This yearly event has been held since 1894, and is a fantastic showcase of the elegance and talent of the Gion Higashi geisha and maiko! Only available from November 1st to 10th, be sure to book your ticket in advance to experience the seasonal dances. You can even opt to join a special tea ceremony held by the maiko, for a true 'only-in-Kyoto' experience, one of the highlights of fall in the ancient capital.
