Originally a railway tunnel project, it was abandoned due to repeated water flooding. Now a park, it serves as a vital water source for Takamori Town, with a constant flow of 32 tons per minute.

A renowned spring selected as one of Japan's "100 Exquisite Waters," with a constant temperature of 14°C and a flow of 60 tons per minute. Visitors can enjoy its high-quality soft water.
