Two women participated in the activity. In the morning, we went kayaking as part of a group with three other pairs, but all the other participants were men. Since it was a windy day, we were struggling to keep up and honestly didn't have the leisure to enjoy the scenery. We worked hard because we didn't want to inconvenience the other participants.
I think it's a bit tough for women who aren't confident in their strength on windy days. However, if you're participating as a couple, I don't think it would be a problem.
I thought the staff's response was very good! Also, in the afternoon, we had sightseeing planned, so the schedule was just right and not too tiring!
女性2人で参加させてもらいました。午前中のカヤックは他の3組と1つのグループになって行動しましたが、私たち以外は全組男性がいて、また風が強い日ということもあり、ついていくのに必死で正直景色を楽しむ余裕はありませんでした。他の参加者に迷惑をかけたくないので頑張りました。

It was my first time kayaking in the mangroves, but the instructor was very kind and cheerful, and provided a thorough explanation about Iriomote Island. There were several participants in the kayaking itself, and it seemed that everyone was satisfied.

I was worried about whether the tour would proceed due to the approaching typhoon, but they contacted me the day before to explain the conditions under which it would be canceled and provided important information, which made me feel at ease to participate.
The guide was very attentive and made sure that even beginners like us could enjoy the experience safely. It was impressive how they continuously encouraged us to ensure our safety throughout the tour.
As we paddled along the calm waters, I felt the grandeur of the natural beauty of Iriomote Island, a UNESCO World Heritage site, up close, and I was moved by the breathtaking scenery multiple times.
When we returned from canoeing, there was a large rainbow in the sky, and its beauty filled my heart. Thanks to the power of nature and the warm guidance of our guide, it became a wonderful experience that will stay in my memory.
If I have the opportunity to visit Iriomote Island again, I would love to participate once more.

On Iriomote Island, I participated in a relaxing SUP tour through the mangrove forest and a water buffalo tour. The vast mangrove forest, unlike anything I had seen before, spread out before me, and the width of the river exceeded my imagination. The guide carefully explained the plants and wild birds, allowing us to spend a peaceful time while feeling the depth of nature. The course was beginner-friendly, and the sensation of paddling while standing was truly extraordinary. It was a deeply healing experience.
After that, I joined the water buffalo cart tour on Yubu Island. Watching the water buffalo slowly cross the shallow waters was very calming, and the pleasant sound of the sanshin was delightful. We leisurely moved through the beautiful scenery of shallow waters, fully experiencing the tropical flow of time. Both the mangrove experience and the water buffalo experience were enveloped in the warmth of nature and people, truly encapsulating the charm of Iriomote Island and Yubu Island. Recently, I participated in this tour on Ishigaki Island. To sum it up, it was far more enjoyable than I expected!
First, we experienced paddling through the mangroves by canoe. The depths of the forest were incredibly quiet, and the air was refreshingly cool, making it a perfect way to rejuvenate. Even as a beginner, the guide patiently taught us how to paddle, so I quickly got the hang of it and felt like I was alone in nature.
After that, we traveled to Yubu Island by the famous water buffalo cart. The gentle sound of the sanshin made the leisurely crossing of the sea feel truly luxurious. Before I knew it, we arrived at the island while listening to the names of the water buffalo and the funny stories from the old man. On Yubu Island, I enjoyed the laid-back island time surrounded by tropical flowers and butterflies.
The only concern I had was that the shower facilities after the tour were a bit old, and I noticed some cleanliness issues. However, considering it was an activity facility in nature, it might be within acceptable limits. Overall, it was a wonderful tour where I could enjoy both activities and relaxation. If you're unsure about what to do while sightseeing in Ishigaki Island, I definitely recommend choosing this!

その後由布島へは有名な水牛車で移動。三線の音色が優しくてのんびりと海を渡る時間が本当に贅沢でした。水牛の名前やおじさんの面白い話を聞いているうちにあっという間に島に到着。由布島では南国の花や蝶がいてのんびりした島時間を満喫しました。
唯一気になった点としては、ツアー後の施設にあったシャワーが少し古く、清潔感が気になる部分があったことです。ただそれも自然の中のアクティビティ施設だと考えれば許容範囲かもしれません。全体としてはアクティビティと癒やし両方楽しめる素晴らしいツアーです。石垣島観光で迷ったら、ぜひこれを選んでみてください！

It was my first time kayaking, and I started with some anxiety due to the unfortunate weather, but thanks to Ruri-chan's wonderful guidance, I had a very enjoyable time. There was even a moment when we heard the siren for an earthquake warning (which I later found out was just a drill), which added some excitement, but it turned into a great memory! We were greeted by the Pipi Adventure team at Uehara Port. They were a young and very friendly team. We were divided into several small groups. The guide took us by car to the starting point of the canoe trip. We were given a few quick explanations for beginners, and then we were off on our 1.5-hour canoe trip. Kengo was our guide for the half day. He's an awesome guide! He speaks English well and his explanations are clear, ideal for English speakers. Our only regret is not booking a full day!

The staff were consistently polite and kind, making me feel safe and secure throughout the experience. One of the highlights was the photo service; the staff took many pictures from various angles during the experience, and the data was shared immediately on the spot. The snorkeling and mangrove SAP tour on Balas Island was unexpectedly changed to canyoning and a mangrove canoe tour due to bad weather. I didn't know what canyoning was, but I chose it because it seemed more active than the water buffalo tour. In the end, it was a great decision! It was truly an extraordinary experience. Have you ever jumped into a waterfall, gone river rafting, or climbed rocks? We are two timid people, but with the encouragement of our guide and the other participants, we managed to complete it!
I was also amazed that we would paddle through such a vast river during the mangrove canoe tour. I was deeply moved by the grandeur of nature!

I made a reservation the day before, and they kindly accepted me, allowing me to join the tour. The travel time was interesting as I heard many things about Iriomote Island that I had never known before!
During canyoning, I couldn't bring anything except my GoPro camera, but thanks to the many photos and videos they took, I have wonderful memories!
After the tour, they also recommended a nearby lunch spot after dropping us off, so we were able to spend the waiting time for the boat without any issues!

移動時間も、西表島のことについて解説聞いて初めて聞くことばかりだったのでおもしろかったです！

It was an amazing experience with beautiful seas, very enjoyable and exciting. Our guide, Matt, was very kind and kept us laughing. The weather was cloudy, but the guide kindly took us to a place where we could enjoy the Miyako Blue, and he also took many photos for us. Not only the photos, but the drone footage was quite wonderful and became a great memory. He also provided information about a nearby observation deck, making it a meaningful day. The stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) at Kabira Bay and snorkeling in the Blue Cave were canceled due to bad weather, so I participated in mangrove SUP instead... and it turned out to be so much fun! 🌿✨
It was my first time doing SUP, but the guide explained the tips clearly, and I was able to get on the board right away. During the experience, I learned interesting facts about the mangroves while relaxing and enjoying nature.
The guide also did a demonstration of a three-point handstand, which was amazing! 👏🏻
They took a lot of photos and videos, and it truly became a wonderful memory. 📸 I want to join again on a sunny day next time.

My first time on Iriomote Island and my first time with a water buffalo 🐃
The sea was very beautiful, and I was able to see sea turtles up close, which was amazing! The garlic shrimp I had at a place called "Shonen" in front of the ferry terminal on Iriomote Island was the best!

I participated in the Mangrove Canoe & Yubu Island sightseeing tour. Canoeing in the beautiful weather was truly refreshing, and just moving through nature was healing. Our female guide, Gin-chan, was fantastic, providing detailed information about the mangroves, terrain, and plants, allowing us to enjoy the scenery while listening to her explanations. After a lunch break, we rode a water buffalo cart to Yubu Island. We spent a relaxing time listening to the performance of the sanshin and singing, and the natural gelato on Yubu Island was exquisite! I had heard that the island had nothing to offer, but it was filled with natural attractions, and it was a fulfilling tour that left me wanting more time.

I only had one hour, and since there were other groups as well, I thought it might be a miss, but I participated anyway (sorry).
In reality, each participant in our group was assigned an instructor! They taught us very patiently. They also listened carefully to our requests. Thank you very much.
Even when there were some scary moments, I felt reassured because the staff was there, and I was able to enjoy myself.
The hour flew by, but we had a great time, and for us, who don't have much stamina, it was just the right amount of time! (laughs)

This time, I participated in a half-day afternoon tour from Ishigaki Island, but the ferry to Uehara Port was canceled. The final travel method was to go from Ishigaki Island to Ohara Port, then take a bus to Uehara Port, and finally join the tour. Although I had some anxiety about the situation, the detailed prior communication made the transition smooth!
I felt reassured after receiving explanations about the arrangements.
As for the tour itself, we went on a canoe tour as a family of four. I had some concerns with my 4-year-old and 6-year-old, but they had no problems and enjoyed themselves immensely. 今回は石垣島からの日帰り半日、午後ツアー参加でしたが、目的地である上原港便が欠航でした。最終的な移動方法は、石垣島→大原港到着後、バスにて上原港へ移動、その後ツアー参加。と言った流れでしたが、事前の連絡で事細かに説明いただき、実は不安がありましたが、すんなり移動完了！
その辺りの説明も頂けて安心して参加することができました。
本題のツアーなのですが、家族4人でのカヌーツアー。4歳と6歳とで実は不安もありましたが、全く問題なく楽しむ事が出来ました。子供達も初めての経験に大興奮！笑顔とはしゃぐ声が絶えませんでした。マングローブの神秘的な世界と、そこに住む生き物達。大自然と触れ合った大人も子供も癒された時間でした。ガイドの佐藤潤さんもいつも優しく声を掛けてくれて、安心して楽しむ事が出来ました。
ツアー終了後はシャワーも浴びて、さっぱり。集合場所まで送迎して頂き終了。
最後はバスが出るまで手を振ってのお見送りまでしてもらえて大満足の半日でした。
子供もまた行きたいと大はしゃぎで帰路に着く事が出来ました。

I'm really glad I was able to experience canoeing during the only sunny moment of my stay despite the bad weather 😊 Surrounded by nature, I was able to relax and enjoy the negative ions, which was a wonderful time! In the afternoon, it rained heavily on Yufu Island, but I was able to ride a water buffalo, which turned out to be a great experience in its own right!
