I participated on January 21st. Unfortunately, due to the weather, with strong winds and a cold wave caused by a typhoon, there were concerns about whether the event would take place, but it was held somehow. It was disappointing considering the weather had been great the week before, but during the snorkeling, our guides, Mayu and Hana, constantly checked in with us, and thanks to their thoughtful care and bright personalities, we were able to enjoy it without any worries. I finally encountered a sea turtle, and the visibility was better than I expected, allowing us to see a variety of colorful fish up close.
Next, we headed to the Pumpkin Cave by kayak, but due to strong headwinds, we struggled to make progress despite paddling hard... It was tough, but it helped warm up my body. At the cave, Gen provided a fun and easy-to-understand guide, making for a mystical and thrilling adventure experience. It was truly the best tour where I could feel the unique nature and power of Miyako Island with my whole being.
I had a great time experiencing such an active adventure after a long time! I think even women with low stamina and children can enjoy it because the guides provide solid support.
1月２１日に参加しました。あいにく天候で、台風と寒波の影響のため強風かつ肌寒く、開催も危ぶまれましたが、どうにか開催されました。前の週はお天気がずっと良かっただけに、残念なコンディションでしたが、シュノーケルでは、ガイドの“まゆちゃん”と“はなちゃん”が常に声をかけてくれて、細やかな気配りと明るさのおかげで不安なく楽しめました。念願のウミガメに出会え、思っていたより透明度は高く、色とりどりの魚もたくさん間近に見ることができました。
次にパンプキン鍾乳洞まで、カヤックで向かったのですが、強い向かい風のため、漕いでも漕いでも進まず・・・大変でしたが、おかげで体が温まりました。鍾乳洞ではゲンちゃんの楽しく分かりやすい案内で、神秘的かつスリル満点の冒険体験ができ、まさに宮古島ならではの自然とパワーを全身で感じられる最高のツアーでした。
久しぶりにアクティブな体験ができて、とても楽しかった！

仕事の都合、フライトの遅延で予約時間の変更が二転三転してしまいましたが、悪態ひとつなく快く別日時をご提案くださり助かりました。
また、SAP初心者の私たちに対してイチから丁寧に教えて頂けただけでなく、参加者の慣れに応じて自由度や手助けを臨機応変にされていてマリンスポーツのプロフェッショナルさを感じました。
SAP中はドローンやスマホで凄い数の写真と動画を撮影いただけますし、当日の参加者が少なかったことが理由かもしれませんがサービスでBGM付の動画までいただけました。
スタッフの皆さまは最初から最後まで明るくフレンドリーです。私たちが見えなくなるまで手を振ってくださっていたのが印象的ですし、近くのご飯屋さんも相談に乗ってくださります。
仕事が多忙でなかなかゆっくりと時間を取れない私たちにとって最高の時間になりました。

I went to Iriomote Island for the first time and booked a tour to Yubu Island by kayak and water buffalo. In the morning, I experienced kayaking and explored the mangrove forest for about an hour. 昼食後は水牛の観光車で由布島へ。
自然災害で人が住めなくなった後、お爺さん1人で植物を植え、今の植物園の礎を作ったと水牛車のガイドさんからお話をお聞きしました。1月と思えない程のたくさんの花々が咲いており、ちょうど蝶々が蜜を吸いにやって来たところを運良く写真に収める事ができました。
行き帰りの水牛車では、水牛の説明の他、三線で歌を披露していただいたり、とても良い思い出となりました。
バスの移動時の運転から、カヌー引率、由布島までの移動等、まっちゃんにはお世話になりました。
また、バスでガイドをしてくれたショウゴさんや、準備をしてくださった方々、水牛車ガイド方々にもお世話になりました。

午前中はマングローブ林でのカヌー体験でした。かなりの強風で最初は漕ぐのが大変でしたが、マングローブ林に入ると風が遮断され、漕ぎやすかったです。あいにくの曇天でしたが、大自然を身近に感じながら非日常的な経験ができました。
お昼はガイドの方に教えていただいた沖縄料理の店で妻はゴーヤチャンプル定食、私は八重山ソーキそばを食べました。
午後は由布島水牛車ツアーに参加しました。午後からは晴れ間も見え、由布島で熱帯の動植物を見たり、水牛に触れて写真を撮る体験もでき、非常に楽しめました。
新婚旅行での参加でしたが、二人で心に残る非常に素晴らしい体験ができました。

Finally, we were taken back to Ohara Port. We participated as a family with two toddlers, but we thoroughly enjoyed the great nature of Iriomote Island.

当日は時化のため、上原航路は欠航、7:30の便で大原港へ向かい、上原港まではフェリー会社のバスを利用しました。（この時期は欠航になることが多いそう。）
午前中はマングローブ林カヌー体験でした。風が強く漕ぐのが大変でしたがジャングル探検感覚で大変貴重な経験ができました。
お昼はガイドの方に教えていただいたお店へ。カレーチャーハン？でお腹を満たしました。
午後は由布島へ。あいにくの曇り空でしたが水牛車の中では三線の演奏もあり楽しめました。由布島の中では水牛に触って楽しめる体験もでき、大満足でした。
最後は大原港へ送迎していただきました。
幼児2人連れのファミリーでの参加でしたが、西表島の大自然を満喫できました。

It was a cloudy day, but we started snorkeling right on the same property as the hotel we were staying at, and the water was incredibly clear!
