It was a wonderful location, and the kind staff created a fun atmosphere throughout the shoot, allowing the kids to stay engaged. The finished photos were lovely, and we were very satisfied. We created beautiful family memories. When we had trouble hailing a taxi after the shoot, the staff kindly offered to take us back to our accommodation, which was fantastic. Although the moon was out and we didn't have a completely starry sky this time, we were still extremely satisfied. Next time, I would love to have Subaru take our photos under a fully starry sky. If you want to capture starry sky photos in Miyako Island, I highly recommend this service!

However, when we arrived, we were lucky enough to have clear skies, and the night sky was filled with stars, which was wonderful. Additionally, during the Jungle Night Tour, we were able to see many creatures, including a large coconut crab, which I was personally very satisfied with.

The guide was also very friendly and made the experience enjoyable.

However, since there were many families participating, it was unavoidable that small children wanted to turn on their lights while looking at the stars, which unfortunately disrupted the stargazing experience. It might be a good idea to organize tours for families only or for adults only.

当日は雲が多かったこともあり、今日は星空は難しいかもしれないという話でしたが、着いてみたら運よく晴れて夜空には星空が広がっていて、素敵でした。また、ジャングルナイトツアーということで、途中、沢山の生き物を見ることができ、大きなヤシガニも見ることができて個人的には大変満足です。

また、ガイドさんが非常にフレンドリーに案内してくれて楽しかったです。

ただ、ご家族で参加されている方が多いので仕方ないのですが、小さなお子さんが星空見るときに照明ライトを点けたがってぐずってしまい、そこだけ星空観賞の邪魔になったので残念でした。家族参加のみ、もしくは大人だけのツアーを組んでもいいかもしれないですね。

I thought that coconut crabs would be wandering around at night. According to the guide, "Coconut crabs are quite rare! It's as exciting as finding a sea turtle." During the one-hour tour, we were able to spot about 5 to 6 of them. Not only did we find coconut crabs, but we also discovered various insects, and the guide provided explanations, making it possible to do a summer vacation research project. You can borrow one flashlight per group for the tour. It's more enjoyable to have one for each person, so it's good to bring your own if you have it. Also, some areas have uneven cobblestones, so sneakers are recommended. There is only space for 3 to 4 cars at the meeting point. There is a solid parking lot about 100 meters away at the observation deck, which I think is safer for parking. We were able to see constellations and shooting stars, and they even took photos for us. It was a fun and fulfilling tour. Thank you very much.

集合場所には車が3~4台停められるスペースしかありません。100mほど離れたところに展望台のしっかりとした駐車場があり、こちらのほうが安心して停められると思います。
星座や流れ星も見られ、写真も撮ってくださり、盛りだくさんな楽しいツアーでした。

Since neither of us was very good at posing, the staff were kind and taught us how to pose. I was truly happy to take photos under such a beautiful starry sky on our honeymoon. It was the most beautiful starry sky I have ever seen in my life. I'm glad I entrusted everything to them; it became a lifelong memory.

This was my second trip to Miyako Island, and this time we decided to try stargazing photography for the first time! I made a reservation for this experience.

The travel date coincided with a full moon, so I was informed in advance that the photos would be taken with moonlight, which helped me visualize what to expect.

On the day of the shoot, I had also made a reservation for dinner, and when I communicated that, they set a meeting time that allowed for plenty of flexibility.

There were some moments of waiting for the clouds to clear, but the shoot went smoothly, and I received about 15 photos, which I am very satisfied with!

At first, it wasn't a starry sky, which was a bit disappointing, but fortunately, it was the day of the supermoon, and the moon was truly beautiful! We were just silhouettes in the photos, but that was nice too. I am very pleased with the final results.

旅行日は満月で、月明かりでの写真撮影になること、その場合こーゆー仕上がりになりますよ。と事前に確認して頂き、イメージがしやすかったです(*^^*)
撮影の当日は夜ご飯の予約もしていた為、その時間も伝えたところ、待ち合わせもゆとりのある時間で設定していただきました。
撮影は雲待ちとかはありましたがスムーズに終わり、写真も15枚程送って下さり、大変満足しています(≧∇≦*)！！

最初は星空ではなかったので、少し残念な気持ちもありましたが、タイミングよくスーパームーンの日だったのもあり、月が本当に綺麗でした！
自分たちはシルエットのみ。という感じでしたが、それもまた良い♪
仕上がりは大変満足しています(^-^)

In the darkness, I saw bats flying in front of me, heard the sounds of fish jumping, the rustling of something stepping on fallen leaves, and the hooting of an owl—everything felt eerie and mystical (there's no way I would have gone without Iwamoto). By the time we returned to the mouth of the river, it was completely dark. In that setting, as I dipped the paddle into the water to head back to the starting point, countless glow-in-the-dark insects lit up, which was also very mystical. I’ve done various activities like daytime mangrove kayaking and night jungle tours, but this was the best optional tour. Next time I come, I definitely want to do this with my kids as well!

この道30年のベテラン岩本さんに案内して頂き、カヌーで浦内川河口付近へ。水上から見るサンセットは最高でした。満点の星を見た後は、怪しげな細い流域に入ります。暗闇の中、目の前をコウモリが飛んだと思えば、あちこちで魚が跳ねる音、何かが落ち葉を踏む音、ミミズクの鳴き声、全てが不気味&神秘的です（岩本さん無しで行く気には到底なりません）。河口に戻ってくる頃には完全に暗闇です。そんな中で、スタート地点に戻ろうと水面にパドルを差し込むと、無数の夜行虫が光って、これもまたとても神秘的です。昼間のマングローブカヤック、歩きでのナイトジャングルツアーなど、色々やりましたが、オプショナルツアーとしてはこれが最高でした。次回来たら、今度は子供も入れて必ずやりたいと思います！

Miyako Island has unpredictable weather that often doesn't match the forecast, but we were lucky and it was sunny! At the meeting time, there was heavy rain, and we waited in the car because we hadn't taken photos yet. We waited for just under an hour, but afterwards, we were able to take wonderful pictures. Since these are photos I couldn't have taken myself, I'm glad I asked for them. I definitely want to request this again when I visit Miyako Island next time.

Just beyond the forest, we discovered a quiet sandy beach with no footprints! It was pitch dark, but it felt special, and I'm glad I participated in this tour. I was able to catch a glimpse of the coconut crab in the crevices of the rocks. Since it's wild/nature, I understand that it's not guaranteed. However, I felt it would have been nice to have some explanations with photos for those who might not see them. During the stargazing, there wasn't much explanation about the visible stars, just comments like "It's beautiful," so I think having a knowledgeable guide would have increased satisfaction.

The light provided was weak and not very useful, which was disappointing. I think it should be checked in advance. Since we paid nearly 5,000 yen, I hoped for a tour that offered more than just luck in spotting wildlife.

I was able to see coconut crabs, hermit crabs, stick insects, bats, land crabs, frogs, wild boars, and more.

Although I couldn't see their faces as they were sleeping and completely still, I was able to see a Ryukyu Scops Owl at a very close distance. It seemed to be a very rare case, and it became a wonderful experience.

The starry sky was incredibly beautiful, unlike anything you can see in the city, and I was able to see shooting stars.

During the tour, there were some areas with uneven footing, but the guide was very attentive and kept reminding us to be careful, so I felt safe walking.

Additionally, I enjoyed a fun time as the guide shared recommendations for local shops and talked about the area!

ヤシガニ、ヤドカリ、ナナフシ、コウモリ、オカガニ、カエル、イノシシ等見ることができました。
