I really, really had a great time. I felt so glad to be alive! Getting into the car and driving up the mountain road was fun too. I was happy to have taken so many photos. When I'm alone, I usually don't have many pictures, so I'm looking back at the photos and reliving the experience, haha. I'm not good with roller coasters, but there was no feeling of floating... I was just flying in the air! Haha. If you're unsure, you should definitely go. I'm glad I went! Thank you!

I participated with my high school son, and we were able to fully enjoy the beautiful nature with fresh greenery on a lovely day. It’s an activity that can be enjoyed by children in lower elementary school grades as well as adults. The staff were very cheerful and helped create a fun atmosphere, allowing us to have a great time. They carefully taught us how to use the oars, and we had moments to take photos, jump into the river from a height of 3 meters, and float in the water. Since getting wet is a must, it's perfect for those who want to enjoy something a bit more active. They also provide wetsuits tailored to each person's body shape. Water shoes can be rented for 300 yen. For those who wear glasses, a glasses strap is necessary; while you can rent one, it might be better to purchase one at a 100 yen shop beforehand. I thought it would be cold in May, but wearing the wetsuit made it no problem. The reception area also had changing rooms, which were heated, and equipped with hair dryers. I participated in the morning course, and there is also a trolley train station at Umabori Station, allowing us to take the trolley train in the afternoon and stroll around Arashiyama. I recommend this experience for its timing, location, and the chance to enjoy nature, especially with friends or family.

高校生息子と参加しましたが、天気の良い中、新緑できれいな自然を満喫することが出来ました。
小学生低学年の子どもから大人まで楽しむことができます。
スタッフもとても明るく、盛り上げてくれるので、楽しく時間を過ごすことが出来ました。丁寧にオールの使い方も教えてくれ、途中で写真を撮ったり、３ｍの岩の高さかから川にジャンプしたり、川の中に体を浮かべる時間もありました。水濡れ必須なので、ちょっとアクティブに楽しみたい人には、ちょうどよいです。
スウェットスーツもそれぞれの体形のサイズに合わせて貸してくれます。
ウォーターシューズは３００円でレンタル出来ます。
眼鏡の方は、眼鏡バンドが必要になりますので、レンタル出来ますが、100円ショップなどで購入していった方がよいかもしれません。
５月寒いかと思いましたが、ウェットスーツを着ると問題ありませんでした。
受付の場所には、更衣室も整備されていて、部屋は暖房もきいていましたし、ドライヤーも装備されていました。
午前中のコースに参加しましたが、馬堀駅にはトロッコ列車の駅もあり、午後からはトロッコ列車にのりそのまま嵐山に散策に行くことが出来ました。
時間、立地、自然満喫、友達や家族と一緒に参加するのがお勧めです。

As we listened to the safety instructions before starting the rafting, I began to feel a bit anxious, thinking, "I hope this is okay..." However, once the rafting began, all fear disappeared, and it turned into an incredibly fun tour filled with laughter. My parents, in their 70s and 60s, had no issues at all, and even now, when we talk about our trip to Kyoto, they say, "The rafting was so much fun!"

While I think the serene sightseeing in Kyoto is wonderful, I highly recommend the exciting rafting tour as well.

夕方からのツアーに参加しました。私たち家族３名のみの貸切状態、しかもインストラクター２名付きのＶＩＰ対応をしていただきました。
ラフティングを始める前の注意事項などを聞いているうちに、だんだん「大丈夫かな、不安だな･･･」と思ってしまいましたが、いざラフティングが始まると恐怖心など吹っ飛び、終始笑い声が絶えない、超盛り上がりなツアーとなりました。両親は７０代と６０代なのですが、高齢でも特に問題はなく、今でも京都旅行の話になると「ラフティング楽しかったねー」と話しています。
京都でのはんなりとした観光もとても良いと思いますが、ちょっと刺激的なラフティングツアー、超おすすめです。

The meeting place is right by the station, so I was able to arrive without getting lost. We gathered at 9:30 and changed into the swimsuits we brought. Life jackets and helmets are free, and special shoes can be rented for 300 yen. After changing, we all moved to a nearby river and received a brief lecture. They also taught us how to handle situations in case we were swept away! Then, it was finally time to set off. My team had six people. We went down the river in four boats! I was nervous about my first rafting experience, but I had a great time.

We participated in the morning rafting session. The meeting point is very close to Bahori Station, and there are signs, so it's easy to find. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming.

Once we arrived and everyone gathered, there was an explanation of the insurance for the day, which made me feel secure about participating in the rafting. We changed in the changing room and headed to the river as a group. At the river, they provided fun explanations on how to ride, paddle, and be rescued.

When we set off in the boat, the cool breeze and splashes of water made it feel great, even in the middle of summer.

Going down the rapids added an extra thrill, and with each descent, I became more comfortable with the people I had just met. Along the way, there were spots to swim and places to jump off rocks, and even though I can't swim, I was able to enjoy it thanks to the life jacket. It was so much fun.

The staff took lots of photos, so I was able to keep wonderful memories. The rafting lasted about an hour and a half, but it felt like only 40 minutes because it was so fulfilling. I definitely want to participate again.

This is an activity that can be enjoyed by people of all ages, so I highly recommend it. If you're trying rafting for the first time, I definitely recommend the very kind Kirakira Rafting.

更衣室で着替えて全員で川に向かいます。
川では乗り方、漕ぎ方、救助のされ方などの説明をとても楽しくしてくださいます。

いざボートで出発すると、真夏を感じさせない位の、川の涼しい風と水しぶきでとても気持ちがよかったです。

激流を下る時は、より一層のスリルがあり、下るたびに初対面の方たちともどんどん打ち解けていきました。
途中に、泳げるスポットや岩の上からの飛び込みスポットもあり、泳げない私でもライフジャケットのおかげで楽しむことができ、すごく楽しかったです。

スタッフの方がたくさん写真を撮ってくださるので、とてもいい思い出を形で残せました。
１時間半程度の所要時間でしたが、４０分程度に感じるくらいとても充実した内容のラフティングで、ぜひまた参加したいと思います。

年齢問わず楽しめるアクティビティなので、すごくおすすめです。
初めてのラフティングならとても親切なきらきらラフティングさんをぜひおすすめします。
