Initially, I had planned to take a highway bus, but there were no available seats, so I used this service for the first time. They picked me up at the station and dropped me off right in front of the hotel, which made it very convenient as I didn't have to worry about my luggage. I hadn't done much research beforehand, but I was guided to recommended places and shops, allowing me to experience locations I wouldn't have visited on my own, which was a lot of fun. The female driver was very chatty and even took photos for me, making for an enjoyable time.
当初高速バスの予定でしたが空席がなくこちらを初めて利用しました。
駅に迎えに来てもらい、ホテルの目の前まで送ってもらえるので、荷物を預ける必要がなく、とても楽でした。また、事前にあまり調べていませんでしたが、おすすめの場所・お店をガイドしてもらい、自分たちだけだと行かない場所や経験ができて、とても楽しかったです。
女性ドライバーさんでしたが、たくさんお話をしてくださり、写真も撮ってもらえて、楽しい時間でした。
雪の季節は天候によっては道路封鎖などあり、行けない場合があるみたいです。

I participated in a tour of Shirakawa-go and Gokayama. I was a bit anxious about the bus ride, which took over an hour one way, but thanks to our guide's interesting stories, the well-organized itinerary, souvenir information, and the driver's safe driving, I was able to enjoy an efficient and worry-free visit. I had wanted to visit Shirakawa-go for a long time, so when I saw the limited-time light-up tour, I thought I had to go and participated. In the end, it was definitely the right decision! Shirakawa-go had amazing scenery even during the day, so I was already satisfied with that. I thought the light-up area was a bit smaller than I expected, but the atmosphere changed from the daytime to a magical scene at night. Since I had some time, I warmed up in the hot springs in Shirakawa-go, and as someone who loves hot springs, the slightly slippery water quality was just fantastic. The guide on the bus back shared interesting stories, so the time didn't feel long at all. I ended up sleeping on the way back, though, haha. It was also convenient to go from Kanazawa. Thank you very much!
以前から白川郷には行きたいと思っていたので、日程限定のライトアップツアーを見た時は行くしかない！と思って参加しました。
結果、行って正解でした！
白川郷は普通に昼間でも最高の景色だったのでそれだけでも満足でした。
ライトアップは思っていたより範囲が少ないかな？と思いましたが、昼間の雰囲気とは変わって夜は幻想的な景色になりました。
時間があったので白川郷の温泉で温まったのですが、温泉好きの私としてはぬるっとした湯質がこれまた最高でした。
往復のバス内でもガイドの方が興味深く話をしてくださったので、時間も長く感じなかったです。帰りは寝てましたが、笑
金沢から出ているのも行きやすくてよかったです。

I participated in a bus tour during my trip to Kanazawa. It’s an easy trip, taking about 1 hour and 15 minutes from Kanazawa. The tour guide's explanations were also very thorough. I was able to fully enjoy the snowy Shirakawa-go, which I had always wanted to visit. The scenery from the bus window between Kanazawa Station and Shirakawa-go was also delightful. The bus guide's explanations were thorough, and I felt it was a good decision to join the bus tour.
Since it was a time when there wasn't too much snow, it wasn't too cold, and I was able to enjoy myself. There was also plenty of time to leisurely explore the interiors of the open houses.
There are more foreign tourists than Japanese visitors, which gives a sense of being in another country, but the unique houses and scenery of Shirakawa-go are definitely worth seeing. I highly recommend visiting. I've also heard that the lush scenery after rice planting is beautiful.
いつか訪れたいと思っていた雪の白川郷を満喫出来ました。金沢駅から白川郷までの車窓からの風景も堪能出来ました。バスガイドさんの説明も丁寧で、バスツアーにして良かったと思いました。
雪があまり降っていない時期だったので、寒すぎることもなく楽しめました。滞在時間も充分にあるので、ゆっくりと開放されている家の内部も見て回れます。
外国人観光客の方が日本人より多いので、外国に来たような感覚になりますが…白川郷特有の家屋や景色は一見の価値があります。ぜひ訪れてみてください。田植え後の青々とした景色もおすすめだそうです。

It was a tour to see the Shirakawa-go light-up. This plan did not include tickets for the observation deck at night, but since we made it to the observation deck during the daytime, it was not a problem. It seems that as long as you arrive during the daytime, you can go.
Personally, I appreciated the bus transportation and the meal, but I also enjoyed the introduction from the guide about the scattered villages of the Tonami Plain, the lotus root fields of Kaga vegetables, and the fairy tale village along the way from Kanazawa City to Shirakawa-go.
The meal was just the right amount.
Since the Shirakawa-go light-up is limited to those who have made reservations and the dining options are also limited, I personally recommend this tour!
白川郷ライトアップに行けるツアーでした。
こちらのプランは夜間の展望台チケットはなかったですが、昼間の時間内に展望台に間に合ったので問題ありませんでした。昼の時間に間に合えば行けるようです20250202時点。
個人的には、バス送迎、ご飯の他にも、金沢市から白川郷への道すがら、ガイドさんから砺波平野の散居村や加賀野菜のれんこん畑、メルヘンの村など富山石川岐阜の紹介があったのがよかったです。
食事もちょうど良い量でした^ - ^
白川郷のライトアップは予約者限定かつご飯の場所も限られているため、こちらのツアーが個人的にはおすすめです！
I recommend wearing ski resort-like attire since it gets cold in winter. It was reassuring to have a flashlight as suggested by the tour. Since it's slippery, I think snow boots would be a good choice

I'm glad I was able to see the illuminated Shirakawa-go, which I've always wanted to visit. The scenery, especially around the three houses, was charming and I could have watched it forever. The tour guide also provided helpful advice on how to enjoy the area, making for a great experience. Next time, I’d like to see Shirakawa-go in the summer without worrying about time.
Although it’s unrelated to the tour, I was concerned about the manners of inbound tourists, and I felt a bit sorry for the local residents. I feel that if measures like separate pricing are not implemented, this beautiful scenery may disappear...

Since there were many people, we opted for a chartered taxi instead of a tour bus. The driver was very kind and introduced us to various things. Although we ended up waiting longer than expected at the lunch restaurant, we were really grateful that they extended the plan time for free.
Regarding the plan itself, the time spent exploring Shirakawa-go was about an hour, excluding lunch, and honestly, I think that was a bit short. On the day, we could only visit a small part of the area, and it was disappointing that we couldn't go to the observation deck. If you want to take your time to explore and take photos, it might be better to skip lunch and use that time for sightseeing.
In the afternoon, we went to Suganuma in Gokayama. Compared to Shirakawa-go, there were hardly any people. For those who are not fond of crowds or want to play in the snow, I would recommend this place. But overall, it was a very enjoyable day and made for great memories. Thank you very much.

午後は五箇山の菅沼に行きました。白川郷と比べて人が全然少ない。人混みが苦手な人や雪で遊びたい人にはこっちがおすすめかな。

I attended a completely reservation-only light-up event. The observation deck tickets were only available through accommodation or bus tours, and they were as difficult to obtain as tickets for the Takayama route or Southern route, while the Kanazawa route was relatively easier to get. That said, they sold out quickly.
The scenery was impeccable. It was a clear day, and I could see many stars. There were quite a few inbound tourists, but the crowd level was manageable for proper sightseeing.
完全予約制のライトアップイベントに行きました。展望台チケットは宿泊するかバスツアーしか無く、高山ルートとか、サザンのチケット並みの取りにくさ、金沢ルートは比較的取りやすかったです。と言っても分で売り切れます。
景観は文句なし。快晴で星が沢山みえました。インバウンドの方々も多かったけど、適切に観光できるレベルの混みようでした。

More than half of the tour was made up of international guests. Since there were English speakers during meals, I was able to enjoy conversing in English. The scenery in Shirakawa-go and Takayama was so charming and reminiscent of the settings in old tales and period dramas, which left me deeply moved.
海外の方が半分以上のツアーでした。英語圏の方が食事の際となりだったので、英会話を楽しめました。

This was my first time using the service. I was a bit anxious, but the reservation and payment process went smoothly. When I actually experienced it, there were few Japanese people, but everyone, including the overseas guests, gathered on time. The guide and the customer service were perfect, and I had a great time. We were blessed with good weather (there was snow, but it wasn't a blizzard or extremely cold), and we were able to fully enjoy the illumination of Shirakawa-go. The parking area was convenient since it was for the dining spots, so it wasn't crowded. Additionally, the bus was kept available for those who wanted to take a break along the way. I was also very grateful that the restaurant we dined at allowed us to use the restroom before the meeting time for our return (the outdoor restrooms had a long line). The directions to the observation deck, recommended routes, and suggested souvenirs were all explained clearly, making our sightseeing very smooth. If any friends or acquaintances say they want to visit Shirakawa-go, I will definitely recommend this tour!
お天気にも恵まれ（雪はちゃんとあるけれども吹雪いたり、超低温だったりではない）、十分に白川郷のライトアップを楽しむことができました。
駐車場の場所も、食事場所の駐車場なので混み合うこともありませんでしたし、途中で休みたくなった人のためにずっとバスは空けていてもらえました。また、食事をしたお店で、帰りの集合時間前にお手洗いに行けるよう配慮もして下さり、大変ありがたかったです（外のお手洗いは行列でした。）
展望台への行き方、おすすめの回り方、おすすめのお土産などもすべて分かりやすい説明で、大変スムーズに観光できました。友人・知人が白川郷に行きたいと言ったら、このツアーを間違いなく勧めます！

I wanted to see the snowy Shirakawa-go, but I was a bit anxious about driving a rental car due to the possibility of snow on the roads, so I decided to join this tour. It was a great tour, just as I had hoped.
