On September 2nd, I participated in a diving and snorkeling tour. It took about an hour by boat, so I arrived in the morning and took the motion sickness medication I had brought with me at lunchtime. The boat allowed us to feel the outside breeze, and while there was some rocking, it wasn't enough to make me feel too dizzy.

First, we dove at the first point. The instructor signaled to me with eye contact for breathing timing and equalizing, but as it was my first dive, I had zero capacity to look around. I felt like I was desperately trying to dive.

At the second point, while another group was diving, I went snorkeling around the boat. After that, we got back on the boat to enjoy our lunch and then moved to the third point. Here, I was able to see a sea turtle! The water was very clear, and I could see all the way to the bottom, so snorkeling from above was more than enough to see plenty of fish.

Once everything was done, we had showers in the shower room and could change in private rooms. I think this tour was truly wonderful, as we were taken to so many different places, and the facilities on the boat, including the shower room, changing area, tea, water, and coffee, were all well-maintained.

船で１時間程度という事で、朝到着して、お昼にも持参した酔い止めを飲みました。船は外の風を感じることができ、揺れはあったけど、そこまでフラフラになるほどではありませんでした。

まず、1ポイント目でのダイビング。お姉さんが息をするタイミングや、耳抜きなど、目を見て合図してくれましたが、初ダイビングで周りを見る余裕ゼロ。
必死に必死に潜ったと言う感じでした。
2ポイント目は、もう一組の方がダイビングしている間に船の周りでシュノーケル。
それから船に上がってお弁当をいただき、3ポイント目に移動。
ここは、なんとウミガメに会うことが出来ました。
透明度が高く、海の底まで見えたのでシュノーケルで上からでも充分にお魚さんたちには会えます。
全て終わると、シャワールームでシャワー、そして個室で着替えることも出来ました。
これだけ、色々連れて行ってもらえ、そして船でのシャワールーム、着替え、お茶、お水、コーヒーと設備もキチンとされててとても素晴らしいツアーだと思います。

During my 3-night, 4-day trip to Okinawa, I participated in a diving tour on the morning of the third day.

From the time I was planning the trip, the first place I wanted to visit in Okinawa was, of course, the ocean! I wanted to explore the clear waters with beautiful coral, so I did some research. After several days of searching online, I found that the diving tour offered by Veltra was a perfect fit for us, so we decided to go to Kerama.

I was a bit anxious about the tour being half off, but I felt reassured when I was able to communicate with the shop about my health condition beforehand. It seemed like a reliable place.

I was really nervous because I’m not a good swimmer and had been to the hospital, thinking I might not be able to participate. However, with guidance from the shop and discussions with my doctor, I felt comfortable joining the tour.

On the day of the dive, we set off for the ocean under the best weather! The participants were about 40% Japanese and 60% from various countries. I was happy that they had diving suits in the perfect size for me.

The staff were accommodating in various languages, and they were incredibly kind and attentive, which helped ease my nerves as a beginner.

To ensure that beginners could dive safely, each diver was paired with two participants.

(As I mentioned that I was particularly nervous, we were fortunate to have two divers assist us.)

Into the ocean we went! After practicing breathing with the snorkel, we donned our tanks and entered the water.

Once underwater, the beauty of the fish and coral was breathtaking! At first, I was anxious about breathing underwater, but soon it felt natural, and I was amazed by the beautiful world beneath the surface. I was able to see cute fish swimming around the coral right in front of me, which was stunning. The staff took many photos of us swimming together, creating wonderful memories. Even though I couldn’t swim well, the staff helped pull me along, and I felt like I was contributing just by kicking my legs. It seemed that swimming ability didn’t matter much.

We spent about 10-15 minutes underwater, which felt truly magical. I think those who are more experienced at diving could stay down longer.

Recommended points:
★ The staff are incredibly kind. This might be the best part.
★ They provided water and tea, so we didn’t have to buy anything!
★ There were shower and changing facilities, and they lent us towels, which was very helpful.
★ After diving, we had free time to jump into the sea from the boat and play!

Advice:
I didn’t mention it much in my impressions, but I experienced severe seasickness, which was tough. I had taken medication, but it diminished my enjoyment. The waves can vary by day, so if you’re prone to seasickness, it’s best to take medication the night before to ensure you have a great time.
*My husband enjoyed it so much that he even learned free diving afterward.

今回3泊4日の沖縄旅行で3日目の朝にダイビングに参加しました。

計画を練っている時から沖縄旅行にきていきたいところといったら、まず海！！！！
せっかくなら透き通ってサンゴのきれいな海にいきたいなと調べていました。
その後も何日間かネットで探しているとベルトラさんがやっているダイビングツアーが自分たちにとてもあっていたので慶良間に行くことを決めました。

半額になるツアーだし、どうなのかな、、ちょっと不安、と思っていたのですがお店側と事前に体調面などを細かく連絡を取り合うことができ、ここはしっかりしたお店だなと感じました。

ただ自分が泳ぐことが本当に苦手で不安がありました。そして病院にもかかっていてもしかしたらできないかもしれないと思っていましたが、お店からの指導のもと病院の先生とも話をつけたことで安心して参加することができました。


当日の朝は最高の天気の中、海へ出発！
参加者は日本人4割、外国の方が6割と色んな国から参加されていました。
ダイビングスーツもぴったりサイズを準備していただけて嬉しかったです(◍′◡‵◍)

様々な語学に対応されていて、どのスタッフの皆さん凄く丁寧に対応してくださり、初心者でも緊張しているわたしにも優しく話しかけてくださったおかげで大分緊張はほぐれました。

初心者の方でも安心してダイビングができるようにダイバーの方1人につき2人で対応されていました。

(※今回わたしが相当苦手と言っていたのでありがたいことにダイバーさん2人と私たち夫婦で対応していただきました。)

いざ海の中へ！
シュノーケルで呼吸の練習をして慣れた後に、ガスボンベをしょって海中へ。

海の中に入ると魚やサンゴの美しいこと！
自分が水面下で呼吸をしていることが初めは不安で仕方なかったのですが、途中からはそれが当たり前になってこんなにも海の中はきれいな世界が広がっているんだと感動しました。可愛いお魚さんがさんごのまわりを泳ぐ姿を目の前で見れたりしてとても綺麗でした。カメラで2人で泳ぐ様子をスタッフの方がたくさん撮ってくれてとてもいい記念になりました。
泳げないわたしでもスタッフのかたが引っ張ってくださって足をバタバタするだけでも全然役に立っていた、、気がします。笑
泳げる泳げないはあまり関係なさそうでした。

潜っていた時間は10-15分ほどではありましたが本当に神秘的な時間でした。
ダイビングが得意な方はもう少し長く潜れるのではないかなとおもいます。

おすすめポイント
★とにかくスタッフの方が優しい。
これが一番かも。
★水やお茶も準備してくださってるのでわざわざ買って行かなくても大丈夫でした！
★シャワー室、更衣室も完備されていて荷物になるバスタオルも貸してくださるのでありがたかったです。
★ダイビングのあとは自由時間があって船から海に飛び込んだりして遊ぶこともできました！

アドバイス
感想の中にはあまり書いていませんでしたが
船酔いがかなりひどく大変でした。一応薬は飲んでいたのですがそのおかげで楽しさが半減してしまいました。日によって波も違うとおもいますが、弱い方は前日の夜から飲んでおくなどしたほうが、絶対楽しめます。
※旦那は終わった後も素潜りを教えてもらってやるくらい相当楽しんでいました。

たくさんの素敵な思い出をありがとうございました。参加する価値あり100パーセントです！

By noon, it was incredibly nice out.

The water was exceptionally clear, and we had a great time snorkeling. During diving, we were able to see clownfish up close and even swim with sea turtles, which was very satisfying! I was also happy that they took plenty of photos, so I didn't need an underwater camera.

My friend seemed to struggle with seasickness, so I think anyone who feels even a little uneasy should consider taking motion sickness medication. Despite feeling seasick, they were happily diving, saying, "It's more fun to dive!"

The staff helped us jump into the beautiful sea from the boat, and everyone, including the staff and passengers, had a wonderful time together.

ツアー当日の朝、迎えに来てくれたスタッフさんも思わず「いい天気だね～笑」と言ってしまうくらい那覇市内は大雨。「大丈夫、雨でも台風後でも海の透明度は変わらないから！」と心強い言葉を聞き、船にのって慶良間へ。船を進めていくと慶良間は晴れ！お昼にはものすごくいい天気になっていました。

海は透明度が抜群で、シュノーケリングでも十分楽しめました。ダイビングはクマノミを間近で見ることができ、ウミガメとも泳げたので大満足です(^^)写真も沢山とっていただけるので、水中カメラが必要ないのが嬉しかったです！

友人は船酔いして大変そうだったので、少しでも不安のある人は酔い止めがいるかなと思います。船酔いしながらも「潜った方が楽！」と言って楽しそうにダイビングしていました。

船の上からきれいな海へ飛び込ませてくれたり、スタッフさんと乗客みんなで楽しい時間を過ごさせていただきました。

There are so many diving shops that I was really, really confused (>_<). In the end, I chose this one because they offered more than two dives, included lunch, and provided transportation. It was a bit disappointing that they couldn't pick us up since our hotel was near Shuri Castle, but it might have been better that we could go on our own without waiting for the bus (^ ^).

When we arrived at the shop, there was a large group of Chinese tourists, and the staff seemed to be foreigners who didn't speak much Japanese, which made me a little anxious. We received our wetsuits and walked to the boat, quickly changed, and the friendly staff provided us with equipment training while sharing some laughs. When I asked if we could see sea turtles, they said it was up to luck, which made me feel a bit sad thinking we might not see any... After that, we had quite a long boat ride.

First, to get accustomed, we started with snorkeling (^ ^). I was really excited to see colorful fish and coral while snorkeling! Then we moved on to the main diving! Each instructor was paired with one of us, which made me feel very secure! Unexpectedly, my partner couldn't equalize his ears and couldn't dive (;_;). It was disappointing, but I enjoyed diving with the instructor and ended up doing three dives without hesitation (*^^*).

During the second dive, I encountered a very friendly green sea turtle, and when I found it, I was so moved that I almost forgot to breathe (*^^*). In the third dive, I also saw a manta ray, and in total, I was able to see four sea turtles! I also encountered many clownfish and learned about various types of fish, making it a truly enjoyable diving experience! It had been about ten years since my last experience dive, but the sea and fish here were even more beautiful than overseas, and I definitely want to come back! Next time, I even want to get my certification (^^). They took so many wonderful photos, and I really made the best memories! Thank you so much (o^^o).

たくさんダイビングショップがあるので、すごくすごく迷いました(>_<)最終、2ダイブ以上できて、お昼ご飯がついていて、送迎がある、にしぼってこちらを選ばせて頂きました。ホテルが首里城付近だったので送迎不可になり残念でしたが、結果バスを待ったりしなくて良かったから自分たちで行けて良かったかも(^ ^)お店に到着した時、中国人？の団体がすごくてスタッフも外国の方で日本語があまりなようで少し不安もありました。ウェットスーツをもらって船まで歩いていって早速着替えて、気さくなスタッフで笑いも交えながら器具等の講習をして頂きました。ウミガメを見れるか聞いたら運なので。しか言われなくて見れないのかなーと淋しい気持ちに。。。そこから結構船で長距離移動でした。まずは、慣らすためにシュノーケルから(^ ^)シュノーケルでも色とりどりな魚たちとサンゴにすごくテンションがあがりました！それからメインのダイビングへ！2人に1人インストラクターさんがついてくれるのでとっても安心です！まさかの彼が耳抜きができずダイビングができない事態に(;_;)残念でしたがインストラクターさんと2人でダイビングを満喫できて迷わず3ダイブしてしまいました(*^^*)2ダイブ目ではすごく人懐っこいアオウミガメと出会うことができて、見つけたときは息するのを忘れるくらい感動しました(*^^*)3ダイブではマイタイにも会えて結果4匹のウミガメに会うことができました！ニモにもたくさん会えて魚の種類もたくさん教えていただいてほんとに楽しいダイビングでした！１０年ぶりくらいの体験ダイビングでしたが海外よりも綺麗な海と魚で、また絶対に戻ってきたいです！次は免許も取りたいくらいです(^^)写真もステキな写真をたくさん撮っていただけてほんとに最高な思い出ができました！ありがとうございます(o^^o)

I participated in a tour that included pick-up from the hotel for experience diving and snorkeling!

After arriving at the port, the check-in, fitting for wetsuits and fins, and boarding went smoothly, and I was on the boat in no time. I was a bit anxious about managing my valuables during the diving, but it was great that I could leave my wallet with the staff during check-in.

Once we set sail, the staff provided explanations about diving until we reached the diving and snorkeling spots. Since we were divided into small groups, I didn't have to worry about not being able to hear. Most of the participants in the tour were foreigners, and there were very few Japanese participants, but the groups were organized by country, which made it reassuring for international participants.

It was my first experience diving, so I was quite nervous, but the explanations during the transfer, the checks before entering the water, and the practice before diving helped ease my tension, allowing me to enjoy the diving. During the dive, we were paired with one instructor for every two people, who took us to the beautiful, clear waters of Okinawa. I was able to see a clownfish up close and took many photos with the beautiful coral underwater, creating wonderful memories!

Additionally, during snorkeling, I was able to see a sea turtle from the surface, and the staff worked together to fulfill my wish to see it up close while diving. They swam a lot to help us find the sea turtle, and once we spotted it, they let us swim with it for more than enough time and took photos with us.

Meeting the sea turtle was, of course, a precious memory, but I was also very touched by the kindness of the staff! The staff members were very friendly with each other, creating a fun atmosphere that naturally lifted our spirits, allowing us to enjoy a warm and friendly environment with our new companions, even though we had just met.

I thoroughly enjoyed not only the diving experience but also the time spent on the boat and during lunch. I am truly grateful!

ホテルまで送迎付の体験ダイビング&シュノーケリングのツアーに参加しました！

港に到着後、受付→ウェットスーツ、フィンの採寸→乗船までがスムーズに行われていてあっという間の乗船でした。
ダイビング中の貴重品の管理が少し不安でしたが、受付をする際、貴重品として財布を預かって貰えたのがとても良かったです。
出航してからダイビング&シュノーケリングスポットに到着するまでは担当の方がダイビング中の説明をしてくれました。少人数のグループ毎に分かれていたので声が届かない等の心配もないと思います。
又、ツアーのほとんどの参加者が外国の方で日本の参加者の方が割合としてとても少なかったのですが、グループも国毎になっていて外国からの参加も安心だと思いました。
体験ダイビングは初めてだったのでとても不安でしたが、移動中の説明、海に入る前に確認、入ってから潜る前に練習して潜ったので緊張も少しずつ和らぎ、ダイビングを楽しむ事が出来ました。
ダイビング中はインストラクターの方１人に対して２人ずつ手を繋ぎ、沖縄の透き通った綺麗な海に連れていってくれました。ダイビングの途中、カクレクマノミが居るスポットを間近で見れたり、綺麗な海の中で珊瑚と一緒に沢山の写真を撮影してくれたりと、とても良い思い出になりました！
又、シュノーケリングの時に海亀を海面から見れたのですが、ダイビングの時に近くで見たい！という願いをスタッフのみなさんが一丸となって叶えてくれました。沢山泳いで海亀を探してくれたり、発見してからは十分過ぎる程、一緒に泳がせてくれたり、写真を撮ったりしてくれました。
海亀に会えた事ももちろん大切な思い出ですが、スタッフみなさんの気持ちがとても嬉しかったです！
そしてスタッフさん同士がとても仲良しで楽しい雰囲気を作ってくれていたので私たちも自然とテンションが上がり、今日出逢ったばかりの仲間とは思えないような和気あいあいとした雰囲気で過ごすことが出来ました。
ダイビング内容ももちろんのこと、船での移動中やお昼御飯の時間まで心底楽しむことが出来ました。本当に感謝しかありません！

今まで何度か沖縄に来る機会があってもなかなか勇気を出せなかったダイビングでしたが、やってみて良かったと心から思える１日になりました。
沖縄の海はとても綺麗でシュノーケリングだけでも十分！と思っていましたが、シュノーケリングでは味わえない体験が出来、海亀と一緒に泳げた事で世界観が大きく広がりました！！
今回、ツアーに参加出来て本当に良かったです！
スタッフのみなさん本当にありがとうございました！！！

I had so much fun! I was worried that the typhoon would prevent us from going out on the boat, but the weather held up, and I was really glad we could dive and snorkel. On the day of the tour, there were quite a few people who got seasick due to the high waves. If you stay on the second deck of the boat, it’s relatively better!

We visited three points around Kerama, and we dove at the first spot, then snorkeled at the remaining two spots. At the second and third points, we were able to see sea turtles. Moreover, at the third spot, we saw three sea turtles! I even got to swim with a sea turtle while snorkeling, which was really fun!

I have also done diving and snorkeling in Ishigaki Island, but this tour offered a lot of freedom and we could swim for a long time. The instructor took many wonderful photos, and it was a very satisfying tour!

とっても楽しかったです！
台風が来ていて船が出ないかと心配しましたが、天気も持ちダイビングもシュノーケリングも出来て本当に良かったです。
当日は、波が高くて船酔いしている人は結構いました。船の二階のデッキにいるとわりとマシです！
慶良間３ポイント回遊だったので、私達は１ヶ所目にダイビングをして、残り２ヶ所はシュノーケリングをしました。
２ヶ所目、３ヶ所目の２ポイントで海ガメに会うことが出来ました。
しかも、３ヶ所目では三匹の海ガメを見ました！シュノーケリングで潜って海ガメと泳ぐこともできて、本当に楽しかったです！
石垣島でもダイビングやシュノーケリングをしたことがありましたが、こちらのツアーはわりと自由度が高く長い時間泳げました◎
インストラクターの方が沢山素敵な写真を撮ってくれたし大満足なツアーでした♪

This was my second time diving, and it was my husband's first, but it was significantly better than my first dive in Guam! The water was very clear, and you could see the coral reefs clearly even from above! First, we boarded a boat with a few others and moved to the diving point, and while waiting for our turn to dive, we snorkeled. It was quite deep, but even just snorkeling, we could see the beautiful fish at the bottom of the sea. When it was our turn, we held hands with one of the staff members and descended to the seabed together. We practiced breathing properly before going in, so I wasn't scared. We got to see clownfish and even an eel! I was very satisfied to meet various kinds of marine life! Thank you very much.

On the second day of our 4-night, 5-day trip to Okinawa, my girlfriend and I participated in an activity. The weather forecast predicted cloudy skies with occasional rain, which made us feel a bit gloomy. However, as we got closer to the shop, the sun started to peek out!

Upon arriving at the shop, we followed the friendly staff's instructions and changed into wetsuits before boarding the bus. Unfortunately, due to strong winds, we couldn't go to the Kerama Islands and had to dive around the main island instead. We were a bit disappointed since we had been looking forward to diving at Kerama, but we decided to make the most of it and got excited as we got off the bus together.

When we boarded the boat, the sun was shining brightly! Once we arrived at the location, it was finally time for diving! Both of us were nervous and excited as we plunged into the sea, and to our amazement, we saw a crystal-clear ocean filled with fish and coral!

Although we couldn't go to the Kerama Islands, the diving around the main island was incredibly beautiful and turned out to be the best experience. The staff were all very kind, and it became a wonderful memory for us. We definitely want to participate again! Next time, we hope to go to Kerama!

4泊5日の沖縄旅行、2日目に彼女と参加しました。
天気予報は曇り時々雨。気分も曇りそうになってましたが、お店に近づくにつれて太陽が、、、！！！
お店につくと対応の良いスタッフの指示に従いウェットスーツに着替え、バスに乗りました。
バスに乗ると強風の影響で慶良間諸島には行けず、本島でのダイビングとのこと、、、、。

慶良間諸島には行けませんでしたが、本島でもすごく綺麗で最高のダイビングとなりました。
スタッフさん達も優しい方ばかりでいい思い出になりました。
また絶対参加したいと思います！！

When my sister and I traveled to Okinawa, we wanted to try diving, so we both took on the challenge of our first-ever dive. At first, I felt anxious because our parents weren't there and it was our first time diving, but the instructor explained everything thoroughly, which eased my worries. I did feel a bit seasick and almost gave up early, but my sister was really happy after diving twice. During our initial snorkeling to get used to the water, I was amazed at how beautifully clear the ocean was. Even without diving deep, I could see so many beautiful fish just by submerging my head, and I even got to see turtles, which was fantastic! I was so happy when the instructor told me, "Good job!" after I spotted two turtles. When we dove down, we were so close to the fish that it was breathtakingly beautiful. I didn't know we could take photos, and I didn't bring a waterproof case, so I was disappointed I couldn't capture any underwater moments. It would have been great if that information had been included in the packing list. That was the only regret I had. Everything else was really fun, and the instructors were all very friendly. I was able to create wonderful memories of my first dive and the trip to Okinawa with my sister. Thank you very much!

始めは、親がいなかったってゆうことと初めてのダイビングだったので不安な気持ちがあったんですけど、インストラクターさんが丁寧に説明してくださって、不安が取り除けました。船酔いが少しあって、少し早めのギブも私はあったんですが、妹は2回潜ってすごく喜んでました。始めのシュノーケリングで体慣らしをしたときに、海ってこんなに綺麗にしたまで見えるんだって感動しました。深く潜らず頭を沈めただけのに綺麗に魚もたくさん見えたし、カメも見ることが出来て最高でした！カメは2匹も見れてインストラクターさんにもよかったね！ってゆってもらってすごい嬉しかったです。ダイビングで下に潜った時はさらにたくさんの魚達ともう真横すれすれを通るぐらいの近さで本当に綺麗で感動しました。写真撮ってもよかったのを知らなくて、防水ケース?みたいなのを持って行ってなかったので海中の中の写真を撮れなくて残念でした。持ち物のところとかに書いといてもらえたら有難かったです。それだけがすごく残念でした。他はインストラクターさんもみなさん話してくださったり、すごく楽しかったです。初めてのダイビング、妹と沖縄旅行の素敵な思い出を作ることが出来ました。ありがとうございました。

We first snorkeled around the boat, but since we were in Chatan, there were fewer fish, which was disappointing. We had about 20 minutes, but I ended up resting on the boat early.

When it was time for the experience diving, we entered the water and practiced with the mask and breathing. On that day, I was having trouble with my ears and nose, and even after putting my face in the water several times, I felt breathless. I felt bad for keeping the instructor waiting, so I offered to stop. However, the instructor encouraged me, saying, "You've come all this way, and it's only 20 minutes, so let's do our best!" 前日に台風の影響で慶良間諸島には行けず、本島周辺でのダイビングになるかもしれないと連絡がありました。その通りになってしまいました。北谷でのシュノーケルと体験ダイビングです。ポイントに向かう船の中で詳しく説明があり、特に不安は感じずにすみました。私達はまず船の周辺でシュノーケルをしたのですが、やはり北谷なので魚の数も少なく残念でした。20分ぐらい時間があったのですが早々に船の中で休憩してました。そして体験ダイビングの順番になり、海に入り、マスクと呼吸の練習をしました。私は当日、耳と鼻の調子が悪く、何度か顔を海につけても、息苦しく、インストラクターさんを待たせるのが申し訳ないので、もうやめますと申し出ました。でもインストラクターさんは、せっかく来られたんだし、20分なので頑張りましょう！と何度も声をかけてくださり、時間をかけて、ようやく潜ることができました。潜ってみたら、調子も治っており、本当に潜ってよかった！と思いました。インストラクターさんのお声かけが無ければ、私は潜ることができなかったと思います。本当にありがとうございました。ただ、魚の数は、やはり少なくて残念でした。でもこれはショップのせいではなく天候のせいなので(^ ^)スタッフの方々は、みなさん感じ良く、人数も多かったです。次回は慶良間諸島に行きたいです。

中国、韓国の家族連れが半分以上なのと、夏休みの為なのか、人気が有りすぎなのか、全体的にも、スタッフ込みで約５０名程度の大規模なダイビングツアーでした。終始勝手が解らず、圧倒され気味だったような感じです。参加者が多い分、当然ですが、各個人別の対応は難しいのかも知れません・・・。
ただ、船内、設備、準備物等、最低限必要なものは全て完備されており、過去の経験が積まれ完備されたツアーです。物理的にも不足なものは何も無く、初心者でも安心して体験ダイビングが可能、だけど、終わってみて何か物足りなさというか、昨年のような感動が無いというか・・・不思議なあと味のツアーでした。

After about an hour, we arrived at our destination and enjoyed a total of three activities: two experience dives and one snorkeling session. All the spots were amazing, and especially at the last point, I was able to swim with a sea turtle. It was a great experience to meet a sea turtle, which I had only seen in aquariums before. Above all, the staff at the shop were very kind, which made me feel safe participating in the tour. I definitely want to use this service again when I come back to Okinawa.

沖縄といえば、やっぱり透き通った綺麗な海に行きたく、慶良間諸島の体験ダイビングとシュノーケリングツアーに参加しました。

I experienced this with my 6th-grade son and myself, a 46-year-old.

First, we got used to the water with snorkeling. It was fun to see the fish swimming on the surface. I ended up swimming a bit too much and was told, "Please swim around the boat!" (laughs)

Then, diving! A cute female instructor from Okinawa guided my son and me as we dove. I struggled with equalizing my ears and panicked a bit, but she helped me stay calm. She took 10 photos of us and one photo of the underwater scenery.

It seems that each instructor has a camera and takes pictures. One instructor is assigned to every two guests.

I requested a pick-up plan from the hotel. The person who was our instructor also drove the bus. I sat in the front seat, so I had a chance to talk with him. He was from Mie Prefecture and mentioned that he loved diving (river play) since he was little, and that everyone at this school loves the ocean! He shared a lot of stories with me. I wanted to hear more, and I almost invited him out for dinner after his work was done that night! (laughs)

My son, who usually just plays games and shows no motivation for anything, said after diving, "I want to get a diving license someday." I was so happy to see that he was impressed by the clear sea where we could see 20 meters ahead.

沖縄出身のかわいい女性のインストラクターが私と息子を引っ張ってくれて潜りました。
私は耳抜きが苦手でうまくできなくてパニックになったりしましたが、落ち着いて対処してくれました。私たちの写真が10枚と海中の様子の写真が一枚を撮って下さいました。

各イントラの方々がカメラを持っていて撮って下さるようです。ゲスト二名につき一人の指導員がついてくれました。

私はホテルに送迎プランでお願いしました。指導員をしていた方がバスの運転をされました。
先頭の席に座ったのでお話させていただきました。三重県出身の方で、小さい時からダイビング(川遊び)が好きだったとか、このスクールの人はみんな海が好き！などといろいろお話してくださいました。
もっとお話を聞きたかったのでお仕事が終わった夜にでも～と誘いたかったくらいです。(笑)

息子はいつもゲームばかりで何事にもやる気を感じない子どもでしたが、ダイビングが終わってから「いつかダイビングの免許を取りたい」と言ったんです。20m先まで見えた透明度の高い海で息子も感動したんだなーと嬉しく思いました。

For us, who grew up in the Seto Inland Sea, the one-hour journey was tough. My husband got seasick, and my sixth-grade daughter seemed scared of the waves, but she recovered once we got into the water.

We were informed about the second experience dive, and my daughter and I enjoyed snorkeling. We were amazed by the blue color and clarity of the sea.

After about a 30-minute move, we arrived at the second diving point. My daughter couldn't overcome her fear and decided not to dive, but she was happy to see a sea turtle. I left her behind and challenged myself to dive alone. The kind guide made me feel at ease, and I truly enjoyed it.

My daughter, who I left behind, was taken snorkeling by another guide and seemed to have fun exploring a bit further away.

For the third dive, I actually wanted to do an additional dive, but since my husband hadn't recovered, my daughter and I went snorkeling instead. We were able to see various fish near the boat.

Despite some other tours showing poor manners, thanks to the staff who were considerate of even small pieces of trash, the sea, the fish, and the participants, I felt completely at ease and had a satisfying day.

ホテルまでの送迎はありがたく、店に着いて参加者の多さにびっくりしました。スタッフの方の手際がよくスーツ、ゴーグル等あっという間にさばいて出港できました。
瀬戸内海で育った私たちには1時間が辛かったです。夫は船酔いでダウン、小6の娘は揺れが怖かったようですが、海に入って回復しました。
私たちは2本目に体験ダイビングと説明があり、娘とシュノーケリングを楽しみました。海の青さというか透明度に感動です。
30分ほど移動して第2ポイントでダイビング。娘は恐怖心に勝てず断念しましたが、ウミガメに会えて喜んでました。娘を見捨て、私だけでダイビングに挑戦。親切なガイドさんで安心できたのか心から楽しめました。
見捨てた娘は他のガイドさんがシュノーケリングに連れ出してくれたのでちょっと遠くまで行って楽しんだようです。
3本目は本当は追加ダイビングしたかったのですが、夫が回復しなかったので娘とシュノーケリング。船の近くでいろんな魚を見ることができました。
マナー違反のような他のツアーがある中で、小さなゴミにも海にも魚たちにも参加者にも配慮できるスタッフの方たちのおかげで心から安心して、満足できる1日を過ごせました。

There was no impact from the typhoon, but under a cloudy sky with light rain, we were provided with a free shuttle to the hotel, and our much-anticipated experience diving and snorkeling tour began!

When we arrived at the shop, we first had to check in our valuables, but there was a long line of tour guests! I was a bit anxious since I didn’t know the size of the boat or the number of instructors, but there were two boats, and we boarded separately by group!

We had signed up for one introductory dive and two snorkeling sessions, and we started with the introductory dive! Each instructor was paired with two participants, and we held hands while walking along the sea floor! By the time the boat arrived at the dive site, the rain had stopped, and the sun came out, which was a relief! The clarity of the water at Kerama was impressive, and I was moved by the deep blue that I had seen in various scenes!

We were able to see many colorful and large fish! I was also thrilled to take a photo with a pair of clownfish, famous from "Finding Nemo"! Our time underwater was about 20 minutes, but it was incredibly enjoyable! For those who were impressed by the introductory dive, the instructor would check whether you wanted to dive again or snorkel for the second experience, which could be decided on the spot for an additional fee, and I thought that was a great point!

Since we wanted to enjoy snorkeling as well, we did the snorkeling as planned for our second session! Here, we were in groups of 7 to 8 people per guide! For those who are not confident swimmers, you can hold onto a board and wear fins and a life jacket while being guided, which is reassuring!

At the second snorkeling spot, we encountered a sea turtle! Just one was swimming gracefully, and it was such a touching moment! The guide mentioned that encountering a sea turtle at this spot is quite rare, so we felt very lucky! By the way, the name of the boat we were on was also "Lucky"! Perhaps that’s why the happy moments kept coming!

For lunch, there were two types of bento boxes available, and the warm miso soup was comforting for our chilled bodies! I won’t spoil the surprise, so you’ll have to enjoy it when you go! However, I absolutely recommend going for your birthday!

Finally, for our third session, we went to the sea turtle spot! Here, we were able to swim with three adorable sea turtles!! It was truly moving! I am so grateful to the guide who kept us entertained for as long as time allowed!

The next day, I downloaded many photos taken by the guide, and I want to cherish the close-up shots of the turtles and the pair photos as wonderful memories of this trip!!

台風の影響はなかったけれど、曇り空でパラパラと雨が降る中、ホテルまで無料送迎も行っていただき、楽しみにしていた体験ダイビング&シュノーケリングツアーが始まりました！
ショップに着くと、まずは貴重品を預かって頂くのですが、ツアーのお客さんで大行列でした！船の大きさやインストラクターの人数など分からなかったので、不安でしたが、船は2艘ありグループ毎に別れて乗船しました！
私達は体験ダイビング1回とシュノーケリング2回のコースに申込んでいたのですが、1番初めに体験ダイビングを行いました！
インストラクター1名に対し、体験者は2名で手を繋ぎながらの海底散歩！
船がポイントに到着する頃には、雨も上がり、陽射しも出てきたので、安心しました！初めての慶良間は透明度が高く、色んな場面で目にしていた濃いブルーに感動！
魚もカラフルなものから大きなものまで沢山見る事が出来ました！
ニモで有名なクマノミのツガイと一緒に写真を撮っていただけたのも嬉しかったです！
水中にいる時間は、20分くらいでしたがとても楽しめました♪
体験ダイビングで感動した方は、2回目以降、ダイビングかシュノーケルどちらを体験するかインストラクターに確認されるので、プラス代金で、その場で決められるのも良いポイントだと思いました！
私たちは、シュノーケルも楽しみたかったので、2回目は申込んだ通りシュノーケルをしました！
こちらは、ガイドさん1人につき7〜8名のグループで行動します！
泳ぎの苦手な方は、ボードに捕まり、フィンやライフジャケット着用でガイドしていただけるので安心です！
2回目のポイントではなんと海亀と遭遇出来ました！1匹だけ優雅に泳いでいたので、感動しました！ガイドさんもこのポイントで海亀に出会うのは中々無いよ〜と言っていたので、とってもLuckyでした！因みに私たちがアテンドされた船の名前もLuckyという名前でした！それだからか、嬉しい事はまだまだ続きます！！
お昼のお弁当は2種類用意されていて、温かいお味噌汁もあり、冷えた身体に沁みました〜
嬉しかった事は、ネタバレにもなってしまうので…行ってからのお楽しみ♪
ですが、お誕生日に行くのは絶対、お勧めですよ！
いよいよ、3回目は海亀スポット！
ここでは、3匹の可愛い海亀と泳ぐことが出来ました！！本当に感動です！
シュノーケルで充分楽しめたし、私たちも水中カメラで写真を撮影しましたが、ガイドさんは素潜りをして海亀の近くで撮影してました！時間の許すまで私たちを楽しませてくれたガイドさんには感謝で一杯です！
翌日、ガイドさんが撮影してくれた沢山の写真をダウンロードしましたが、やっぱり間近で撮影されてた亀やペアで撮っていただいた写真は今回の旅の素敵な記念として大切に保管したいです！！

初めての慶良間ブルーが体験出来て、最高の思い出となりました！

Last year, when I visited the Blue Cave, I saw people having a great time and thought I definitely wanted to try it. This year, my husband and I participated in our first experience diving in the Kerama Islands. We were blessed with good weather on the day, and diving into the crystal-clear sea became an invaluable experience like no other.

The instructor's support was attentive and reassuring, even for us as a couple who are not exactly young. Initially, we planned for only one dive, but we requested to do another one.

For the second dive, we entered at a different point than the first, and we encountered a sea turtle, which we were able to see up close. Both of us were extremely excited.

We were completely captivated by diving and now really want to obtain our licenses. If given the opportunity, we would love to challenge ourselves again.
