They arrived on time to pick us up at the ryokan.
Although it's a bit more expensive than taking the bus from Yufuin to Oita Airport, the bus doesn't require a reservation, so you end up spending unnecessary time waiting at the bus stop. I've heard that sometimes the bus can be fully booked, so I thought taking a taxi would give us more flexibility and allow us to fully enjoy Yufuin.

We used the service from Yufuin Onsen to Oita Airport for a total of five people, including four adults and a newborn grandchild. The response was extremely courteous, and we were taken to Oita Airport without any issues.
We had a lot of luggage and a stroller, so we were worried about fitting everything in. When I consulted about changing to a jumbo taxi, I was informed that they could upgrade us to a larger Crown class vehicle and that it would be fine to secure the trunk with rubber straps if it couldn't close. We decided to stick with the regular car reservation.
On the day of the pickup, we were greeted at the designated ryokan, and when we loaded the luggage, everything fit well. The trunk was secured with rubber straps, and we set off. Fortunately, there was no rain, and the careful driving made us feel at ease even with a baby.
