I participated in this trip as a solo traveler. Although I felt a bit lonely since there were no other solo travelers, the continuous beautiful scenery made me forget about that. If I could be a little selfish, I would have liked to extend my stay on Iriomote Island and do a bit more sightseeing by bus. 由布島では昼食を含めて90分の自由時間がありました。島全体は1時間もかからずに一周できるので時間は充分です。帰りは竹富島経由なので時間に余裕があるなら竹富島で降りて、レンタサイクルや牛車で島を観光することをお勧めします。由布島で牛車に乗れるので、個人的にはレンタサイクルでコンドイ浜やカイジ浜を回るのが良いかと。
