After the water buffalo ride, there was no specific guidance for the return, and for a moment, I wasn't sure what to do. However, when I asked a nearby staff member, they were very helpful. The bus driver provided a fun island guide while taking us to the water buffalo cart boarding area for Yubu Island. After transferring to the water buffalo cart and listening to the sound of the sanshin, we arrived in no time.

There was a lunch and free time on Yubu Island, but as noted in other reviews, there was no explanation about when to eat lunch. Since we arrived at 11:00, I thought it was a bit early, and while I was wandering around, others had already started their meals. I think it would have been better to have a more detailed explanation upon arrival.

We then took the boat to Taketomi Island. First, we went by bus to Kaiji Beach for about 15 minutes of star sand searching, but we only got a brief view of Kondoi Beach from the car. At the tourist center, we boarded the water buffalo cart, but even though it wasn't crowded, we had to wait nearly 20 minutes here, which felt like a significant time loss. We took the eastern course, but the water buffalo today seemed quite leisurely, moving at a rather slow pace, which was amusing.

We were pressed for time on the return boat, and although I wanted to look at souvenirs at the Taketomi Island boarding area, there was no time to enter the building, and we hurriedly left the island. Throughout the day, I felt that there was no break time, so even if you wanted to use the restroom or take a moment before getting on the next vehicle, it was just move, move, move. 各社の離島ツアーを検討した中、このツアーは効率的に３島を巡りクルーズ、バス、水牛と乗り物も充実したお薦めのコースだと思います。西表島での仲間川クルーズは女性の船長さんがマングローブなど分かりやすく解説しながらゆっくり進んでくれました。由布島行きの水牛車乗り場まではバスの運転手さんが楽しく島内ガイドをしながら案内してくれます。水牛車へ移り三線の音色を聞きながらアッという間に到着。由布島でランチと自由時間があるのですが他の方の投稿にもあったようにいつランチを食べるのか説明がなく島に到着したのが11時だったので少し早いと思いブラブラしていたら他の方は既に食事を開始されていたので到着時にもう少し丁寧な説明があれば良かったかと思います。再び船に乗って竹富島に行きます。最初にバスでカイジ浜に行き15分ほど星砂探し、コンドイビーチは車の中から少し見るだけでした。観光センターに行き水牛車に乗るのですが、混んでも無いのにここで20分近く待たされかなり時間ロスを感じました。東コースを周りましたが今日の牛さんはのんびり屋さんのようでかなりスピードが遅かったのはご愛嬌でしょうか。帰りの船の時間がギリギリで竹富島の船乗り場でお土産を見たかったけど建物に入る時間も無くあわただしく島を後にしました。１日を通して感じたのは乗り物に乗る前とかトイレに行きたいなーと思っても休憩時間が無く直ぐに移動、移動、移動なのでお年寄りや小さなお子様連れの方には配慮が必要かと感じました。全然的には１日で離島を巡るには理想のコースだと思います。

The weather was bad in the morning, but I managed to enjoy sightseeing without encountering rain. I had a great time with the guide's humor-filled explanations.

The water buffalo cart ride to Yufu Island was disappointing due to low tide, as I wanted to cross through the water. On Taketomi Island, it was unfortunate that we couldn't do the glass-bottom boat tour because of the bad weather. The bus tour felt a bit lacking.

As a result, even though there was no tour guide, we were able to navigate without any issues. The tickets were in a booklet format, so we just had to hand them over at each destination, which made it stress-free.

I initially thought twice about riding the water buffalo cart, but there was a different kind of enjoyment in the water buffalo cart that walked powerfully through the water compared to the one that walked leisurely on land. I'm glad I chose this course. I felt like I was able to escape from my usual hectic life, and the water buffalo cart experience became the highlight of my trip to Ishigaki.

The guide for the mangrove cruise was knowledgeable about the plants and animals, and it was interesting to hear detailed explanations about the birds we encountered along the way. Although the schedule was tight due to the travel, there were longer breaks and free time about every three hours, so I had no trouble with diaper changes. During the water buffalo cart ride, they played the shamisen and sang, but since my child was sleeping, they sang a local lullaby instead. It was very soothing, and I felt happy, wishing I could fall asleep too. Additionally, at lunchtime, they had prepared children's utensils at our seats in advance. I was very pleased with everyone's kind assistance.

水牛車に二回も乗ってもなあと申し込みの時は思っていましたが、水の中を力強く歩く水牛車と陸をゆったり歩く水牛車ではまた違った面白さがありこのコースにして良かったなと思いました。普段のせかせかした生活から離れた時間を過ごしていることを実感でき、水牛車体験が今回の石垣旅行で1番の思い出になりました。
マングローブクルーズのガイドさんも植物や動物に詳しくその先々で出会った鳥の詳しい説明をして下さり面白かったです。
移動移動のためタイトスケジュールではありますが、3時間に一度ほど長めの休憩や自由時間がありためオムツ替えにも困ることがありませんでした。水牛車で三味線で弾き語りをして下さいましたが子供が寝ているタイミングだったので現地の子守唄を歌って下さいました。とても癒されて私もこのまま眠りたいなあと幸せな気分になりました。また、昼ごはん時には子供の食器も予め席に用意して下さっていました。皆さんの優しいご対応とても嬉しかったです。
自力でまわる方法も考えましたが自力ではここまで充実した1日にはならなかったと思います。無駄なく定番スポットを巡ることができたので初めて離島巡りをする方にとってもおすすめです。
コロナ対策については、行く先々で消毒アルコールが置いてあり皆さんこまめにしています。バスや離島間の船は少々密になりますが、換気はされており比較的安心して過ごせたかなと思います。

I participated in early November. I was worried about the ship's rocking due to the weather and waves, but it turned out to be fine with just a brief light rain and some wave motion.

While riding the water buffalo cart, I enjoyed a relaxed time feeling the wind and listening to the sound of the sanshin, and I felt like I had truly arrived on a remote island. I'm glad I joined this tour. Above all, the water buffalo's eyes reflected a gentle personality, and sometimes when it turned its head, its expression was adorable.

As for what to bring, sun protection, a hat, and a towel are essential, along with water. There were people who lost their hats while on the water buffalo cart, so having something with a strap or a hat clip from a 100 yen store would be helpful. Since it might rain, it's good to have rain gear on hand.

You can take photos with the water buffalo and have them printed in card size, but once you have them in hand, you might end up purchasing larger sizes. 何と無事でした。
水牛車に乗っている時、ゆったりした時間を風を感じられて三線の音楽を
聞いていると離島に来たな～と　このツアーに参加してよかったです。
何より、水牛の目が性格の優しさをあらわしていて、牛車に乗っていると
時に振り向いた目、表情がかわいかったです。

持ち物としては、日焼け対策、帽子・タオルなど、そして水
ボート、マングローブ林の観光、水牛車で帽子を飛ばしてしまう人が
いましたので、ひもが付いたものか１００均で帽子クリップがあると。
雨が降ることもあり、雨具は手元に。

水牛と写真を撮り、カードサイズの写真をプリントしてもらえますが、
手にすると、ついつい大きなサイズの写真を購入することになります。
自販機で冷たい飲み物を買うのと、現金を少し手元に持っていた方が良い。
コース全体でのお勧め度は、高いです。あとは、天候が大事です。

The weather was unfortunately rainy from the start, and I thought I would need rain gear all day. If the weather had been better, I could have enjoyed it even more.

My first island-hopping experience was very enjoyable!

The mangrove tour, the bus sightseeing on Iriomote Island, and the guides for each water buffalo made sure their explanations didn’t overlap, allowing me to gain new information each time. I had a very meaningful time.

On Taketomi Island, I chose the water buffalo plan (including photo shooting) from 15:00 to 15:45, and I could also add a rental bicycle until the bus transfer for the last boat at 16:30. For those who want to see a lot in a short time, I recommend two options, while for those who want to take it slow, one option might be better. Personally, I felt that an extra hour on Taketomi Island would have been nice.

That said, we were blessed with good weather, and I was able to visit all the main tourist spots. The high-level service spirit of the staff at various locations made it a lot of fun. The COVID-19 measures were stricter compared to my home area (the main island), which made me feel safe. I would like to participate in a different tour next time! ^ ^

The tracking allowed us to enjoy the jungle just enough, and I’ve seen many waterfalls before, but it was my first time experiencing such power while entering the basin of the waterfall. I had a guide from Monsoon. They were very accommodating and made me feel relaxed, even though I can't swim at all. I got to see a sea turtle with a deformed shell and various corals, which was really wonderful.

Above all, the rice balls for lunch were exquisite! They had the perfect seasoning and were shaped well, so I was able to eat more than I usually would.

On the day of the trip, there were some waves, and we stayed at Barasu Island for just a few minutes. It might be difficult for those who are not good at swimming to enjoy snorkeling.

We boarded the boat around 9:30 and quickly visited two points in the morning. We arrived at the small Hatoma Island around 11:30, ate rice balls, and then went for a walk on the island. We departed for the last point at 1:30 PM. There were waves, and the seawater was somewhat murky, so the visibility wasn't very good, which was a bit disappointing. However, we were able to see some fish, including sea snakes, so that was nice.

The driver also acted as a guide, but there was no explanation about the points, so it felt like we were snorkeling on our own. Since it was a full-day tour, it would have been better to have a proper guide.

Which island should I visit? Where is interesting? I had so many questions that I decided to sign up for a tour. The tour around the islands was very fulfilling, with introductions to sights while riding a water buffalo cart and singing with a sanshin.

If I had to mention a downside, each itinerary was packed tightly, making it feel a bit rushed, and it wasn't a leisurely sightseeing experience. (If possible, I would have preferred more free exploration time on Taketomi Island instead of Yubu Island.)

However, I was able to feel the charm of the islands and the relaxed flow of time, which was very nice. Next, I want to visit each island one by one.

After arriving at Iriomote Island from Ishigaki Island, we had a restroom break, and then we boarded the mangrove cruise. As a family, we were lined up behind solo travelers and two adults. The people in front had scattered themselves in the window seats, and when the staff asked us to sit separately, I was honestly taken aback.

Our family was forced to sit apart, and my child became sad and started to cry, making it very difficult to enjoy the mangroves.

This tour consistently operated on a first-come, first-served basis, and it was impressive to see two single women rushing to line up ahead of everyone else. It's frustrating to be shown such human behavior while on vacation. I thought the seating arrangement was a chance for the tour company to showcase their skills.

石垣島→西表島へ到着後にトイレ休憩があって、その後マングローブ遊覧船に乗るのですが、家族連れの私達は、お一人様や大人二人の方の後に並んでいました。前の方達がまばらに窓側の席を陣取っておられ、その光景を見た店員さんから、別々に座ってくださいと言われた時には正直呆れてしまいました。

家族がバラバラに離れて座らされて、子どもは悲しくて泣き出し、とてもマングローブを楽しむ気分にはなれませんでした。

こちらのツアーでは一貫して、早いもの勝ちで進行されていて、独身女性２人組の方は、我先にと並んでいたのが印象的でした。
旅行に来てまで人間臭いものを見せられるのはうんざりです。席配置に関しては、ツアー会社の腕の見せ所なのかなと思いました。
