I planned to visit Shirakawa-go on a day trip during my year-end trip to Kanazawa, but the regular buses were fully booked two weeks prior. I hurriedly searched online and found this tour. I was worried since it wasn't through a major travel agency, but it turned out to be a wonderful memory. There were over 30 people in total that day. While there were many Japanese groups, there were also a few foreign couples. The male guide was kind-hearted, knowledgeable, and provided casual yet useful information without being pushy, which made it very pleasant. The planning was well done, as we arrived before the area got crowded, making everything very smooth. I highly recommend it.

年末の金沢旅行の際に日帰りで白川郷に行こうと思いましたが、２週間前の時点で定期バスは満席、あわててネットで探してこのツアーにたどり着きました。大手の旅行代理店経由でなかったため心配でしたが、結果的にとても良い思い出になりました。当日は全体で30人超。日本人のグループが多いですが外国人カップルなどもちらほらいました。ガイド役の男性は心優しく、お話も博学ながらカジュアルで役立つ情報が多く、且つ押しつけがましくなくて、とても心地よかったです。現地が混み合う前に到着するなどうまく計画されていて、とてもスムーズでした。お勧めです。

If you ever come to Kanazawa or the Hokuriku region again, there is a toll road called the "Hakusan Shirakawa-go White Road" that passes through Hakusan National Park. This road is open from June to November and offers magnificent views of the mountains and numerous waterfalls.

I visited Shirakawa-go and Gokayama for the first time. At first, I didn't have high expectations, but it turned out to be an international tour with 11 participants, including people from overseas. The guide was wonderful. They provided explanations in Japanese first, then in English, and at times it felt like a speed-running experience with English explanations followed by Japanese. It was my first time experiencing this.

On the White Road, I enjoyed stunning views of waterfalls, autumn leaves, and mountains from the car window. The photo spots along the way were especially beautiful during the autumn season.

The meals in Shirakawa-go exceeded my expectations and were incredibly delicious. We had two hours of free time in Shirakawa-go, including meals, and one hour in Gokayama, which was just the right amount of sightseeing time. We also had the opportunity to visit a gassho-zukuri house, enjoy some tea, and feel the history of old farming tools and household items. The tour ended within the scheduled time, and I felt I had enough time without needing to stay another night.

初めて、白川郷・五箇山を観光しました。はじめは、あまり期待もしていなかったのですが、11名の小グループで、海外からも参加され、国際色豊かなツアーでした。ガイドさんが素晴らしい。日本語の説明してから、英語での説明、途中からは、英語の説明の後に日本語という感じでのスピードランニングもどき状態で、初めての経験をさせて頂きました。
ホワイトロードは、滝と、紅葉、山々と車窓から素晴らしい絶景を堪能しました。また、途中の写真スポットも紅葉時期ならではでした。
白川郷での食事も、期待はずれの、すごく美味しい料理でした。
白川郷は、食事を入れて2時間、五箇山は1時間の自由時間が有りましたが、ちょうどよい、観光時間でした。合掌作り家の見学も可能で、お茶を飲み、昔の農作業機械・生活道具等の歴史を感じました。ツアー時間も予定時間内で終わることができ、もう一泊、宿泊しなくてもよく、十分余裕ででした。

Shirakawa-go is the best! やっぱ白川郷が１番

I will visit the Gassho-zukuri villages, and Shirakawa-go is definitely the largest and most photogenic place. On the way, you can enjoy waterfalls and canyons along the White Road. There are express buses from Kanazawa to Shirakawa-go, but this tour was convenient for beginners as it allows you to explore various spots.

合掌造りの集落を回しますが、やっぱ白川郷が一番規模も大きく、フォトジェニックな場所です。行きのホワイトロードでは滝、渓谷を満喫できます。白川郷へは、金沢から高速バスが出ていますが、初心者には色々回れる本ツアーは便利でした

The Hakusan Shirakawago White Road is a precious mountainous area where most of the nature remains untouched, aside from the roads. We hope you enjoyed the scenery that you can't experience on a highway bus.

Both Shirakawago and Gokayama feature gassho-zukuri architecture, but they have completely different atmospheres. Was it around the time when the rice harvesting had just finished? The photos of the rice being hung to dry are wonderful. We rarely have the opportunity to see the photos taken by our customers, so thank you for sharing them.

We hope to continue to promote the charm of the Hokuriku and Hida regions.
