I was unable to participate in snorkeling at Balas Island due to bad weather. (During winter, there are many days with strong north winds, and it seems that boats often cannot go out.)

I was able to participate in the mangrove canoe experience.

It was clear that the guide truly loves Iriomote Island. They were knowledgeable not only about canoeing but also about the nature of Iriomote Island, which was very educational.

There are some shallow areas, so I think it's easier to get out of the canoe and push it along instead of trying to paddle there. (Once the water is about knee-deep, you can paddle smoothly.)

Thanks to a slight detour on the way back, I was able to encounter some animals that are not often seen. Thank you very much.

バラス島へのシュノーケリングは悪天候のため参加できませんでした。（冬場は北風が強い日が多く、船が出せないことが多いそうです。）

マングローブカヌーの体験は参加できました。

ガイドの方が何より西表島を愛しているのが伝わりました。カヌーのことはもちろん、西表島の自然についてよく知っており、とても勉強になりました。

水が浅いところがあるので、そこは無理して漕がずに、カヌーから一旦降りて押して進むと楽だと思います。（膝の深さくらいになれば、漕いでスイスイ進みます。）

帰り道に少し寄り道をしてくれたおかげで、なかなか見れない動物と出会うことができました。

Canoeing and snorkeling were both amazing. Especially since my first snorkeling experience was on a winter rainy day with kids, I felt nervous about getting into the water, but once I put my head under, I couldn't stop laughing. It was incredibly fun and became a cherished memory. The guide was especially kind, knowledgeable, and truly passionate about the ocean, which made it the best experience.

We participated as a family. Two of us joined this monitor tour, while the other two signed up for the regular tour. We were torn between a half-day tour and a full-day tour with longer activity time, but we chose the full-day tour.

In the morning, we enjoyed canoeing at Imugya Marine Garden. After checking in at the parking lot, we headed to the beach. We were taught how to paddle the canoe and paired up to ride. In the latter part, we were able to see many colorful fish in the area with abundant coral.

In the afternoon, we moved to Shigira Beach for snorkeling. We entered the water hoping to encounter sea turtles. There were many fish, and the water was relatively shallow, allowing us to see them up close. After spotting a clownfish hiding in an anemone, we encountered a sea turtle while returning to the hill, which was a delightful surprise since we didn't think we would see one.

Both in the morning and afternoon, the guides were very kind and always checked on us while leading the tour. If we have another opportunity, we would like to request this tour again.

半日ツアーと迷いましたが、アクティビティの時間が長い1日ツアーにしました。

午前はイムギャーマリンガーデンでカヌーを楽しみました。
駐車場で受付を済ませてビーチに。
カヌーの操船方法を教えてもらい2人一組でカヌーに乗ります。
後半、サンゴの多いエリアではカラフルな魚を多く見ることができました。

午後はシギラビーチへ移動してシュノーケリング。
ウミガメに出会える事を期待して海に入ります。
魚が多く、水深も浅めなのでとても近くで見られます。
イソギンチャクに隠れるカクレクマノミを見た後、丘に戻る途中、お食事中のウミガメに遭遇。
会えないと思っていたので非常に嬉しかったです。

午前も午後もガイドさんたちは非常に親切で、こちらの様子をいつも確認しながらツアーを進めてくれました。
またの機会があれば、こちらでお願いしたいと思います。

The staff was bright and friendly, leaving a good impression! It was fun to touch the unique creatures and plants of the mangroves and Iriomote Island while kayaking! The staff even showed us how to do a handstand on a SUP! It was amazing!!!! During the visit to Yubu Island, they provided a recommended route in advance, allowing us to explore efficiently! They also shared delicious restaurant recommendations and great sightseeing spots, making it such a wonderful place that I want to visit Iriomote Island again! Thank you for the lovely photos as well!

It was a cloudy trip to Miyako Island with strong north winds in December. I participated in a tour with my middle school and high school sons! We started with stand-up paddleboarding (SUP). It was our first experience, and I was a bit anxious due to the cold, but we received thorough instructions, and my kids and I fell into the sea multiple times, laughing non-stop, which made us forget about the cold. After that, we moved to a different location for snorkeling. Unfortunately, we couldn't see any turtles, possibly because they had gone out to sea with the high tide, but we were able to see clownfish and various colorful tropical fish. They provided detailed explanations and took many photos, making it a memorable experience. I plan to challenge myself again in the summer. I felt safe with the preparations for hot water after coming out of the sea, so I will definitely ask Pipi-san for the next tour!

まずはSUPから。初めての体験で寒さもあり不安でしたが、丁寧にレクチャーしてもらって、子どもたちも私も何度も海に落ちては笑いが止まらず、寒さは吹き飛びました。その後は場所を移動してシュノーケル。満潮でカメは沖に出て行ってしまったのか？残念ながら会うことはできませんでしたが、クマノミや色とりどりの熱帯魚を見ることが出来ました。詳しい説明付きでサポートしてくれたり、写真もたくさん撮ってもらって、記念に残る体験ができました。次は夏にチャレンジしようと思います。

I was worried about the cold since it was said to be the coldest day of the year, but once I joined, the water was cold but not freezing.

I was also concerned about whether I could paddle the canoe, but once I got on, it was smooth sailing!

Throughout the journey and during the tour, we talked a lot about the island, nature, and food, so even though I was there alone, I had a great time.

Since I came to Iriomote Island knowing almost nothing about it, I learned a lot and my appreciation for the scenery changed.

I think if I come back in the summer and join the same tour, I might see a different view, so I want to come again!

There was a silhouette of a bridge in the thumbnail photo, but the actual location was a small bay, which was a bit different from what we expected. However, we ended up seeing a beautiful sunset, and it was the perfect spot for us as beginners in marine activities. I was able to handle the SUP easily even as a beginner. Since it was a clear SUP, I could feel the blue of the sea up to my feet whether I was sitting or standing! It was also great to enjoy the terrain of Imugya Marine Garden up close. The calm conditions made it easy to enjoy the activity without any worries. The staff were friendly and approachable.

For photo and drone shoots, you receive the data right after. It was great that everyone in the group could be included, and the photos captured our natural enjoyment beautifully. The drone shots provided angles that I couldn't capture myself, showcasing the vibrant blue of Miyako's sea.

On a nice day in December, we participated in SUP and snorkeling in the afternoon. It just happened to be only the two of us, but it turned out to be a very supportive and hospitable activity.

First, we did SUP. Although we had some experience, we had a bit of a gap, so we received a lecture on the basic movements and tips tailored to our situation. In the latter part, we were taught some tricks, and we both challenged ourselves and had fun.

After that, we took a short break and changed locations for snorkeling. Thanks to the wetsuits, we were able to swim very comfortably even in the December sea. We found sea turtles with the help of the staff, and we took many photos together.

The explanations about the corals and fish were concise, which was well-balanced. Also, the most important aspect, safety, was given appropriate attention, allowing us to enjoy the activities without any injuries.

Since it was just the two of us, it became a very personalized activity. Thank you, Gori-san, and all the supporting staff. We look forward to seeing you again when we visit Miyako Island!

その後少し休憩&場所を変えてシュノーケリング。ウェットスーツのせいもあってか12月の海でもとても快適に泳ぐことができました。ウミガメも他のスタッフと連携して居場所を見つけてもらい、たくさん一緒に写真を撮ってもらいました。
珊瑚やお魚の説明も簡潔に行ってもらい、バランスが良かったです。
また、一番肝心な安全についても適宜アテンションしていただき、怪我なく楽しく行えたのが1番です。
今回、2名で貸切状態ということもあり至れり尽くせりのアクティビティとなりました。

This was my fourth time in Ishigaki Island, but it was my first time participating in a tour. I was really looking forward to going to the Blue Cave, so it was disappointing that we couldn't go, but instead, we were taken snorkeling at the beautiful beach of Kabira Bay. My wife, who is not comfortable putting her face in the water, received great support, allowing us to enjoy snorkeling with peace of mind. I was very moved to see so many beautiful fish. In the afternoon, we experienced SUP, and the wide ocean felt wonderful, allowing us to spend a relaxing time. The transportation was on time, and they shared many stories about the island during the ride. They took many photos during the tour and even gifted us the data, making it a very satisfying experience. I will definitely use this service again when I come back to Ishigaki Island. I had a sunset SUP experience in late October. The wind was strong, and it was held at a different location than usual, but the weather was nice, allowing us to fully enjoy the sunset over the ocean. I felt reassured knowing that the location was chosen based on the weather conditions. Additionally, they communicated with us during the SUP session and took many photos! The next day, I had signed up for a snorkeling trip, but unfortunately, it was canceled due to rain in the forecast. Just when I was feeling disappointed, the person who had been in charge of our SUP session consulted with us about the snorkeling and ended up organizing it for the next day. We learned how to swim, received explanations about the fish, and even got to see sea turtles, making it a very memorable two days. Thank you!!!

Winter SUP was a bit concerning due to the weather not being very good, but when we actually arrived at the location, I was surprised by how blue the ocean was! My excitement soared.

We participated as a pair, and one coach was dedicated to us, providing constant guidance. They took us to spots where we could see coral reefs, beautiful views of the ocean, and even places where we could see clownfish, allowing us to have a lot of fun.

Additionally, since the SUP boards were clear, we could feel very close to the fish.

During the SUP session, they took a lot of photos for us and even did drone filming! After the drone shoot, they edited the footage and provided us with the data, which really boosted our excitement!

冬のSUP、天気があまりよくなかったため、どんな感じなのか…と多少心配なところがあったのですが、実際に現地に着くと、海がとても青くてびっくり！テンションが上がりました。

2人で参加したのですが、1人コーチがつき、つきっきりで指導してくれました。珊瑚礁が見えるスポット、海が綺麗に見えるスポット、ニモが見えるスポットなど次々と案内してくださり、とても楽しむことができました。

また、SUPがクリアなので、魚をとっても間近に感じみることができました。

SUP中は、写真をたくさん撮ってくださるとともに、ドローン撮影までしてくれました！
ドローン撮影は撮影後、編集までしてデータをくれてテンション爆上がりです！

想い出に残る最高の体験ができました♡ありがとうございました！！

I had an experience on November 27th. They provided wetsuits for rent, and all I brought was tea, a towel, and a swimsuit. The wetsuits and shoes were of good quality, and even with the water temperature at this time (24.25℃), I didn't feel cold at all! The instructor was kind and explained everything in detail, from how to use the SUP paddle to how to stand up. The weather was bad, so we couldn't go to the Blue Cave and ended up at Ohsaki Beach, but in the morning, we had a snorkeling course. To be honest, I was scared to snorkel because I couldn't swim, but with encouragement from the guide and my friends, I managed to push through (laughs). This was my first experience with marine activities in my life. Of course, it was also my first time doing stand-up paddleboarding, so I was a bit nervous at first, but even someone like me, who isn't very athletic, was able to enjoy it! The instructor kindly taught us how to use the paddle, so I think those who might say, "I'm not good at sports, can I do this?" can try it with confidence!

The clear paddleboard was more transparent than I expected (I thought it would be a bit cloudy), and I could see well into the water, so just by looking down, I could see colorful fish swimming up close. I was surprised by the sea snake swimming around! If you're going to do paddleboarding, I definitely recommend the clear paddleboard over the regular one, as you can see into the ocean!

They took a lot of photos and videos for us, and I appreciated that they suggested great poses for the pictures. On the day of the experience, the wind was strong, so I thought flying the drone might be difficult, but they said, "We can just barely fly it!" and managed to capture some aerial footage! Even though it was a cloudy day, the footage showed us paddleboarding over the beautiful blue sea, reminding me of the stunning colors of the ocean in Miyako Island. After the experience, in addition to the photos and videos taken on-site, they also sent us a highlight video with background music via AirDrop. This video was truly moving, and I ended up crying after saying goodbye to the staff... The staff members were incredibly kind and had wonderful smiles. クリアサップは思っていたよりも透明で(もう少し曇っているものかと思っていました)水の中がよく見えるので、足元に目を向けるだけで泳いでるカラフルな魚を間近に見れます。ニョロニョロ泳ぐウミヘビにはビックリでした！サップをするなら普通のサップよりも、海の中が見えるクリアサップの方が間違いなくオススメです！
写真や動画もたくさん撮っていただいて、映えるポーズも指示していただけるのでありがたかったです笑。体験をした日は風が強かったので、ドローンは厳しいかなと思っていたのですが「ギリギリ飛ばせます！」と言っていただいて上空からの動画も撮影してもらうことができました！曇が多い日だったので海の色も暗く写っているのかと思いきや、綺麗なブルーの海の上でサップをする姿がバッチリ映っていて、改めて宮古島の海の色の美しさを感じました。体験終了後にはその場で撮影した写真や動画の他にBGMを入れたハイライト動画もAirDropで送信してもらえます。この動画が本当に感動モノでじ～んときてしまい、スタッフさん達と別れた後に泣きました...笑。スタッフの皆さんは本当に親切で、笑顔が素敵な方々でした。間違いなくこの宮古島旅行で1番の思い出になりました。ありがとうございました！

11月中旬でしたが、気温は25度くらいでとても気持ち良くSUPができ、半袖短パンでのSUPも全く問題なしでした。途中から雨降ってきてしまい、全身ずぶ濡れになったので、濡れても良い格好は必須です！濡れてもいい服装以外、特に何も用意する必要もなく、初心者でも安心して楽しめるツアーでした。
ツアー中にはガイドさんがGoProでたくさん写真を撮ってくださるので、楽しい思い出の写真を残すことができました。ありがとうございました！

My first experience with stand-up paddleboarding was wonderful. On the day of the activity, the weather was perfect with hardly any wind, and our guide was very attentive and made it fun, allowing even beginners to easily enjoy the activity.

The scenery of Kabira Bay was simply stunning, and I was truly glad to have the experience of standing on the board and gliding over the crystal-clear water! Even days later, I still think back on it.

Additionally, even if you don't fall into the sea during the activity, your clothes will definitely get wet, so the service of being transported back to the hotel by car was very much appreciated. The guide also shared interesting information about Ishigaki Island during the ride, so it was never boring.

The photos taken during the activity were provided on the same day. I am truly grateful to the guide for the wonderful time I had.

また、アクティビティ中に海に落ちなくても絶対に衣服は濡れますので、宿泊しているホテルに車で送迎していただけるサービスはとてもありがたかったです。道中もガイドさんが楽しく石垣島の紹介をしてくれますので、まったく退屈しません。

I made a reservation by myself, but I experienced it with three locals. They welcomed us with a very warm atmosphere, and the two hours flew by!

In the beautiful, clear sea, I was lucky enough to see rays, turtles, and schools of fish. The beach was shallow and had little wind, so even as a beginner, I had a great time!

I participated in a one-day plan for snorkeling and SUP.

The snorkeling was in the morning, and it was my first time in Miyako Island. The underwater scenery was very beautiful, and there were plenty of fish! I was lucky enough to see a sea turtle, which was amazing. It was a shame that I couldn't take a photo with the sea turtle because there were many other tour participants.

After a lunch break, we had SUP at 2 PM. Unfortunately, the weather was bad, and it started to rain quite a bit, so the photos didn't turn out very well (maybe because of the bad weather), which was disappointing. However, the experience itself was really fun thanks to the staff member who created a great atmosphere! Thank you!

シュノーケルは午前中で、初めての宮古島でしたが海中がとても綺麗で魚もいっぱいでした！運良くウミガメも見れて感動でした。

お昼休憩を挟んで午後14時からSUPでした。
こちらは仕方ないのですが天気が悪く、雨が結構降ってきてしまい写真も余り綺麗でなく(天気が悪かったからかも)残念でした。
体験自体はスタッフのお姉さんが雰囲気を良くしてくださりすごく楽しかったです！
