Due to the weather, it was quite windy, and we switched to stand-up paddleboarding in the mangroves and snorkeling in Nago Bay, but we had a great time taking lots of photos.

That day, for safety reasons, it seemed that other tour companies were also gathering at the same location, so both experiences had quite a few people, but I think if the weather is stable, it would be a bit more relaxed.

The day was windy and we had to fight against the wind in the widest place of the mangrove but nothing too difficult. A little bit of rain at some times. All in all you it helped you feel the nature. The guide gave us wonderful explanations on the ecosystem. The experience was great, with a friendly group and guide.
In the afternoon, weather improved and the same guide lead us to the river where we could enjoy a safe canyoning experience for beginners. It was amazing and so much fun.

In the morning, we first headed to a snorkeling spot known for a high encounter rate with sea turtles. I chose this tour because I wanted to see the sunset over the ocean. It was both of our first times on a stand-up paddleboard (SUP), but thanks to our guide, Nao, we were able to ride it well. It was fun to paddle along, and falling in because we got a bit too carried away became a great memory. This tour allowed us to experience it in a calm area of the bay, which was very nice. The conversations with Nao were enjoyable, and we bonded over the fact that we happened to be from the same hometown, which made it even more fun. I definitely want to join pipi's tour again when I come back to Miyako Island.

運営会社の人たちも優しくて、いい人たちばかりで、安心してアクティビティを楽しめました。
ただ、直射日光がすごいので、日焼け対策は必須だと思います。
ドローンから画像撮影していただいたり、何枚かiPhoneで写真を撮っていただきました。最後にはドローン画像を使った動画も作って頂き、いい思い出になりました。

It seems that Iriomote Island usually has a lot of rain, but we were lucky to have rare clear weather during our experience, which felt great. Paddling through the mangroves felt like exploring a jungle, and I believe it was an experience unique to this tour. The instructor took many wonderful photos (and we received the data for free!), and the explanations were thorough, which made me very satisfied.

I also thoroughly enjoyed my first experience riding a water buffalo during the tour of Yubu Island. After arriving at Uehara Port, there was a shuttle service available, so it was easy to enjoy without a rental car. I definitely want to try another tour next time.

In the morning, we went out to the sea for snorkeling around Barasu Island and its surrounding points (led by Shōtarō). The beauty of Ishigaki was impressive, but the stunning clarity of the ocean and the colorful corals were breathtaking! We were lucky enough to encounter a shark! I also took many photos underwater, creating the best memories.

In the afternoon, we did SUP in the mangrove river (led by Ren). It was my first time on a SUP, but they taught me carefully, and it was easy and felt great! I got to see and touch rare creatures and plants with knowledgeable explanations, which was really interesting.

The staff were cheerful, and it was an incredibly fun tour! I want to stay on Iriomote Island next time!

Due to the timing, the water was shallow, and we occasionally got stuck, but I was still able to have a lot of fun as a beginner. Whenever I struggled to keep up with the team's pace, the guide actively supported me. They also introduced information about Iriomote Island, the local wildlife, and recommended restaurants along the way, which was helpful for my future stay on the island.

In the afternoon, we briefly disbanded at Uehara Port and went on a tour to Barasu Island. Similarly, before snorkeling, the guide provided a very detailed lecture. I felt a bit anxious since it had been a while since I last snorkeled, but I was able to enjoy the tour comfortably without any water entering my goggles or fogging up.
