of Japanese cuisine, including Hida beef. In the latter part of the tour, we enjoyed a quiet walk for about an hour in the Gokayama Ainokura that was different from the morning's activities, making it a fulfilling tour.

金沢駅西口団体バス乗降口より出発。当日は中型バスでしたが海外観光客１２名含む総勢１６名が参加。ベテランガイドの日本語・英語案内は素晴らしかったです。白川郷では昼食時間を含めて約３時間ゆったり散策。当日の昼食メニューは飛騨牛を含めて和食のコース料理を満喫。後半の五箇山相倉合掌作り集落では約１時間を午前中とは異なる静かな散策が出来、充実のツアーでした。

I used the same plan as last year and repeated my experience this time. Since I used it on the last day of my trip, I opted for a taxi instead of a bus to avoid the risk of missing my return Shinkansen.

Although the destination was the same as last year, the course was set according to the current situation at the observation deck, allowing for a productive visit.

The driver provided insights from a local perspective, giving me knowledge that I wouldn't have gained on a personal trip. I would like to express my gratitude once again.

昨年同じプランを利用して今回リピート利用しました。旅の最終日に利用したため帰りの新幹線に乗り遅れるリスクを回避するためにバスではなくタクシーを利用しました。

昨年と同じ行き先でしたが、展望台について現在の状況に合わせてコース設定してくださったので無駄なく見学することができました。

So far, I have participated in various day bus tours, but this was the best bus tour I've ever experienced. If I have the chance, I would love to join this bus tour again.

During my trip to Kanazawa, I made a reservation to visit Shirakawa-go. The bus on the day was mostly filled with international travelers, but the guide, Mr. Kuroda, mentioned that there were still quite a few Japanese people. The tour was conducted in both Japanese and English, and I enjoyed listening to both. The Hida beef for lunch was delicious. We were blessed with clear weather in Shirakawa-go, and it was warm enough that I could stroll around with a hat and parasol while taking in the sights. I picked up a Shirakawa-go T-shirt as a souvenir. On the return bus, I was able to sleep well. Thank you very much to the driver and Mr. Kuroda for all your help.

金沢旅行の折角の機会に、白川郷に行ってみたいなぁと予約。当日のバスはほぼ海外の方でしたが、それでも日本人が多い方だと、ガイドの黒田さんが仰ってました。日本語と英語でご案内があり、どちらも楽しく聞かせて頂きました。お昼ご飯の飛騨牛も美味しかったです。白川郷では晴天に恵まれて、暑いくらいの中、帽子と日傘で見渡しながら散策できました。お土産に白川郷のTシャツをゲット。帰りのバスでは、よく眠れました。運転手さん、黒田さん、大変お世話になり、ありがとうございました。

Both the guide and the driver were very polite, making it a day tour that exceeded my expectations. It was great to have a guide who included funny behind-the-scenes stories.

Although it rained unfortunately, there were moments that offered unique views only possible in the rain, making it a valuable experience. I would like to see it in a different season with a different scenery next time.

I participated in the trip alone, but I became friends with the person sitting next to me on the bus, and I had a great time.

I have always wanted to visit Shirakawa-go, which I often see on TV. This time, when planning a trip to Hokuriku with my two close friends, I found and signed up for a day trip bus tour with Veltra. On the day of the tour, we were blessed with good weather and were captivated by the rich nature, the charming old houses, and the nostalgic scenery, spending a wonderful time. The lunch at the traditional farmhouse was also delicious. The bus driver and the guide were kind and great. I definitely want to go again.

いつもテレビで見ている白川郷。一度は行ってみたいと思っていた。今回、仲良し3人での北陸旅行の計画の時点で、ベルトラの日帰りバスツアーを見つけ、申し込んだ。当日は、天気に恵まれ、自然豊かな場所、古き良き家並、昔懐かしい景色に魅了され、楽しい時間を過ごした。古民家での昼食も美味しかった。バスの運転手、ガイドさんも優しく良かった。是非、もう一度行きたい。

On the day of our trip, there was an incident with part of the highway being closed, requiring a detour. However, our driver suggested an efficient route so we could make the most of our limited time. Even during the busy lunch hour, we were able to enjoy delicious soba smoothly thanks to the recommendation of a hidden gem restaurant!

On our way back to Kanazawa city, our conversations led to many recommendations from the driver, making it a thoroughly satisfying trip for the whole family. Although the tour started with bad weather, we had a fantastic time, and I truly appreciate it. I would love to use this service again!

Our driver also recommended Kawanura for sweet red bean paste and Moroe-ya for traditional Japanese sweets, which we visited the next day! We were able to buy delicious souvenirs. Thank you very much!

当日は高速道路が一部通行止めで迂回というアクシデントもありましたが、限られた時間で精一杯楽しめるよう、ドライバーさんが効率的な回り方を提案して下さりました。
混み合うお昼の時間帯も、穴場のお店を教えていただけてスムーズに美味しいお蕎麦をいただくことができました！

I felt drawn to Shirakawa-go and participated in a day trip from Kanazawa. The guide and interpreter explained the highlights and recommended souvenirs clearly, allowing us to enjoy a fulfilling free time. The meals were surprisingly delicious. About half of the participants were foreigners, and there were a few solo travelers; everyone spoke softly and elegantly, which was pleasant. Personally, I was captivated by the atmosphere of Gokayama, which is not overly commercialized. I would love to visit during the snowy season!

憧れの白川郷、金沢からの日帰りツアーに魅力を感じ参加しました。ガイドさん通訳さんがわかりやすく見どころやオススメのお土産も説明してくれたので充実した自由時間を過ごせました。食事も思いの外（失礼）美味しかったです。参加者は、半分くらい外国の方、1人参加も数名、皆さん品よく小声で会話をしていたので心地よかったです。
個人的にはあまり観光地化されていない五箇山の雰囲気に魅了されました。
雪の季節にも行ってみたい！
