Great for a day in Kyoto
Reviewed by: MlT, 2020/03/13My husband and I only had a day to spend in Kyoto and we looked into day tours but most only took you to two sites. The hop on hop off bus was a great solution. It took us to all the major sites and we get to see way more in 1 day then we would have otherwise. The bus station stop by Kyoto station was easy to find and the other stations were well marked. Staff was friendly and even let us know if certain buildings were closed due to coral virus. When it started to rain we received a poncho as we were getting off the bus and the next bus we got on was enclosed. After the rain stopped we go on an open roof bus and the staff even came up to wipe down any seats that might still be wet. Totally worth it if you only have a short amount of time in Kyoto

Love the Hop On/Off bus tour
Reviewed by: Kym Hill, 2020/03/12We really enjoyed the double decker bus. The city is beautiful and we never would have had the chance to see as much as we did on our own. The staff were super amazing at the bus pick up. My son and I even got back on the bus just to ride around the city after we stopped at so many amazing shrines.
The only drawback was (and this has nothing to do with the tour company) is that most of the places were closed to visitors due to Covid-19.
I would definitely recommend this company to anyone interested in getting a more general perspective of the city.

Poor

Seats very close together, Little knee room space.
Very sparse informative commentary, mostly music.
I have used hop on hop off buses around the world, including other cities in Japan, this one was disappointing.

A Great Option When Visiting Kyoto!

Money Well SPent
