One of my favorite memories of Kyoto. The music was so good it made me cry.
Reviewed by: Brittney, 2019/05/09I went to the late afternoon performance, and it was like having our own private concert, it was amazing! The musicians played with lots of energy and all of their hearts. They were very talented, and the music was so good it made me emotional.
They played traditional instruments like the shamisen. They sang traditional Okinawan music as well as music from famous Japanese films.
There was audience participation where a couple boys got to go up on stage and plays drums with the musicians.
If you like music at all, you will like this performance.
